I called about Botox treatment for their advertised price of $9 per unit. I was unaware of any contract. The salesperson said she would help me register and that she needed a credit card to pay in advance. Then, I was informed that I was under a contract for a year. When I called her back, she agreed to give me the advertised price, so I continued with the scheduled appointment. Salesperson said I also had to purchase 50 units and that I could use all of them on my first visit. I only received half of these injections and can't even tell that I got Botox. When I called to get the rest, they said I only had 4 units left. I cancelled my appointment with no further treatments because customer service would not help me and I didn't like all the deception. I have tried numerous times to find out what's going on and how to resolve. I have unsubscribed to their e-mails and I am worried now about extra unauthorized to my account. I was transferred to someone who told me that they saw Alexandra's review on my claim and that she would try to reach out again. I explained the whole situation again and also brought up that there are multiple cases of this happening (no calls, no schedules and then canceling contracts due to expiration) via reviews on Yelp and on Google. Finally she put me through to someone else in corporate. Abagale not only listened to my complaints, she validated them and has renewed my contract to finish my treatments (laser hair removal). Thank you, Abagale. I'm patient and waited months and months for appointments during the pandemic for the past two years. I, as well as many other clients who have had scheduling/contract issues, just want the services we paid for. I'm sorry, but I feel I am still having to give low ratings due to the huge run around, as well as having a year and a half treatment take three years now. I was told during the marketing I would receive four (4) appointments. I paid over 3000$ for just two appointments, over 90 days. I called the office, and they said it was 4-applications of the cool-sculpting to my inner thigh. The representative blew me off on the two occasions I called because I was attempting to schedule the third appointment. I would not recommend this location to anyone. I requested to speak to the manager, who said they would call me back. Did not happen. You can get a better experience by using Groupon, which is what I should have compared to them. I just had my first laser treatment with Amanda, and I'm happy to report that it was a good experience! I was nervous that it would be painful, but it really wasn't. SCAM alert. No REFUND policy they won't tell you about. They Never answer phones. Don't return messages. And no departments communicate. This person sells and 3 days later you can book. Then you find out the truth of what she sold you. Then you can't schedule the second part that you just learned about because they don't answer phones or return calls. Although the staff at the office is nice, the policies around refunding and the run around you get from the back offices is unacceptable. Even the staff at the locations admit it and I'm not sure why Atlanta radio stations continue to promote this business. I paid $200 for some magic cream and never received it. Spent an hour on hold for a Corporate Manager bc the billing department couldn't refund it. Once I received the CM on the phone, she said I needed to call the location and deal with it at the location. They said I needed to speak with the CM... needless to say I never got the refund or the product. They will charge you annually for some VIP pricing and give you the same refund runaround. I paid for a treatment and had to cancel 2 days later. I never received any treatments. The associate at the location where I was going to get my treatments done (East Cobb) told me she couldnt help me with my refund and told me to call my sales assiciate. I was told by my sales associate Teri Tooley that she couldnt refund me, even though she was able to process my order, and that someone would be in contact with me about my refund in a few days. That was 3 weeks ago, no one has contacted me. Worse, no one answers their corporate or customer service numbers when I attempt to contact them. I have received no services and they have not returned my money. I cant contact them and they arent contacting me. read more

I cannot in good conscience recommend Ideal Image. The appointment system that they use is abysmal. The front desk staff is consistently apathetic to the situation. I've scheduled numerous appointments that have "auto canceled" because I didn't confirm the email within 180 minutes. Well, I have to have the email to auto confirm. Not getting emails. However, I'm getting emails from January asking me to confirm appointments back in January!! It's April! Those are the ones that canceled on me. The front desk staff at the various locations must be tired of customers becoming frustrated because their attitude is consistently apathetic, borderline rude. I even call 3 days prior to verbally confirm. Receptionist says ok you're confirmed, sorry you didn't get the email. I take off work 2times!!!! 2times only to show up and the appointments have "auto canceled." So I switch email addresses, thinking maybe it's a gmail problem. Still NO emails! They have my phone number to text me to confirm. Very randomly I'll get a text for one appointment but not another. I called just now to make sure my Botox appointment is confirmed for Monday. Nope, it auto canceled! Had to reschedule. Luckily there was a spot open. That leads to the other problem is being able to schedule my 5 IPL face and hands treatments because of a lack of aestheticians. I end up driving ALL over metro Atlanta just to get these 5 treatments done. Some of the locations are better than others as far as customer service. Toco Hills is great, Buckhead is AWFUL. I can't wait to finish up this arduous process so I can find a better place. Very frustrated. That being said, the providers, when I do manage to get into an appointment have been awesome. I am not generous with giving out stars unless the service is exceptional. Ideal image Augusta picked up the slack and let me have my treatment. In my head, I think I have had 4 out of 8 treatments but Ideal Image claims I have had more and am finished with my treatments. Most of the time they have been short-staffed, and complainers like myself have been bumped off the schedule or sent to other impossible places. Once I was assigned to go and get treated in Buckhead, GA. That place is in the heart of the city, then it was raining cats and dogs-- thank you nature for making my life miserable. I just called and canceled that appointment. With the stress and massive wacky hormones, I started looking like a yeti. Ideal Image of Augusta came to my rescue. I would rather drive 3 hours for an appointment than drive to Buckhead and get squashed like a bug on the tiny inner-city roads. Anyways, my appointment gets canceled again, supposed to be my final treatment- I give up, I don't care anymore... I rather go to WTS and get waxed head to toe than go tortured mentally and physically by a laser at Ideal Image. Never again!! read more

Update: I inquired about additional services. I got a IMMEDIATE call back. I tried to also explain my complaint about not being contacted about rescheduling for services I'd already paid for (and actually showed up for). I got bounced around 3 times. Appears there is ample staff to take my money but not to have services rendered. The only thing I was told was that I was outside my contract window now. Well I wasn't when I showed up and the power was out. They opened a "case" and said they'd get back to me. If they are getting back to me like they were supposed to about rescheduling then I'm not at all optimistic but we shall see. Next step will be to file a complete with the Better Business Bureau. Like many others who have left a review I disappointed with the customer service. It is challenging to get an appointment at best. I paid for and received all but one of my cool tone sessions. I was scheduled for the last one at a different location because I could not get in at East Cobb and drove out of my way for the last appointment but the power went out and I was unable to get the treatment. I was told that someone would be in touch to get me rescheduled a few months ago. STILL waiting.... I was thinking about more services but before I consider I need more assurances on the customer service. This component is just as critical as the service itself. This company is a SCAM ! Be AWARE. I had the hardest time with this company , what they do is a fraud and they deserve to get shut down. The last lady i went to told me I have about 5 sessions left but when i just finished my service today they told me the next one is going to be my last session. I stated that this is not true and they said we have a 16 months policy and it's how many sessions you can squeeze within! Yet they are always out of appointment ! They schedule my appointments every three months ! The front desk gave me a phone number for corporate which doesn't even get picked up !!! The girl who did my laser was rude and was saying we may not be able to do all your areas today since you were 15 minutes late !!! After 3 months of not giving me an appointment ?! Now she wants to even postpone it later to burn one more session of mine ! It's been 14 months passed for me in a contract they trapped me in and although i tried so many times to cancel it they stated they cannot as it is against the contract ! How can you not be able to cancel a contract when you are not even giving the service yet, not even scheduling ?! It took me 2 months to get my first appointment! In the middle of the contract they cancelled my contract and put it back again only so they can remove the promotion i had in my account ! This company is a disaster. We all need to file a lawsuit against these people. They collect our money in the beginning and ignore every single issue we report to them because why even care when they have our money? I literally downloaded Yelp to leave this review. You pay for a non refundable service and every appt has been moved or delayed even though they take payments out on time. They overbook their clients. I say I want to book in advance and they tell me the schedule isn't out yet but anytime I call when they tell me to to book, everything is booked up so my laser treatment gets pushed back. Then they tell me my contract runs out soon so I won't get the right amount of treatments that they promised bc of this. Makes no sense. Not thinking of the customer what do ever. Then they tell me if I want my treatment to be done two weeks past the time I am suppose to get it done, I can go to Buford which is quite the drive on top of driving an hour to even get to this ideal image. What a terrible experience. I (unfortunately) allowed myself to be wrangled into buying the ultratherapy for reducing neck fat. What a joke. I went to East Cobb and the machine quit working and their "replacement" wasn't any good either. They sent me to Alpharetta for the remainder. After the travel, serious pain it causes, and waiting months for results - there was none! Also, don't fall for their annual membership of $250. You can't cancel it once its charged. They sold it to me as though it was a one time charge - then it showed up on my Amex. I called them days after the charge and "too bad" we'll cancel for next year, but were keeping your money for this year...even if you don't want it. Run away!!!!! Another complaint about trying to finish up services paid for out of contract date. They were closed due to covid. We got no call as to when they would reopen and every time we called we got the run around until contract was expired. 3k down drain and would not help in anyway. The lady seemed nice named Lanie at first and then I did what she asked calling back with my wife. She said I was threatening her out of the blue and again hung up on us forwarding us to corporate again. Dear miss lanie. Please do your homework and listen to your recordings. I'm only leaving 1 star because the staff was friendly. Please do not go here. Ideal Image ruined my face. I did 2 cool sculpting treatmeants on my face to try to remove fat from under my chin. When I brought my issues to management that neither treatment I spent well over 1,000$ to do and saw absolutely no results. They offered me a kybella treatment for free to "get the results I wanted". My face is worse than ever before. I do intense hour long kickboxing classes 3 times a week & eat healthy. I lose weight everywhere but my face. If I thought I was insecure about it before it's 1000x worse now. Not only did I waste my money but ruined my self esteem because of this place. Signed up for a package, filled out all the paperwork and drove 45 minutes for my appointment to be told that since I had a basal cell carcinoma years ago (from indoor tanning) they would want a referral from my dermatologist to see me. Why was this not addressed in the consultation? Because it was a money grab - that's why! I simply asked to be refunded the amount I had paid and removed from contract and was told someone would call me later to help with this. No call a few hours later and now I'm being told that no manager is available for 4 business days and they are the only ones who can issue refunds. Absolutely not acceptable! I had been going to a different place for this service for many years and my gut told me it was a bad idea to switch!!! I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED. I've started coming here close to a year ago, and it was great in the beginning. Don't know what happened to the customer service but it has completely gone down the drain. I paid for a full Brazilian hair removal, and feel like I've been paying forever! The prices are always changing and I'm not sure how. Then i added on underarms and was only able to get one service since Covid in March. It's not August; and they said someone would reach out to schedule my appointment, hasn't happened. I've called numerous times, no answer. And they're still charging my card! I've had to go so far as getting a new bank card so they could stop authorizing whatever amounts they wanted on my card. They will pressure you into signing an expensive contract and, in my case, put down a large down payment. They will NOT go over this contract with you, so read it carefully. They will be talking to you and glossing over the contract, pressuring you to sign quickly, but don't fall for it! I assumed that, like any other business, if I did not use the service I wouldn't be charged for it, but here we are. I cancelled my appointment days in advance, as I did not feel comfortable with the service. My consult was over video, and I kept hearing awful reviews. I just wanted to wash my hands of it. Turns out, you cannot get even one cent of your money back, even if you cancel in advance and never use their services. And they don't care about their clients since they already have their money. If you try to get a refund, they will cite their "no refunds" policy repeatedly, and remind you that you are the one who signed the contract. I completely understand not giving refunds for service rendered, especially in the medical aesthetics business, but to refuse to give a refund for service never even received?? Crooks. I made an appointment today for Botox as I moved to the area this year and needed a new place for that. The appointment was for 3:30 and at 4pm there were two people in the waiting room who got there before me who had still not been seen. One girl said her appointment was at 3pm. What I could see from the waiting area seemed like they were incredibly unorganized. It appeared to be a really unprofessional environment so I let the girls at the front know I was leaving and would find another med spa to get my Botox. They charged me for an entire extra area for laser hair removal in which I had one time you hear that was going in that area, not only that they don't even remind you your sessions you have,they just let them expire so you can back and pay for the "lifetime unlimited" treatments which are 40$ &up per area. During Covid it was hard to even get an appointment in the office, and then they dont reach out and tell you your sessions have expired in the 16 month time span. It's over priced! Arrangements made that were not "documented" in the account so we get there and are being charged when the services are still part of the contract we already paid. I received their cool sculpting neck treatment twice because that is what I was recommended. They told me that I would see results later on within the next six months of both treatments. I am getting closer to month six and I see absolutely no difference and paid a pretty penny for it. I literally have my pictures from before and after and my after still looks like before and I am supposed to be completed with all of my treatments. I went in for a cool sculpting session 6 months ago. The woman I consulted with before hand told me I should be fine doing only one round of cool sculpting. Results take 6 months max to show. 6 months later I have seen absolutely zero results. When I called to explain this, their only solution was to give me about $200 off my next session (meaning an additional session would cost me another $1.8k). A joke! The woman I spoke with on the phone even said (after she looked at my pictures) the woman I initially consulted with & the woman that did my cool sculpting should have been upfront and honest with me about the fact that I may need 2-3 sessions to see results. The experience over the phone was not that great however when i got to the marietta location the office was clean, modern and followed all the safety guidelines for COVID. The receptionist greeted me with a friendly smile. Didn't have to wait long to be seen by Meredith, my consultant. The experience I had with Meredith was wonderful.She was friend, cleaned, professional and very informative when it came to the product I was using. She filled me in on the dos and donts. This place offers "unlimited" laser hair removal over a certain period of time. What they do not tell you is that they will make it impossible to schedule the appointments 6-8 weeks apart like you are supposed to be able. I'm almost willing to bet that once someone pays the additional $250 for the insurance that the scheduling issue disappears. I wish I would have read other reviews before going here. Like others have said, the first treatment was good. Now I'm being canceled on and can't get worked back in. The customer service at this business is horrible! They market that RNs are providing their services. I'm not sure that's a great thing. I've had the same services provided by an aesthetician, which is primarily trained for skin care. My mother is a nurse and skin care was never a focus of her training. I'm also not seeing the same results that I received with the aesthetician. read more
