So I went to Ideal Image after I responded to a sale of Botox for 9 dollars a unit, with a 25 cash back rebate if purchased same day as consultation. I went for my consultation ( I've had Botox numerous times before). She told be she couldn't inject in my brow area for a lift and that it was against their policy. She then escorted me to a consultation area. She then tells me that in order to get the nine dollar price I would need to purchase 50 units. This was never discussed on the phone prior to this visit. She also told me that I wasn't guaranteed to get same-day Botox. And then I may have to come back for another Appointment. This place is a total scam and I do not recommend it at all. I've had great experiences both times. Chelsea did both procedures. I was comfortable and satisfied with her expertise and professionalism in both appointments. Celia Ramirez gave a normal sales presentation with a flip folder and all. All honesty it was expected as her title is lead sales consultant. There onsite RN advised on a cool sculpting applicator. Then we headed back for a price workup. Abs & Flanks 12 cycles, price per unit 756.00. Total cost $9,072.00. Catch was they would knock off 385.56 if I booked that day. This was a huge red flag. I went two other places having the same thing quoted at around $3900.00. Ideal Image Novi was just trying to suck me dry. I'm so glad I shopped around. Other places have a much better experience too. I signed up to get laser hair removal treatments in 2019 shortly before COVID happened and they were completely closed up until probably mid 2020. At this point I wasn't able to get weeks of treatment however I was still charged for the services. Finally they're open consistently but they often cancel appointments last minute. I'm a travel nurse so the appointments I set are during the times I'm in Michigan because the area I was working at didnt have an Ideal Image location. Oftentimes when they cancel you aren't able to get another appointment for weeks! I set an appointment in April 2022 and they tell me that this is my last session. I'm confused because I've gotten maybe 4 treatments in that 2019-2022 timeframe whereas it was supposed to be anywhere from 9-10. I explained this to them and they were completely unapologetic and told me the best thing they can do is give me one complimentary treatment which they "don't normally do". All this is a slap in the face because it's at their error and they refuse to adequately make up for it. As a result of inconsistent appointments the treatment was ineffective and money is wasted. I would not recommend this establishment, spend your money elsewhere. read more

Had Cool sculpting done about 8 months ago, never worked. Went through pain and suffering for nothing. These people actually insulted my intelligence by asking me to come in and do it again. The nurses at this location are very kind, knowledgeable and all around awesome. My issues at the Novi location are with with the reception desk - I have twice now had my appointments not been properly recorded on the books. I would not recommend this location - the desk staff is overly nice until you bring up an issue that they caused and then they get upset with their guests and hang up the phone after saying "...k". I then decided I didn't want to pay that much for it so I called them to cancel. Since I had not had any laser done yet, I thought it would be an easy cancellation. The salesperson, Sara, INSISTED that was against their policy and not even possible. I called the company who the financing was through and they told me that it very much was possible and that the salespeople needed retraining as they were doing this as tactic to keep me paying. This place is great! Everything is super clean and the staff is very friendly. I had a complimentary consultation back when they had their grand opening in September. It was very informative, and as I have been shopping around for quite some time I decided this was the best place for me to start my treatments. The staff here knows way more about laser hair removal than other businesses do. During the consultation I met with the very sweet consultant as well as a registered nurse and a nurse practitioner. The areas I wanted done were assessed and they said that not only will my hair be gone but my ingrown hairs and bumps too! I have had two treatments so far and I have already seen a difference in both. I am so happy with the outcome and glad that I did my research and ended at Ideal Image. While there, I also had a great conversation with the front desk staff. They were super friendly and made me a hot apple cider! Yum! One of them also walked me back to the bathroom which had an array of products I could use (nice extra touch!) With my package they also gave me a product bag of Elemis and Bliss products. I love these and I will be going in to buy some more as stocking stuffers!! I have been in 3 times so far, 2 appointments and one time to pay my bill (which they have several, very flexible payment options!). I met the medical director the second time around and he was also very nice. I had a poor experience here about a year ago when I was looking into laser hair removal at this company. I heard an ad on 955 that they had a promotion going on and called in to set up a consultation and get more information. The first consult was rescheduled. The second consult: I arrived and there was some sort of party or event going on that they were preparing for. The consult consisted of a woman taking me into a laser hair removal room, awkwardly standing there (there was no where to sit besides the table, and she didn't offer me a seat), she asked "what do you want done", I told her, and she gave me a really expensive quote (I don't have that much hair, and only was interested in legs and underarm at the time). Extremely unprofessional and the way the consult went (under 10 minutes, awkward, and not welcoming) left a bad taste in my mouth. I walked out and never looked back. I should mention that for a couple months after that I received phone calls from them trying to get my business. No thanks. I ended up going to Orchid Laser Hair removal- great experience and better price. TDLR; this place was overpriced and unprofessional. read more

I called ideal image to have botox done before a vacation. On the phone they told me they sell it by units, which I was happy to hear because some places sell it by area. They also quoted me a price that was much lower over the phone. When I entered the establishment I told them that I had been successful with 28 units in the past at other salons. The receptionist called the injectionist in to have her look me over to tell me what she suggested, which was 62 units, roughly 550.00. way over what I ever needed before. I hemmed and hawwed at the price, but they assured me that it was the amount that I needed if I wanted it to work properly. After coming back for my follow up appointment two weeks later, only one side of my face was affected by the botox. I asked them why they thought it only worked on the one side and that I never had that problem before. They didn't have an answer for that and proceeded to tell me that I needed more. Another 4 units, another 49.00. Well of course they did. This second injection has also not taken effect. I am very dissatisfied and pissed that I spent roughly 600.00 on a treatment that didn't work. I don't believe I was injected with the amount of botox that I paid for. I took a mental note of the amount of botox in the syringes at my first appointment. They were lying on the tray right next to me. Two of them had roughly an inch of product in each and the third had even less than that. The syringes were already filled when I walked into the room. I did not see the bottle that the product came from either. When I came in for my follow up appointment, I noticed that the syringe was filled with just less than the smaller of the three syringes from my first visit. Which leads me to believe from my calculations that I was only given half or even less than the amount of units I paid for the first visit. In fact, I believe they injected me with 28 units between the two sessions because from my consultation, they already knew that worked for me. Yet made me think I needed more than I really did. I also took note that everyone who works there looks like they all have botox. Hard for me to believe that even receptionists have 600.00 every three months to spend on botox. I think not. I also did some research on the internet. I learned that a bottle of botox contains 100 units. The company who sells it charges 560.00 for the entire bottle. I also saw the size of the bottle. In no way were there 60 units injected into the needles they used on me. I only wish I would have done this research before the appointment. These people are scammers. I will never recommend this establishment to anyone. In fact I know many women in the Detroit area and I'm going to go out of my way to make sure everyone knows to stter clear of this place. Pretty rediculous to rip people off. Eventually you won't have any clients left which will leave you without a job or a buisness. I wish I could give no stars. Ideal Image is a scam. They "sell" you product before you receive it and then don't give you what you paid for. I was there for a consultation already interested in Kybella. I was told I needed thirty injections (10 per bottle) first 2 were $999 and the third discounted for for around $600. I was told because of the area I needed treated that I needed Kynbella first to go deep and cool sculpting that can be done in two positions to go wide. Tanya had measured me and notes were taken. No one was there to treat me for several days so I was sent to the Allen Park location for that afternoon. When I met with Alisha who was to treat me and apparently the person to train others she stated I needed 25 areas treated and marked me with the templet transfer tan using a marker to mark two more for what ended up to 22 areas. I would not of paid for three bottles an extra $600 for those to areas marked with a marker as that was the area the cool sculpting was to do weeks later. I took a photo of my chin and the marks right after treatment that shows the 22 treated dots. I spoke to the Elizebeth that signed me up and later with many follow up calls to the regional manager Ella about my dissatisfaction. I tried to explain during treatment that I was to be treated in 30 spots, she just said nope 25 and went on instructing who she was teaching. Ignoring my concerns and in the end not even giving me the 25. as she was instructing she told the other person there is always extra in the bottle so they don't have to worry abut getting the extra out. Leaving me to believe they used that "extra" in the two markered areas and never even had a third bottle. When I called and asked for a refund of that third bottle I was offered half a bottle refund as I was treated in 25 areas. saying it was my word against theirs. Umm. I have a photo!! Also, I was told I would get a call to see how I'm doing a couple days later, that never happen and I can't even say the Kybella even helped with my fullness, because now over a week later it's still sensitive, numb and swollen (I expected this) but have so little trust for them. I actually weigh less now than I did before but my stomach is twice as big. They tell me that I was an odd circumstance That its extremely rare that this happens... i'm calling BS on this one. I think this happens more than they want you to believe. They admitted it(I have it recorded) that it was their problem and that they were going to pay for me to go somewhere and have this corrected. We are coming up on almost a year of my having this procedure done and still I am going round and round with no end in sight. So now I start my lawsuit and I am going to contact every news agency in the city who will listen to me and I am going to make sure someone shows up with cameras.. maybe Help me Hank or one of the other consumer reporters will put this on TV. The lady started of the conversation by telling me that my husband/men may say they doesn't care about it and it doesn't bother them, but they all really care if their women have facial hair. I about fell out of my chair. I did interrupt her and made it clear I was there for myself and not to please my husband or anyone else. I am a strong confident woman and this experience is to empower woman and boost their confidence, so it didn't damage my self esteem aside from make me upset she would go down this path.
