It seemed more like a lack of attention to the front area rather than being busy. I did have to track down an employee who was inside the garage space, which requires a code to access. I knocked on the window a few times before he noticed me. Once he realized I was there, he took great care of me. He was helpful, attentive, and made the process of selecting and ordering my tires smooth and easy. Overall, the service itself was good, but there definitely needs to be more awareness and presence at the front counter so customers aren't left waiting or wondering how to get assistance.

Once I pulled up, I stated I was not popping the hood, I told the first person I was there to have the car tires examined as now a second time was low. The vehicle was pulled around back and after a wait I was informed that their technology could not patch a tire with its tread depth. They referred me to two other businesses. Because of that, I trusted them to take proper care of my car -- but this visit completely broke that trust. After they worked on my car, it suddenly started leaking oil severely -- something that was never a problem before. What's even worse is that they admitted they knew my car had a severe oil leak but continued to work on it anyway. Their own policy clearly states that they are not supposed to perform services on vehicles with severe oil leaks or similar mechanical issues until those problems are repaired. By ignoring that, they made the situation much worse. Now my car is leaking oil so badly that it's unsafe to drive, and they want to charge me around $600 to fix the issue -- a problem they caused by continuing to work on a car they should've refused service on. When I confronted the manager about it, he was snarky, rude, and completely unprofessional. He showed no accountability or concern and even said that he "wished he never touched my car," all while admitting they knew there was a severe oil leak. Yet they still took my money and tried to take advantage of me -- clearly assuming I wouldn't question it because I'm a woman. This entire experience was unacceptable, dishonest, and unethical. I expected better from a place I've trusted for years. If they had followed their own procedures and treated customers with respect, none of this would have happened. I strongly recommend anyone considering service here to be extremely cautious. Ask questions, get everything in writing, and don't let them take advantage of you. I'll be reporting this to corporate and taking my business elsewhere moving forward.

Did provide the solution of not having any type of service animal if you wanted to be served within this location which is in direct violation of federal law and was advised that documentation proving same was on my person. Reported this to corporate and waiting on an answer. Was advised by the pep boys manager Charleen "disappeared" from work after kicking me out and therefore never was educated on being ADA compliant. Still waiting on a response since I had ordered my tires and services before arrival. Go to the park ave location in Memphis! They fixed my vehicle and even greeted my pup with open arms.
