Hi all, please be very careful when dealing with this company and a woman named Sonia. Based on my personal experience, I strongly recommend doing your research before making any payments. She initially comes across as very friendly and reassuring, but unfortunately, the services I was promised were not delivered. I was asked to make full payment upfront, and afterward, I was told that her truck had been stolen. When I requested my money back, I did not receive a refund and was told that she had no idea what was going on. Please be extremely careful and read the other comments and reviews regarding similar experiences before doing business with her. I have also noticed that she changes her name on Facebook and that payments may be requested under other people's names. I'm sharing this as a warning so others can do their due diligence and hopefully avoid having the same experience. read more

Great communication initially, but everything changed after the event. The company was very responsive and helpful throughout the booking process, which gave me confidence that everything would go smoothly. Unfortunately, that completely changed on the day of the event. Our event was on August 1st. About 30 minutes before the event, the rental company still had not arrived, so I reached out to find out where they were. It was only then that I was told there had been an 'accident' and they were unable to make it as planned. They ended up gathering what they could from another location, which resulted in several chairs being missing, 5 umbrellas not being delivered, and the setup not being completed as agreed. My guests ultimately had to step in and help with setup. Which by the way, some items weren't in best condition (dirty). I understand that accidents and unexpected situations happen, and I sincerely hope everyone involved was okay. My concern is the lack of communication and follow-through afterward. Had I not reached out 30 minutes before the event, I would not have known there was an issue. I requested a partial refund for the items and services we did not receive. It has now been 3 weeks since the event, and despite multiple attempts to reach them by text and email, including one final follow-up as a last attempt to resolve this directly, I have received no response. You would think that after an experience like this, a business would at least acknowledge the situation and make an effort to make it right. Unfortunately, there has been no response or attempt to resolve the matter. What's especially disappointing is that they were extremely responsive and helpful throughout the booking process. Once there were issues that needed to be addressed, the communication completely stopped. I understand that the accident was unexpected, but the lack of communication and customer service afterward is what ultimately made this experience so disappointing. Rust, Wrinkles, and Rudeness -- This rental company doesn't need a tune-up--it needs a full-on identity crisis intervention. We rented event gear for an upscale grad party and got unambiguous chaos in return. Chairs: Rusted, dirty, and some had absent rubber feet. The delivery person said "No one sees the legs." They did replace the ones missing the feet. Tables: Gum stuck underneath. Tablecloths: Wrinkled, stained, mismatched. One was, and I am NOT joking... a satin bed sheet. Chafing dishes: One collapsed completely, with full-flame Sterno fired up, nearly burning our family member. Serving spoons: Dirty with crusted food. Customer service? Accusatory, uncaring, and unprofessional. They only take Venmo or Zelle, -- and we now see why. No disputes. No accountability. We apologized when someone in our group raised their voice, but the rudeness from their end was constant. For pick-up, yelled at us for not having the chairs and tables at driveway. There is a narrow alleyway where many people traverse, including a 4 year-old. No way we could have these teetering near a rambunctious little one. Their customer service is so bad, I'm surprised they haven't started a support group for the people they've traumatized! This is the 2nd year in a row that I hired iDecor. I rented 100 chairs for a company event. I worked with Sonia. I did have to pay the full amount up front 2 weeks prior to the event. Don't trust these crooks! They robbed me of having a perfect birthday party. I was charged $2500 for decorating my 40th royal birthday themed party last September. Sonia sent me a picture about a week before my party which looked nothing like we discussed earlier last year and contracted for. Then, the day of my party I got totally something else. Now, I'm trying to sue them and they are avoiding my calls, emails, and letters. Very unprofessional. Make sure to read about the other 1 star reviews before you start calling them. From the moment they wanted me to pay by Zelle or Venmo over the phone I had a feeling this company wasn't that professional. They dropped off filthy dirty tables and chairs, a couple of the chairs were mixed matched, many of the tables and chairs didn't have the rubber soles and they scratched my floors Then they wanted to push the day of pick up further out even though I stayed next day pickup and even asked me to set all the tables and chairs outside for them to make it easier for their helper to load. When I mentioned how their equipment was dirty and didn't have the rubber protectors, she proceeded to tell me that those tables and those chairs were outdoor equipment, well that explains the dirt that came out of the holes of the tables and chairs as I was setting them up in my home. Basically, she made it seem like it was my fault because I was not specific enough to ask for indoor chairs. I've used iDecor for my White Party two years in a row now, and I honestly can't imagine going anywhere else! Their cocktail tables are always in great condition and add such a polished, chic look to my setup. What I really love is how kind and accommodating they are. This year, I asked if I could stop by a few days before the scheduled pick up time simply to check if the table cloths I purchased fit. Instead of making me come back again, they let me take them right then and there--it saved me so much time and stress, and I thought that was such a thoughtful gesture. I was left scrambling last minute and had to find another company to save the day (thankfully, the second company was amazing). But the stress and extra cost this caused were unacceptable. Spoke with Saini via text and also a couple of phone calls. It was a last minute request for a graduation party this weekend. We rented white chairs, tables (5ft, 6ft, and 8ft) and canopy (10x10). My husband liked the canopy so we asked to rent another one since it was going to be a hot day. No problem they said and delivered the extra canopy and 6ft table the night before our event. We had plenty of seating and shade for our guests. And enough tables for the food and gifts as well. Payment is via Zelle. Validate and confirm the phone number or email and everything is fine! I specifically reached out to this vendor for a simple request. Chairs and balloons. They gave me a total invoice for round trip delivery and then only showed up with balloons and no chairs. They even billed me for round trip delivery even though obviously they wouldn't come back to just pick up balloons. And then they claimed it's my fault I didn't check the invoice for it to say "chairs" even though that was part of my original request. And then demanded another service charge to deliver the chairs. SCAM alert! Negative rating! They will ruin your special day! They will not follow your decoration request, will take all money in advance and provide cheap decoration as they want. They did not complete decoration on time as well. Sonia/Jazz/Janhvi all will talk very sweet in the beginning but once you pay the full amount in advance they will not answer your calls. Be cautious of this company! My point of contact was Sonia. We hosted an event for our newborn and hired them for furniture (table, mattresses and chairs) and canopy rental. I was in touch with other companies as well however, I decided to go with them as they had the option to rent out mattresses which many other companies don't provide. Little did I know then what was I signing up for. They disappointed at multiple fronts : I had to make the full payment upfront in advance to confirm reservation of material. Additionally, they don't offer any refunds for outdoor event cancellations even due to weather. When the reservation was done the weather advisory for the date of the event was clear but later weather office started forecasting rains on the day of the event. Since I had made the payment in full, my hands were tied since there existed no option for readjustment/refund. Our contract was for 40 chairs (with seating pads/cushions) but they delivered only 39. Moreover, the delivered chairs were dirty and some were torn also (Please refer to the images attached). The delivery guy (Mr. Kumar) helped us out with 4 more steel chairs of a different kind (no seating pad/cushion) to make up for the screw up. When I mentioned this to Sonia over the call, she said that I should consider myself fortunate that I am getting the furniture and that my order went through because one of their personnels had canceled my order in the system. (More context : Sonia and I had been in a discussion that I might have to cancel the event due to forecast of rain but I never did because my money was already tied up. ) Instead of being apologetic, Sonia was condescending in a situation caused by one of their personnel and in-spite of under delivering on the order both quality and quantity wise. Upon mentioning that I am going to put all this on Yelp she started talking rudely over the phone. Summary: They are a bunch of unprofessionals who are trying to make money however it suits them. BEAWARE...Please be careful before you choose iDecor events for your future needs. I ignored the Yelp reviews and did not do enough research about iDecor before working with them. I regret it deeply! For your own benefit and for the sake of a successful event of yours, please read the reviews before you decide on iDecor. iDecor Events and Sonia Saini are FRAUDESTERS and I am determined to take them to the Law of Courts for the FRAUD they did to us and many other customers. They are a bunch of skilled SCAMMERS who will play every trick to get your business. Sonia is one of the most aggressive, abusive and vicious individuals I ever met. We will be pursuing both Criminally and Civilly legal action for Consumer fraud to get them to justice for not fulfilling their own contract, forcing us to pay 100% advance and then "No-Show" on the day of the event, the financial losses, mental harassment, emotional distress and social embarrassment they caused. We are also collaborating with several iDecor customers who are DEFRAUDED by these crooks. As many other customers highlighted, most of the good reviews you see are FAKE. Please ask them to meet at their registered office at 1524, Fulton Pl, Fremont office and you will get an idea of what I am talking about. iDecor Events and Sonia Saini have been running this fraudulent operation under various identities and names, see attached pics. Event Summary: We spent weeks planning a very special event on 13th April 2024 and hired iDecor for decoration, furniture, dessert cart etc. Sonia was our contact person and remotely engaged with us through various phone numbers. Unlike every other contractor, they forced a 100% advance payment contract to us and trusting them we reluctantly paid. One week before the event, the SF Bay area weather forecast suddenly changed, with a forecast of a storm and sudden chilly weather. As our event was outdoors, we immediately contacted the vendors, including Sonia (iDecor), to explore alternate dates. Every vendor was cooperative and tried to help us reschedule except Sonia. She kept us hanging for a decision for 2 days and on 3rd day denied any future dates. They didn't agree to a refund or give us any way out to avoid such bad weather, especially for an outdoor event. As we were forced to pay the full amount of $2200, she left us with no choice but to go ahead with continuing this outdoor event in such sever weather. During this entire process of we requesting new dates, she became abusive and very violent. After forcing this decision on us, she became incommunicative and stopped responding to all our messages and calls. Given this whole experience working with her, we were very nervous on the quality of her service, alas we didn't know that we were already DEFRAUDED. On the day of the event, iDecor people did not show up. It was a "NO SHOW". Until 2.30 PM on 04/13 (event was at 5PM), we made desperate attempts to reach iDecor and Sonia, numerous phone calls, emails and Messages. She kept blocking all the numbers we tried reaching from. Her audacity is such that despite planning the whole FRAUD and taking money in advance, she forced us to do the event on 04/13. I am appalled that such people and such FARUD organizations operate in our neighborhood, and they are running amok destroying people dreams and memories in our society. This was my first time using IDecor Event services. I normally read reviews and then reach out, Sonia assured me to be on time and deliver it well and they absolutely did. They dropped the chairs tables and canopies the day before my event which worked out well for us as we were able to set up in advance. They answered promptly every-time I had questions. They text you prior to delivery and pickup so you know their arrival time. The chairs and tables could have been a little more cleaner but hey they run a rental business and they have all sorts of clients. So no harsh feelings. I definitely recommend their services and will definitely use them for my future events. read more

The drop-off and pick-up process was flawless, thanks to their coordinator, Jas, who was not only friendly but insisted we didn't need to help with unloading. When she saw us struggling with a banner, she even offered zip ties to help us attach it--a thoughtful and polite gesture! Honestly if I could give this "business" ZERO stars to post this review I would. We decided to use this company for our baby shower celebration. Spoke to Sonja about our plans a month ahead and we were assured that we would not have to worry about any issues IF we PAY THE FULL AMOUNT UPFRONT!?? First of all who runs a business this way asking for a personal zelle and for the full amount when the event hasn't even happened yet. Gave her a try anyway, we were extremely busy and needed the help. Sonja or Raji or maybe they are the same person is rude and unprofessional. Upon agreeing to pay the amount we went ahead and gave her the money. On the day of the party we were told the decorations would be dropped off no later than 8am since the baby shower starts at noon. Naturally when 8am rolled around I gave her a call, nothing. Okay, called a couple more times, nothing. Come 10 they finally call us back and said they were running a little bit late and will be there shortly.... WTF??? We told them dont even come and to refund our money. To which they responded that they were already on the way and would not refund the "round trip" fee??? How do you run a business based on delivery and you charge for travel that is INSANE. It actually pains me to write this review! But if I can save a bride the stress and heartache I went through then it's worth it. No Bride should have to deal with what happened to me. And it sucks because the reason I chose this business is because I used them before and everything went great so when it came to my big day I wanted someone relabel. I ordered my chairs for my wedding back in Nov 20222. Since I've worked with the company before I paid them in full as they request. I was scheduled to get married Friday Feb 3, 2023. I set up my own venue so chairs were to come on Wednesday Feb 1 at 4pm. Around 5:30pm I still hadn't heard from the location so I called and texted. She got back to me and told me the were burglarized and were not able to fulfill my order. Of course, with my wedding rehearsal the very next day I immediately went into a panic. I asked why I wasn't contacted and was told they lost the phone and didn't have my number. But I wrote my info on the order form and my number was available through Zelle when I paid them. I pleaded with her and asked for her help as the wedding events started the next morning and I had ZERO chairs for my guest. And being that it was evening other vendors were closed so calling other vendors wasn't an option. Plus I had already paid this in full. They let me know they only had a fraction of the chairs I paid for which were white chairs. They offered wooden chairs and at this point a chair was better than no chairs so I agreed. My family and friend saw how saddened I was and all helped trying to find the chairs I wanted and paid for. My friend found a vendor and they could accommodate getting me the chairs first thing the day of my wedding. So I reached back out to iDecor and let them know I wanted to cancel the order being that I found what I had originally paid for. She let me know they did load the chairs but understood the situation and would process my refund. After 6 weeks of not receiving it I checked back in and the owner told me that because I canceled the order I was in charge of paying it. To me under these circumstances that is unfair. Being that I wasn't notified of the incident and that they couldn't provide me what I paid for and still charged me FULL price is unjust. I read bad reviews from this place but had faith and hope and gave them the benefit of the doubt. But I truly don't wish this experience and stress on any bride or anybody with an important event. I've also attached screenshots to prove this review as I know they like to defend their actions. The facts are facts and overall this was such an awful experience. This company text me 45 minutes before they were to arrive to our party that they were unable to come. The machine was leaking and not working right. They had no other machines to bring to me. Yes I was and still am upset, but then I said fine then send me my money back that I have already paid to you so I can go and buy something else to try and make up for you not coming - this review is the day after the party and I have still not received my money back. Considering this was way cheaper to rent 12 chairs for the day than buy chairs, I'd use this business again keeping in mind the following: They were 2 hours late... luckily, so were we. The part that irritated me was that they didn't call us to tell us they were running late, we had to call and ask. When the chairs got here, they were dirty. Kinda like they just picked them up from being used and brought them straight here. Thankfully I had time and a container of Clorox wipes. Three stars for the price. Didn't have a great experience with them. They delivered one chair short and refused to refund the $2 difference. Instead they said the could have charged me for the "missing chair". They dropped the chairs off at my front door. We moved the chairs into our house and took photos 5-10 minutes after they dropped it off. So disappointed in this company. I was planning to donate the refund to charity. So I'm going to donate the total cost of the chair to charity instead.
