Absolutely worst dental experience of my life. I had ONE (1) impacted tooth that was super super painful and thankfully, this one was able to take me the next day. I had wonderful thoughts coming in because the receptionist seemed nice on the phone and I never really had a terrible experience with previous dentists before. On top of that, the dental assistants who were there were super friendly and nice, BUT my overall experience with the dentist and the price/payment method was absolute sus and I'd rather NOT go here anymore. I had some infection on my impacted wisdom tooth (i waited a long time to come in because of pandemic and because i didnt have insurance/money BEFORE to do so) and they were able to take my tooth out that same day I came in. The dentist injected the area to numb but since there was pus, didn't realize that it didnt hit the nerve properly and that I still felt excruciating pain. She went RIGHT IN AND EXTRACTED MY TOOTH and i was literally shaking and crying until she realized I was traumatized and finally injected more to numb the area. The other dental assistant was the one who said "if you can't take the pain raise your hand" and i raised it right away because that ish was PAINFULLLL; she was literally extracting my tooth out without proper numbing in the area. I get that this was an error because I had pus, but I think she shouldve made sure that I was fully numb before going rogue Like many dentists, she did comment and said something along the words of "this is what happens when you wait/dont come in" but honestly, this is very common with many dentists and I hate that they don't realize that comment is very not low income friendly of them (lmao) They told me that my insurance paid around 60% which is amazing, but since their "system was not working" at the time, I was told to pay in cash. I did question it at the time, but i didnt think that much of it until-- One month later (as of today), I received my plan's coverage in the mail and tell me why it says that they billed my insurance $2K++ for ONE TOOTH, cleaning, xray?? They took half of my annual benefits from my insurance!! I wasn't showed the bill they charged the insurance AND waited for MY INSURANCE to tell me! read more

This is the first dentist I've been to in about seven or eight years. The customer service is so great here, the atmosphere is so welcoming. I am usually terrified of the dentist but this visit was painless, fast, and made me feel better about the state of my teeth. No guild.or shame or shadiness, just kind people. iDental is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!! I owed them many many reviews for all the times I've been there but here is my first review. So, let me begin to tell you my experiences with iDental. The day after I left the other uncaring (Dr. Jamah) dental office my tooth ache was in scorching pain. There was no way I was able to go another day without seeking care. I yelped and called about 4 different dental offices but most went to voicemail nor didn't pick up probably due to busyness. iDental called me back and requested me to come in immediately after I told them my story. Chi Huyen (the receptionist on the phone) was very nice and helpful. When I got to their office, there were patients waiting in the lobby room, though I didn't have to wait too long until it was my turn. Dr. Annie was whom fixed my problems. She was very professional and knew what she was doing. She examined my mouth and told exactly what she needs to do. Immediately after the care I got from her, my pain drifted off and then completely gone after she was done. *thank goodness* So, here's the best part! (Besides fixing the pain in my mouth lol *Thank you so much Dr. Annie *hugsss x10) So, Chi Huyen said to me that my medical COVERED what was it that I had to fix unlike what Dr. Jamah had told me and also tried to charge me a arm and a leg (please read my previous post) iDental has always been so great to me ever since the first day and hasn't changed since! I almost got robbed for $280 for a deep cleaning even though my insurance covers that service, from another office. I won't mention any names of course. My boyfriend and I came here to clean our teeth last month. However, after doing x-ray and examination, the doctor pointed out that our teeth are not good. Since I didn't have much time, the filling had to be rescheduled for another day. This is a very nice place. Mrs. Huyen tried to help me book an appointment for both of us to go together to save our time. All dental staff including doctor and receptionist are very helpful. Before coming here, I was very afraid of filling or cleaning my teeth because hearing from my friend's experience at another dental office was very time consuming, tiring and expensive. But the staff here makes me feel very comfortable. The staff also clearly explained to me the benefits that I received from the insurance. The dentist (Dr.Annie) seriously lacked in her work. I came in because I wanted to get my wisdom teeth removed and it was causing a tremendous amount of pain. She did an exam on my teeth and x-rays and she was suppose to do a general cleaning of my teeth, as she started cleaning my teeth and apparently had to stop in the middle of my cleaning because my gums were sensitive. Anyways they still CHARGED my insurance for a full cleaning!! You guys just steal money from insurance without even doing your job right SMH. read more

I had great few visits with Dr. Annie but, I had recently came back and they stated that I owed a lot more than I was supposed to. The manager stated that my insurance would cover everything and for each tooth I would pay about $230 each extraction. I came back in to get another appointment and she stated I owed a lot more with my previous visits. They said that I owed over 1k and that they won't fix my tooth unless I pay the bill that was given to me 3 months later. First time here, and it's been 2 years since I had a dental check up. I would like to say WOW! The people there are really sweet and kind; they made me felt comfortable being in a new place. Unlike other dental care businesses, they actually tell you all the issues that you should be aware of, and what needs to get done right away. *Had a problem with another place, not here, where they didn't tell my girlfriend that she needed to fix her cavities. Definitely recommend this place! All of the staff are friendly and responsive. I didn't wait long, I was on time and they took me in right away. The dentist was great, I didn't feel any roughness during my cleaning procedures, the dentist and the assistant keep checking on me of I was okay and comfortable. The dentist spoke very well and explain well what's going on with me. Beside English, almost everyone here speak Spanish and vietnamese! Which is great for our community! Let me start for telling you my nightmare. I went there for a fill on my frontal tooth. They applied it and it didn´t last more than 10 days. My husband called them and They scheduled an appointment for Monday. I came in to the office just to know that the office is closed every Monday. They weren´t polite enough to say that it would be closed that day. The woman in reception made an appointment for me on Wednesday. I arrived that Wednesday and the owner said I didn´t have an appointment, my husband called them and they agreed to see me and fix the fill on my tooth. After 40 minutes they got me inside to fix my tooth, but oh big surprise, They totally forgot about me. I was there sitting for almost 2 hours, just to find out that everybody was having lunch. The receptionist was very ashamed and they called the doctor. They fix my tooth in only 5 minutes, but it took almost 2 hours when it could had been easy. In conclusion, They totally messed it out with the appointment, they made me go on a day that the office is closed. They are not polite at all, but the most important thing is that they forget that you are inside there, practically with your mouth open waiting for someone to help you. read more

After narrowing my search down to 2 dental places off my Liberty Dental plan list of dental providers, i chose i-Dental due to reading good reviews here on Yelp. Here is my encounter(s). After the first initial exam and x-rays taken at this place, i was initially seen by a young dentist who was professional and above average in experience at i-Dental, from my early impression at this place and also with the advice given to me during that initial exam. Flash forward 1 week later where i had scheduled my 2nd visit starting at 9am at i-Dental for my dental cleaning and a crown work on my upper molar. I was the first scheduled at 9am when they open. Turns out, the dentist was going to be late due to a car problem with her car's remote. I then went for a bowl of pho on Story Road next to come back at 10am, and waited another 20 minutes before being seen by the dentist in the office on that day, which was a Wednesday (Apr. 05.17). So it took an hour and 20 minutes before services began. Though this 2nd dentist named Annie appeared very well knowledged and experienced in her craft, due to the tardiness i felt rushed when receiving my partial dental cleaning which was supposed to be concluded the next visit. More on that later. So i spent 2 hours there from 9am-11am for rushed service. I also got a quote for a crown that exceeded my Liberty Dental plan's full coverage for PFM's. On the subsequent visit, this fee was waived due to the tardiness of this visit by the 2nd dentist, and the rushed service. Flash forward now to my 3rd visit where i was seen by a 3rd dentist, since certain dentists work certain days out of the week here, and so unless you can schedule your appt. on the day that the dentist you feel most comfortable and confident with is working, you should want to come here. I had a scheduled appt. for Friday, Apr. 28.17 , at 10am with Dr. Nancy, who was by far in my humble and honest opinion, the most skilled and experienced of the 3 dentists i had met. First off, she was using terms like "mesial" and "distal" when examining my crown needed tooth with her dental assistant Lana, and even cared enough to try different crowns that best suited my upper molar. Dr. Nancy also carried herself professionally and with a bit more of human care, similar to my favorite childhood dentist Dr. Kotkin, who always was concerned about patient care and pain, by being more "care-ful" and thoughful, pun intended. Above all, Dr. Nancy was extremely skilled and took her time, as patience goes a long way in performing quality dental work. This 3rd visit i finally found a dentist i would like to have solely be responsible for the care of my teeth, which are aging like the rest of my body. To find 1 good dentist is much, much better than having multiple ones, IMHO. So i will now set on the path of re-doing all my silver upper fillings with amalgam ones, and get cleanings and other work done routinely by scheduling on the days that Dr. Nancy of i-Dental works. Also a special 5-star shout-out to Lana, Huyen, and the highly professional staff at i-Dental making it a good choice for patient's dental needs. Just make sure you try and choose one of the 3? dentists that work out of there and stick with the one you are most comfortable and confident with who you can devote all your insurance and other funds to guarantee 1 dentist for your only 1 mouth you will ever eat with. I give this perfect 5-star rating due to the excellent and professionally skilled dental expertise of Dr. Nancy Nguyen. The other 2 dentists are definitely up to snuff, and my standards are slightly a bit higher than the norm. But dentist Nancy met my expectations and actually, even exceeded them.
