Office is very clean. The receptionist is very nice. Dr Loan is caring and professional. Highly recommended.

I have to put a zero star if I could or a negative review here to warn other people. 1) I got my crown done here by Dr. Loan. When she put a temporary on, it look OK..but when she put the real crown on, it look ugly because she make it too short, I feel very sad and disappointed. She also charge $500 more out of pocket, even my insurance cover for $500 I already told her,,,why didn't she make the same size like the temporary one...The teeth next to the crown on the right side is OK with normal size, and the teeth next to the crown on the left is longer size (this is the real teeth)....Then a month later, have another teeth need to filling because it 's crack and broken..., and the crown she make a month ago is shaking too, so I came back to filling another teeth and the crown is still shaking, but I don't mind..I just keep the way it is...So the time that I come back for filling, she start to fix the crown one by putting more glue to make it stable. Unfortunately, she start to file the real teeth on the left, ( this is the real one, and very nice teeth), this teeth located next to the crown...Well the crown she make is very short, so the next one on the right ( is stick out and the next one on the left is stick out --longer too...Since Dr Loan make the crown is so short, so file the real teeth next to the crown to make it same size and balance to the crown...This make me feel very sad and disappointed . Since, she make the crown is so short compare to next teeth on the right and next teeth on the left...So she start to file the left teeth next to the crown to make same size, (not stick out, not longer ) compare to the crown one...This is the real teeth, why she file so short, just like the kid's teeth... . -2) 2 years ago...she already make another crown on the right side, and she also make the crown is short and she file ( to make short the next teeth to the crown) to make the crown look the same size to the next teeth (but the next teeth is the real teeth)....I told her, don't touch or file any real teeth to make it short like the baby teeth and look ugly..I don't want she file or make it shorter any real teeth..She lies to me and said she don' touch any real teeth....and I can't ask her to follow my own demand. Other place the dentist is very good heart to ask the client how short or how long or what color to make the client satisfy..But she is different...She want the client obey her way... - She already file my 2 real tooth to make it short,, . She is not allow to file any real teeth to make it short. ,Because when she make the crown is short , and she use the trick way to file the next teeth short to make it the same size with the crown. that really make me feel sad and disappointed..She is not allow to do that... She is not allow to file any real teeth She wasted my time and file my real teeth so short, look ugly and just like the baby's teeth. .. she made it worst than before I wish I don't come to her office at the beginning !!! I hardly leave any comments on here because I do not want to ruin anyone businesses.. unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review here to warn other people. I got my fillings done here by dr. Loan. I had to come back there 3 times to check on my teeth on the fillings that she did... the first time, after I got my fillings done, I can't eat.. it hurts so bad that I had to come back the next day.. dr. Loan filed down my teeth and said I'm good to go.. I was still in pain for another week still cannot eat.. I came back the second time and she said I should wait for another week. It is very common for the teeth to ache like that after the fillings. Then I waited another week, yet the pain is still there.. it hurts so bad that I can't even sleep or eat.. I came back there the third time, she said my teeth is too sensitive and gave me some meds. Unfortunately, a week had past and I'm still in pain. I couldn't stand to come back there again and she would tell me the same answer when I know something is wrong with my teeth, the teeth that she put the filling in. So I went to a different dentist and found out that the filling she did was too big and made my tooth cracked causing an infection. I wish I haven't gone to her in the first place, now I have to go to a specialist to get treated. She wasted my time and couldn't fix my teeth.. she made it worst than before I come and see her!!!! I've came here since I was a kid...i still remember them yelling at me and saying they would lock me in the cabinet if I didn't stop crying. LOL....and yes the same lady who said that still works there. Anyways, I only came here because it was close and I get to buy banh bo after. Workers are nice but very asian....last time I went, three different people pronounced my name three different ways and none were even close to my real name. There is also no privacy...all the dental chairs are right next to each other in one room. I usually don't mind but I wish people weren't all staring at me when I was getting my wisdom teeth pulled out. The dentists are not friendly or talkative at all. They never told me what they were going to do. I had many baby teeth pulled out, cavities filled, and other dental work done that I was never told about until I figured out what was happening by myself. Very scary when you're a kid ! I changed to a way better dentist now that I'm older. read more

So... after being traumatized as a child at the dentist, my mom switched me to another dentist--when I was 10 years old--that is 30 miles away because my dad goes here and he likes it. When I first came here, I was scared because I didn't know what they were going to do. I eventually got over the fear a couple years later. I stayed with them ever since. I even flew to the Bay Area to get my check ups from them! Until I decided I wanted pre-orthodontic care before a surgery I am pursuing.. This means I can't go to the office every month because I go to school in SoCal. They definitely gained my trust. I just felt so sorry for them because they had to work on the most COMPLEX teeth cases ever! MINE! So I am sad to say that I cannot go here anymore because of my location and it's going to be really hard to find another trustworthy dental office. The office is definitely a preference thing. Some people don't like it, some don't mind. I didn't mind at all--as long as I get work done on my teeth. There is minimal privacy, but I didn't really care. But this place is in Lion Plaza and there's so much good food around. read more

Walking out of this place makes you feel like you have just been robbed. Came in for a tooth removal. They booked me for a teethcleaning saying they can do the teeth removal after the cleaning. The doctor comes in, no even a nod to acknowledge me as a patient depite me saying good evening to her. She clean my teeth which took like 5 minutes then inform me that they cant remove my teeth here and suggest me to a specialist. Wow, really? It happen for a long ago when I just came to America... but I still remember .... This is not a good place . They just want to eat all your insurance . Work is not really good . One time , I have a teeth that can save in stead of take away ....but she insist in that she can not do any things excepts take it out ... Later on i asked another dentist and found out that if it can be save by do a root canal , then cover on top ... From the time of losing one tooth , when i ate something , the foods are easier to put in the middle of any teeth ... It caused me a real hard times for a long time ... She numbed all the wrong parts of my mouth until I literally had to scream in pain. I don't think she even knew what she was doing because my appointment was at 2:30 and it was 4:30 already and she still didn't finish but they had to see another patient but so she just filled the tooth and said I had to make a 3rd appointment!!! If they knew I would take that long (which she should have known because this my second appointment for my root canal) then they shouldn't have booked someone else. I live in Davis so I have to drive 2 hours to just go see her. Also, my friends and evesaid when they had to get a root canal, their dentist did everything in one appointment in an hour. Not to mention she kept commenting on how ugly my ripped jeans were (unprofessional) and everyone kept gossiping in Vietnamese and I already had a huge headache cause I've been sitting there for over 2 hours with nothing fixed and my tooth was still in pain. Do not go here, worst place ever. They're very unprofessional. I had an appointment and when I got there I was denied my cleaning because the receptionist did not do her due diligence when checking my insurance information. Over the phone she said everything was good and when I got there she said I was not eligible. So I wasted my time driving there, waiting and then arguing. I've gone here for over 15 years, you would think they would be able to get my information correct. I will no longer be going here and I hope none of you do too. read more
