This is the 2nd IdentoGO location I've been in the greater Charlotte area. Both locations were staffed by people that were too indifferent to care that you were there or to even explain a check in process. Came to get finger prints for some federal licenses. A shame that I couldn't just go to UPS where they are trained how to speak with customers. read more

Recommended by CWP instructor. 3 weeks to get an appointment. When I got there they apologized for double booking todays appointments. Had to wait 40 minutes past my appointment time. They asked for my DD214; I explained they didn't really need it because I did the shooting part of the course but since they had a question on their paperwork asking if I was a veteran I had to answer yes. They scanned in my DD214 and I assumed it went with my package. 4 weeks later I receive a letter from SLED in Columbia requesting a copy of my DD214. 3 calls to Identogo to find out why my paperwork wasn't submitted along with my fingerprints only to be ignored and told they'd have a supervisor call me back. No one returned my call. Last person I talked to said they didn't need my DD214 and it was only used to verify my military service since I answered yes on their sheet. I explained that you wouldn't use a DD214 to verify that and that a DD214 wasn't something they're entitled to possess and I wanted to know what they had done with my DD214. They refused to answer my questions, only to insist they didn't submit it with my paperwork because I was supposed to send that to SLED on my own. I called SLED in Columbia and talked to a gentleman that reviewed my package and noticed Identogo had labeled my DD214 as a miscellaneous document. The system didn't recognize the miscellaneous document as my DD214 so it kicked out my application. SLED properly labeled my DD214 and all is well. I made an appointment for TSA precheck. It took me an hour one way to get to this place. When I arrived, the girl working there told me that the woman doing my interview had left for lunch or an appointment and that I would have to come back in an hour and 20 minutes. She was not apologetic at all and would not give me the names or numbers of any supervisors. I ended up wasting 2.5 hours of my day for nothing with not even an apology. read more

I'm giving 4 stars because of the level of service I received today, but I could see why others would give a lower rating based on what I've seen and my experiences up until this point. During my first attempt to visit this location, they late canceled my appointment (less than 2 hours prior) due to an unforeseen circumstance. I didn't see it in time, so I drove all the way there to find out my appointment was canceled and I'd have to reschedule. The second time, they accepted me as a walk-in even though I was a few minutes past the cut-off (which I was not aware of). The staff is friendly and the process is quick (5-10 minutes). Writing a review to help others as some information about this location is inaccurate or difficult to find. The phone number listed is a call center, there is no direct line. The call center does not have accurate information either. They take walk-ins for TSA PreCheck during the week, the last one they'll accept is at 3:30pm. They close at 5:00pm. By the way, the air conditioning has since been fixed which is a relief during the peak of summer. read more

Was able to do a walk in at 9 am and I was done with my TSA PRE CHECK within 30 mins. I even got my KTN Number for pre check within 48 hours after finger printing read more

My wife scheduled an appointment for this place and was greeted by a rude employee who told her to leave and reschedule because they "were closed". When my wife informed them of her appointment confirmation the employee shrugged her shoulders and said "You should have got a cancellation email". My wife received the cancellation email 7 minutes AFTER this encounter (how convenient). When I called the company to complain and reschedule an appointment for my wife, the next time they could see her was at the end of June after her travel date...after I told management about my issue their response was "It's the federal government...what can you do". This place made 0 attempt to reschedule my wife in an appropriate time frame due to THEIR error. This is a private company...not the federal government....but they sure do their best to act like them! read more

Surprisingly easy and efficient. Made an appointment, arrived on time. There was no waiting, they took care of me right away and I was out in 10 minutes. They told me about how long it would take to complete my process and their estimate was very accurate. Something that could take months only took 21 days to complete. Worth every penny. So the first week of March I looked for appts. It was a crazy long wait until the next available appt. Scheduled it for a Saturday in early April (and paid for it), since I had work during the weekdays. Show up to my appt. like 20mins early just incase I needed to do anything prior, nope they were closed so it was a wasted trip. Rescheduled my appt. for almost a month later again the next closest appt. So Its the big day, time to go to my my rescheduled appt which i took off work to go to this time figured maybe less chance for them to be closed during the week days. Get there and am told"Oh we don't see an appt, here is the number to call customer service and see what we can do." "Hi thanks for calling customer service how can I help?" Told the lady what the situation was. "Oh thats terrible. Yea I don't see your appt. either I can reschedule you for May 19th" (another month away). So I ended up talking to her manager after being told all I can do is book you for an appt on the 19th. The manager told me "oh you must not have fully booked it. " I filled everything in and hit continue got a verification of date, time, location. Hit the confirm button and was sent back to the schedule an appt. page like everything was finished. Never got an email with a verification code which I thought was odd but since it was a rescheduled appt. I figured it was just using my original verification code. "Oh I'm sorry must have been a glitch in our system. I can't do anything about that sorry, no way I can get you an appt today. I can reschedule you for the 19th though." So here I am 2 months since first scheduling an appt. with no fingerprints taken. Not even sure about the people that work at this location itself, I just know the company itself is not professional can't even keep appt which is not their fault they use a glitchy system, it is ours since we scheduled it‍. The customer service is crap all they do is make you wait on hold forever just to tell you, oh theres nothing I can do but reschedule you in a month from now. Yea if you absolutely do not have to go to them DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, literally thats all they seem to be doing wasting my time, gas, money. read more

This is the WORST option you have for service. PERIOD. Go with anything else possible.

I went here today with my sister who was getting fingerprinted for a insurance license. First we get a call saying they were going to be closed today because of the weather as we are sitting in the parking lot. About that time a lady comes up and opens the door. We get out along with about 6 other people and go inside. My sister just asks the lady if they were going to be doing fingerprinting, unaware that that's all they do. The lady very rudely responds with "I wouldn't be here otherwise, that's all we do", then laughs as if my sister were some sort of idiot. My sister explained about the call she got and that's why she asked. The lady proceeds to tell her she didn't listen to the call correctly, that they were not going to be closed. The lady was so rude my sister and I walked out and she rescheduled for another day. There was no reason the lady should have acted like this. They really need to look into hiring someone with better customer service skills and with more manners! read more

When I showed up to my appointment, the employees were locking up. I told them I had an appointment. That is when they told me there system was down for the day. I told them why would they make my appointment that late if the system is turned down. Then they informed me that the system had been down since 2:30. I asked how come no one called me to inform me about this before I drove 50 minutes out of my way to get it done. The employees replied that they called customer service and got into their cars and left. When I called customer service they had no report of the system being down and the rep was rude to me by telling me I have to get my fingerprinting done and I must reschedule my appointment. I will never use this company again! They have poor customer service and employees who don't want to work! read more

The process is quick and simple, i made appt. on line and had confirmation ; and the clerk said that it wasn't on her TSA print out and was treated as a walk-in, and then she called someone ahead of me that had missed their appointment, and called another person ahead of me and when I questioned her she referred to me acting as a sixth grader. read more
