Neighborhood Gem. I was visiting a friend who's resided in the area for 30 years. She's very hard to impressed. Took a jaunt (.5) mile walk to check out this bright, airy, and immaculate social spot. Weather grabbing a bite, meeting up, studying or simply grabbing a bite you'll be satisfied. The table next to me got a panini with fries and a bowl. Both were gorgeous and deliciously plated with dinner sized portions. I, however, kept it simple. I got pancakes without blueberries, 1 egg, and bacon. Everything is a la cart. I was expecting Big Box pancakes. These were anything but! They were perfectly cooked with a light crisp, very dense but airy. Vanilla sewn in each bite. They were THICK too. I was pleasantly surprised. Initially thought the price was exorbitant but the taste and appeal made up for it. Eggs were scrambled to perfection and seasoned too. I requested salt before I tasted them. So glad I didn't add any. Bacon was regular nothing major to rotate. Now the Sakura Latte wasn't as pretty as the one on Insta but it was delicious none the less. Not sweet but no earthy either. Cherry after taste but smooth due to the milk. I did add a sugar free vanilla syrup. The Cafe is beautiful. Contemporary and masculine furniture with feminine accompaniment due to the vast windows and pillows that let in a lot of natural light. Its definitely worth a stop if you're near. I really enjoyed my visit. read more

Lovely spacious cafe in a residential neighborhood with lots of natural sunlight and options for comfortable cushioned seating. Service was friendly and efficient and they offer a full service menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had the potato leek soup and it was delicious . What a pleasant surprise. Ive been coming to Ididos for coffee for a while as one of the best coffee shops in the area. I never considered until today to try the food when j overheard a fellow patron talk about how good it was. As a big skeptic of coffee shop food, I was son the fence on if I would try it. But then I though about it. I had been in the shop for 4 hours after only having a Chai while reading a book. I was hungry. And I was here. I grabbed a menu from the front and was initially hesitant of the prices but decided to do it anyway. Biy am I glad I did. I got the steak sandwich on gluten free bread and it was delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection with seasoning. The bread was toasted to just the right crisp. I loved it. Ive known Id be coming back for coffee, but now I know I'll be coming back for food as well. read more

This coffee shop is about a year old and is new here in the neighborhood. It is about 3 blocks, or so, away from Howard Latin Academy. It's a wonderful place to enjoy coffee, food, smoothies, tea, and pastries. The moment we walked in we were welcomed at the door, the woman at the register was smiling and very helpful for any questions that we had. The vibe in here is relaxing, chill, and family and professional oriented. This place is a classy and new neighborhood coffee lounge with breakfast/lunch = brunch options for food and drink. They have fresh citrus water with lemon & lime slices available at the front order pickup counter. We ordered: The Burger The Spinach and Feta Pastry Caprese Toast Hot Mocha Latte Green Smoothie Bottled Apple Juice We found a spot (the last one in the place) for 3 at the back near the restrooms to sit. There were business professionals working and meeting, families, single people, teachers on break, and us out of town Californians all here enjoying the vibe of this place. Overall, WONDERFUL experience. Customer service is amazing here. The restrooms are both very clean. The whole establishment is well thought out and clean. Our food was DELICIOUS. Crossing the border into the city, Arlington-born Ididos Coffee is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Walking in on a Wednesday morning, the space was filled with people reading, working, and even a new parent group connecting. It filled the space with good energy! They have a full coffee menu and food items too. My latte was strong and well balanced. To eat, I loved the feta and spinach pastry. To spice it up, I added sriracha from the condiment bar. The space lets natural light in and is designed well. Two bathrooms are in the back, but ask the friendly staff for the code before you walk back. Really cute spot and really great prices. They had a mixture of small tables and large tables, and the staff were all very nice. We got the Main and the bagel with lox (that came with potatoes or a small salad). Both were delicious and very generous portions. For drinks we got the iced chai (which was pretty mediocre- it tasted mostly like milk) and the iced caramel latte with oat milk (which was very good). Would definitely come back again! read more

I cannot rave enough about Idido's, the owners, the staff, and especially the food/drinks and the wonderful ambience. I had the Salmon Salad, and it was absolutely delish. I've thought of it multiple times since and am looking forward to my next visit to Idido's. The Matcha Latte is one of my favorites too. In my personal view, Idido's is a café that is unique: it's a place to make friends, eat nourishing and delicious food, and soak in the overall good vibes. I realised just as I was leaving after a long visit while working that it is Ethiopian-run, and when I later looked up the name, I saw it was associated with some kind of coffee company in Ethiopia. Very friendly staff, truly excellent cappuccino (I don't say that often), and my order of a yoghurt bowl was not only yummy but super-pleasing on the eye. It's a lovely, fairly large space in the Manor Park neighbourhood, with a mix of cushioned seating at very large windows and traditional chairs-and-tables seating further in. Even though the menu wasn't Ethiopian, it attracted a number of customers from that community--likely network effects. All in all, a nice spot to keep in mind! read more

I work in the area and have visited Ididos twice so far. On my first visit, I had a vanilla latte and the turkey bacon and egg sandwich -- both were absolutely delicious. On my second visit, I tried a blueberry scone along with another vanilla latte, and it was just as good. The café has a warm, inviting atmosphere with a relaxed vibe.
