Luckily the experience I had once I found the new store made up for that annoyance. I came here to get a new DVR box as after troubleshooting it seemed my current one stopped working correctly. The store is brand new and gorgeous. It almost does not feel like an actual store at all, with bright modern features and showcasing all their technology. There are items to purchase such as things for a smart home (bulbs, etc). The customer service rep I worked with was super knowledgeable and friendly making a bad situation better. I have been having off and on problems with my account for quite some time and this most recent incident had worn me thin. She took a thorough look at my account and all the issues id experienced and talked to me in depth about them. She credited my account for the most recent troubles, issued me a new DVR box, and even lowered my monthly bill overall. I think from now on I will head straight to the store and by pass 1800 customer service whenever possible. In this instance my problem was solved and my new DVR works great!

Customer service Chat rep, Aimee said she "sincerely apologized" but said there was nothing she could do. This incident, while only $5/month is exactly why I don't trust Spectrum/Time Warner.

First they raise your internet rate every couple months with no explanation. Then when you go to…read morecancel, they suddenly are willing to work with you on lowering your bill and give you the run around so you won't cancel. Then when you cancel in a billing cycle, they don't send you a statement for what is supposed to be your last bill. They just send you to collections. Then when you call them out on it, they try to gaslight you saying they did send you statements by sending you one in the middle of the call that somehow gets through to your email when all the others in the past failed. Don't give them your business. Spectrum is ran and operated by a bunch of crooks.

And we were given it. However, we were told that they would pay up to $500 to pay off devices. I was thrilled. We just bought Deb's phone and owed some on it. Well, her number ported over just fine. However, mine would not port for some reason. After over 2 hours of waiting, I just threw in the towel, bought a new phone (that I didn't need) and got a new number. Guess what? This invalidated the payoff money. So, by trying to be nice and save frustration for their people, I lost the $500. I have spoken with various levels of management. They all say the same thing. Nothing can be done. To say I am angry is an understatement. SPECTRUM SCREWS CUSTOMERS
