Let me extend my appreciation to Ian. It was his personal involvement that got my credit resolved…read more I do NOT believe there is a systemic effort by ICB to defraud customers. When I sent my last email to ICB asking to cancel the sale after I returned the item, I wasn't asked for specific credit card info to issue the credit. Had I been asked, I would have provided that info immediately. Strictly as a consumer, my assumption was that ICB could void a sale after return of merchandise. But, as a surprise to his staff and me, that's not the case. Nobody (apparently) besides Ian knew this fact. As I watched the days tick by with no response, I decided to employ the BBB and State Atty General's office for leverage. That worked. As soon as Ian heard of my complaint, he did work to rectify it, and got it done. I thank him for that. And he said he has educated employees on how to issue credits, and that goes to his credit. There is not really a way for me to know to contact Ian if I have a problem. Again, this is an unfortunate incident. His staff and I failed to correctly read the nomenclature on a box. His staff failed to bring a return of merchandise issue to his attention. I was not asked for my CC info for a credit from ICB until 6/5/17. Of course I provided that info. The sale was 5/17/17. So to hear nothing from the return date of 5/22/17 till 6/8/17 I shall leave to your interpretation. Yes, I believe that Ian acted as soon as he was informed. Was a credit issued 18 days after a return appropriate? I'll let you decide. Thanks.
