This place is 5 ! I took the classes to become a certified lash and permanent makeup artist. They do a great job at teaching how to do it. You get to work on a model for the eyebrows, but not lashes. Deanna and Allena are amazing. They were extremely helpful from start to finish and they continue to help me when needed. The bonus of being a student is that you get a few months of free chair rental after you complete the class. That has been extremely helpful since building my business has been a slow process. I am updating my review a little over a year later, my brows are gone I mean literally absolutely completely gone. I still Give them 3 stars because I was extremely happy when they were done, Diana was very sweet and warm But now they are just my regular skin color. I messaged to see how much to retouch and she said $250. That's pretty steep for a years worth of brows. I got my eyebrows done at IE microblading as a model by one of the students with the assistance of The owner and another person and they turned out great!! Everyone was very nice and made me feel very comfortable. It is now a year later and I was inform that for the yearly touch up I would need to pay full price as if I am a new client with fresh brows even though my eyebrows were done at her place of business. I guess it needs to be done by the same person. I feel like that shouldn't apply for models because the student may not finish the class in some cases. Or continue to work at that location. It should be a courtesy to charge the same touch up fee for continuing customers. I would have given 5 stars if not for these disappointing business practices. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about this Academy! After almost 6 months of reading reviews and looking at the pros and cons about IE, it made sense to go there as a student. I learned a lot, it wasn't easy going right after work for 16 hour days but it was a great experience and worth the money and time invested. I am so looking forward to continuing my career journey with microblading/shading and IE. As a customer, I was actually a model for one of the students there. She was amazing since the get go so I was very lucky to have had a great touch up and addition of strokes with shading. The help both Deanna and Allena give you is exceptional! Each morning, I have to see what was done to me and I decided to repost photos of the work done by the owner Deanna. The work speaks for itself! After much thought, I am disappointed that the owner, Deanna, never contacted me personally despite the fact that I reached out to the business regarding my concerns twice. I have TWO different eyebrows. Not only did I pay $500.00 for this, I am now forced to pay about three times that amount to have my eyebrows removed with a saline solution, which will take months to undo.
