I am giving this place 3 out of 5 stars One star because the place was clean and organized and set up well with proper stations and seats etc. Another star because I like that there is a store at the front and the front staff is great. The other Star because I appreciate the owner is an actual talented makeup artist and has over 20 years of experience. I can't give a full five stars because the program was set up really weird. I understood it was a Sunday class (great sounds convenient) It was like 5 consecutive weeks in a row with a two week break in between but each class I understood was Sundays from 8:30am to 5pm or 9 to 6 (or something to that affect with an hour lunch) BUT literally I DID NOT get out of there until after 10 PM sometimes midnight, not only did this inconvenience my whole family (and I have little kids that are in elementary school) it threw off our whole week. I might add, being in a class for that long as a student ...I wasn't even retaining any of the information after hour six. I don't think this type of learning is beneficial for anybody (in my opinion). I think the classes should be broken up and spread out and maybe no more than six hours per class. It would be even great to do like a four hour class. After that all the information I learned I did not retain, unfortunately. And if you try to leave early, they made it feel like a big deal and it was frowned upon. It was a stressful bummer. Other than that, I think it was a great program. I like the products that they used that I bought from them When I signed up, I understood the cost of the program was one price and then the kit was an extra thousand, but it was "optional"...BUT when you get there, it's very obvious that you have to use the products that they have you buy from them. I saw one girl bring her kit, but she wasn't using it. They asked her to buy their kit and use that one. We had to use all the makeup that they provided which was great Makeup. (when you buy the kit, it comes together you don't have to purchase anything individually, which I thought was great). BUT if you're on a budget, this is probably not the program for you. My total investment was around $4500. I attended in Aug 2024. I like that at the end we got a certificate and they had a little graduation that was really fun. Also a few times they bought us pizza or burritos which was nice and unexpected. I appreciated that as well. read more

Please do your research before paying or attending this school! They are not accredited from the state of California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education and California Board of Cosmetology. Thank God that I did my researched and did not signed up and pay their expensive tuition. Their classes starts at $3500 on up. Any previous or former students call and email the board to report them. The board's website is www.bppe.ca.gov or call them at (916) 431-6959 to report that they are still illegally operating without the boards' approval to conduct their school as a p . I have attached pictures of the denial letter from the BPPE. Also that is the reason why they took down their website is they are trying too fool the BPPE that they are no longer operating their makeup school. Any previous students that have paid for their school contact the board. There's a lot of their former students that have filed a complaint with the BPPE already with proof of their illegal operation from their Instagram page and Facebook page advertising their school and classes offering unapproved make class and hair classes without the boards approval from the BPPE and Board of Cosmetology. The BPPE is opening a full investigation against them again as I was told they have all the evidences from their business and personal Instagram pages. I can't imagine paying over $4k for a worthless certification from a school that's not even accredited and is illegally operating without the the BPPE and Boards of Cosmetology approvals of accredited school. All the previous students that paid for this illegal school should reach out to the boards to get your refunds back on the tuition. Also all the negatives reviews are being removed from Yelp. Just speaking the truth. read more
