I should have listened to friends and family when I was told not to come to Dr. Infantis. It's all about the money before the service. I came here to have my teeth straightened. After the first phase, one day Dr. Infantis tells me "Well, what do you think?" as he hands me a mirror. I asked, "ummm I'm a little confused. Are you asking what I think of my teeth? As in this is my last appointment?" He said "yes" with a smile. I replied, "But my teeth are not straight." Dr. Infantis says, "I mean...they're straight-er." I said, " I didn't pay for straight-er, I paid for straight PERIOD." He then asked if I gave him a couple thousand dollars more he can make my teeth straight. I said I don't understand as I paid the full amount to receive perfectly straight teeth which is what I was promised during my first consultation as well as a built in retainer once complete. Dr. Infantis then checked with Susan at his front desk and in fact verified that I paid more than he thought. He apologized and continued the process. At another appointment that I went to, towards the end he was using a cotton ball to clean off my face from some work he did. He kept heavily rubbing on a spot on my face, which began burning and was hurting, him thinking it was dirty but it was an imperfection in my skin, a dark spot. What he did hurt and made me feel very self-conscious. I started questioning his vision if it was somewhat impaired because another appointment Dr. Infantis said I had about 7-10 cavities that I needed to take care of asap. He also kept pressuring me to get my teeth cleaned by him as well. Because he's expensive, I decided to go to a different dentist for a teeth cleaning and get a second opinion on my teeth. The other dentist said I do not have any cavities, not even one! Thank goodness I went to receive a second opinion. This was a HUGE red flag for me. I then recognized that my dentist made me promises he was never planning to keep but just wanted to lock me in and try to scam me out of more money later. I felt very uncomfortable and taken advantage of. After that I had decided to discontinue the process as I wasn't receiving results and no longer trusted Dr. Infantis. I stopped making appointments, and after some time I made an appointment to have the buttons removed from my teeth that he installed at the very least. As they called me into a room and I was laying in the seat until Dr. Infantis arrived, he begins to insult me pointing his finger in my face stating I make multiple appointments and never show up. I told him he was completely false and I have never "No Showed" to an appointment and he made me cry and humiliated me. I went to speak to his front desk girls and they verified once again that he misunderstood and I have always shown up to my appointments but that I stopped making them. I expressed that I stopped making appointments because I was not receiving the service that was promised to me , I lost trust in the doctor and I just wanted to be done with him. He also promised he would add a built in retainer which I paid for and did not receive. I was supposed to receive a call back 2 weeks ago to give me a partial refund for the services I was not provided, yet I paid for. I have not received any communication, not a call, text, or email. They last told me the Finance person who handles the books needed to look at things, which is Dr. infantis's wife. Save your money, your time, your teeth and go somewhere else. I am very disturbed, traumatized and hurt by this experience. read more

Wish I could give negative stars and a red stop sign. This is in response to a post I saw a few days ago. I'm grateful people are willing to share their negative review of this practice because I regret not sharing my experience earlier as I'm still dealing with the negligence of their service. It's worries me that not sharing sooner would've allowed others to experience what I'm experiencing. I too was told that I had in excess of 7 cavities and needed a specific gum bacterial laser to treat them. BIG MISTAKE! Not only did this cost me thousands of dollars to be billed by insurance, they immediately had me sign a waiver that I would be responsible for what insurance does not pay. I asked why they wouldn't just seek approval beforehand from insurance. I told them I did not feel comfortable signing and they still proceeded with work. And the next, main problem was Not only did they create pain, botch the work, I don't believe that I had cavities. I had uncontrollable pain, unable to chew, talk, sleep so I went back for my second visit to complete the work. Dr Ifantis denied that I needed another visit, retook X-rays and said these were new problems that I needed more work on. When I deceived to go to a different dentist I asked for copies of my X-rays and they tried to convince me that no scans were taken. Even if that were true, which I knew for certain wasn't true because I took pictures of the scans they had on display on the screen as well as I WAS THE PERSON WHOM THE SCANS WERE TAKEN OF (idiots). They even did a CT scan of my mouth even before being examined (which should've been a red flag). Did they not realize that shows their negligence. Why would you diagnose and perform work on cavities you don't X-ray? He exhausted my insurance claim max for the year (my estimated cost for procedure was slightly above that total, what a BIG coincidence). I ended up finding out immediately that I had an infection. That was just the beginning, I'm still dealing with their malpractice and will never have pain free teeth unless I do implants to replace them. I'm so upset that I ever walked into their office. Just walking into the office I should've walked right back out. They have, on both occasions, had at least 8 patients in chairs at the same time with the 2 doctors bouncing room to room. They were capitalizing on time and sacrificing patient care in my opinion. Dr Singh did most of the care and required Ifantis to review every step of the way. Again, should've changed my mind after that scenario presented itself as showing how inexperienced or that she was not capable of performing the procedure solo. Also, Dr Monica stated that she is a professor and teaches dental students. Her course focuses on pain management during these procedures. If this is true I'm not able to find this information anywhere online. But why would a professor of dentistry require oversight from another dentist if she should be proficient in this work? read more

This dental office is horrible. First I waited in the waiting room for awhile. Then the dental hygienist couldn't figure out how to get the X-rays to works so she took extra. She was the slowest hygienist I have ever had and would not clean my teeth right away. The two dentist that worked there suggested I get a periodontal treatment for over $700. I am in my 20's and after getting a second opinion I realized they were just trying to get money. They did not clean my teeth and took over an hour. I go a bill for $54 for the X-rays even though I have insurance. Don't go here! read more

My mother came here and experienced a DENTAL NIGHTMARE!! They tried to do an impression and he left my mother with an inexperienced assistant who basically ripped 4 teeth from her mouth. The asst. tried to pull the impression straight down and kept pulling and pulling until my mom screamed in so much pain and agony. The asst. didn't know what to do and screamed for help, for someone to help her. The other asst. ran in and told her hat she needs to wiggle the impression side to side to take it off. By then, Dr Ifantis had run out of the office building when the ordeal happened -(witnessed by my father) and when he was confronted about it the next time, he simply said "Sometimes, things happen like this." He even did 2 fillings on the 2 teeth that a previous dentist told her, should be pulled, but he persuaded her to keep them, saying he could save them...only to injure those 2 and 2 more. She needed partials and after 6 grueling months, she came out with useless partials that were uneven, too tight, and she kept biting her inner cheeks with them. They were completely useless and hideous looking. When she complained multiple times, he kept saying his infamous words - "We'll see, next time." The frustration, pain, loss of time and money to do it all over again with a different dentist is totally inexcusable. Above all, she went through so much excruciating pain, lost financially, and couldn't eat for the longest time. When I confronted him and his office management, they refused to help or pay with the new partials that she had to get elsewhere, not to mention, all the pain and trauma she had experienced. She took the time to review findings and diagnoses and prioritized educating me about my oral health and helping me prevent dental issues She explained her recommendations and treatment plan clearly by walking me through X-rays and photos. I have been a patient of Ifantis Dental for well over 10 years. During that time, they transformed me from a patient who was utterly terrified to someone who was visiting old friends. Well my last visit shouldn't have surprised me, but it did. I was 3 months late for my routine cleaning and I was completely and utterly terrified. I convinced myself that this was the time everything would go bad. Well I couldn't have even more wrong! My anxiety lessened as I was warmly greeted at the desk by several of the staff including Dr John. Kasia took me to her station. She immediately relaxed me with her warm and comforting approach. Was referred by a family friend I've hated going to dentist for so long because of my anxiety and a horrible experience 10 years ago but not with Dr.Ifantis. I've been going to him for the last 5 years not as much as I should because of being busy but finally got in and did a deep cleaning and getting Invisalign which he gave me a better price then anyone else. Best experience I've ever encountered at any dental office! From the beginning, I felt a warm welcoming from the assistants. They made me feel very comfortable and secure even before I explained my fear with dentists due to prior bad experiences with other dentists in my past. Doctor Ifantis is an amazing dentist! I was having issues with a molar with a very deep and complicated infection and he handled my oral surgery with the utmost care. My anxiety was through the roof due to going somewhere else the day prior and being injected 7 times and traumatized and still no fix. Was there this morning with a $39 coupon. It said cleaning, x-rays and exam. What a comeon! His assistant took the x-rays and then he said I need a deep cleaning and estimate was $1100. She goes the extra mile and takes pride in her work and takes pride in making you comfortable while working on your teeth and getting the work done in an efficient and focused manner. I had a complicated procedure that was overlooked by my prior dentist after three different visits. Given Dr. Infantis' great state-of-the-art technology and surgical expertise (both literally and figuratively), he was readily able to identify and triangulate the issue and conduct the oral surgery all in one visit. He was extremely patient, kind, caring and excellent with respect to pain management and pre- and post-op guidance as well. I came across this dental office through an online emergency dental care. My gold filling came off two days before going on vacation and I needed someone to help me out temporarily. It sounded to me that Dr. Ifantis has purchased a very expensive, state-of-the-art machine that'll produce a new tooth in 1.5 hours and he was more concerned with pitching his product to me than listening to my dilemma of having this tooth problem two days before I go on vacation. He quoted me an amount that I wasn't prepared to pay, and immediately pitched in what financial arrangements he could make available if I cannot pay. I felt so insignificant, like I'm just another mouth who could support his brand new equipment. I don't even think he understood my predicament at all and I felt that I had no option but to take what he was offering. That's why I walked out. If this dentist had said to me, "look, I understand you need this fixed temporarily right now because you're going away in a couple of days. How about we fix this temporarily now, and you come back next week and we'll tell you what your options are." I would have come back, come up with the money and walked out of his office a happy customer. read more

I've had a check up and cleaning done here, and a family member of mine has gotten some extensive dental work done here. He seems very pushy to get you to do treatments right away, and it almost makes you feel like he's a car salesman more than a doctor who's looking out for your health and well being.
