I chipped the edge of my quartz countertop and reached out for a for repair quotes and I am so glad I reached out to David. He was very responsive with the estimate, which was a great rate, offered time the next day to do it (since it was a small job), and communicated clearly that the epoxy would not match exactly to ensure I had to correct expectations. David let me know when he was on his way, just like he said he would, arrived on time, was very tidy and efficient. His repair work was really better than I'd hoped and he is very skilled. He was able to use a piece of the chip that hadn't crumbled to restore at least a portion of the chipped area to the original look and then filled in the rest with an epoxy shade that any visitor would just think was part of the random pattern in the counter. So glad I spotted David's truck on a drive to work and remembered to contact him. Unlike another quote we had, he saw the chips in our especially-fragile (but very attractive) granite. The chips are gone, our kitchen granite is sealed and no longer feels grimy. The marble bath vanity looks new and no longer has the ring left by a previous owner (who used a plunger with drain opener and set the plunger on the marble). When time comes to sell in a few years, these are things a home inspector can find to blow up the deal. David gave a discount for payment by money order instead of plastic and was masked the whole time. Glad he was here solo, given the COVID-19 risks. read more

He picked it up from my house and told me his concerns about the epoxy coating that was on the broken table top. He said he would take it back to the shop and try to repair it. In my opinion, David from iFix Granite is a scam artist and a liar. I paid him over $1700 (more than the original quote) for less than a day's work. He showed up over an hour late and then didn't complete the job. He also said he would have multiple guys doing the work, but he showed up alone. In the guest bathroom, I paid him to restore, polish, and seal the floor and shower. There are two new stains on the floor that weren't there before he started. Then I noticed dust around the toilet plunger. I texted him to ask why he didn't clean and seal the entire floor. He called and first told me that he couldn't do those areas because his machine doesn't fit by the toilet and he would have had to do that area by hand. Certainly my bathroom isn't the only one that his machine doesn't fit by the toilet--I would have expected that area to be done by hand. Then he said he is human and just missed an area. I said there is no way he just forgot that area because he never even moved the items out of the bathroom. He said, "oh, on the left side of the toilet? Yeah, I didn't do that area." He then said "but I did a great job on the showers." I told him it looked like he didn't even do the shower floor in the guest bathroom. He said he didn't do the shower floor because I told him the shower had never been used--but I hired him to do it because it hadn't yet been properly sealed and he charged me for the whole shower!! Absolutely outrageous. read more

David refinished and sealed my 28 year old marble floor in my powder room. The floor was dull, worn and had light scratching and etching. After two and half hours of work, the floor turned out better than brand new! It now has a beautiful, clear polished shine with every marble imperfection removed.
