My son's Xbox was working but no picture on the screen unless the hdmi cord was moved around a certain way so CPR replaced the HDMI port and when the device was picked up they told me my device wouldn't turn on. They said I could pay for more diagnostics and power supply repair to fix what they messed up and other than that I was beat. I brought my phone in to repair it cracked screen I was told that they did not have the Samsung brand but that an off market brand would work 3 weeks later my screen went black and gray I brought my phone in and they said it was covered they just had to order the part it was a Saturday they were going overnight it I never heard back from them come Monday they tell me they needed to take a picture I sent multiple emails now I'm being told that the screen they put on that randomly decided not to work is not covered. The sad part is the entire interaction was done without kindness and I was basically told that I broke the phone even though there isn't a single scratch on it it's stopped working because of a glitch those were his exact words and now they won't cover it if you don't want to throw away $500 then don't go to CPR Olathe not only will you be treated rudely they won't even bother to email you back. If I could give this place a 0 I would. Brought my PS4 pro in on a Sunday for a cleaning and thermal paste replacement. 40 minutes after dropping my unit off, I get a call from Ian telling me while he was disconnecting the power source from the board he broke a power connector. What was supposed to be a couple of hour "you will get back today" job is now on day 3 and waiting for a call from Jacob, someone more skilled at assessing and possibly repairing the damage. To top it off, I will only receive a 10% discount for the service work I brought my unit in for. This amounts to approx $2.50. Due to the chip shortage, PS4 pro machines (new, used, refurb) are difficult to find. HDD size wouldn't matter because I can swap the HDD from my old system which is a 2tb drive to the replacement. But years of game save data is in jeopardy of being lost. Have already been in contact with BBB of greater Kansas City. Just waiting (impatiently) for the call from Jacob to see what will happen to my machine. save yourself money and frustration and: DONT BRING ANYTHING TO CPR CELL PHONE REPAIR of OLATHE FOR REPAIR! After a few minutes of asking, I was finally permitted to start my machine to verify it was working before I left the store. It did and I left. I got it home, hooked up, and it worked for 30 minutes. Brought to another location that had reached out to me on Monday and decided to bring to them to figure out what happened. Everything is videotaped and photographed, but the short answer is a patch job of sub-standard quality. The list of "shortcuts" taken by Jacob (as he indicated he fixed the machine) is numerous. As of this update, I am currently paying out of my pocket $220 to get the machine fixed properly this time. And Justin, the manager, don't worry, I will have no difficulty with staying out of your store in the future. Final update: filing small claims case against CPR of Olathe as a new machine REPLACEMENT found on eBay was $339.00 plus shipping and handling. Totals $400.98. My son was a random victim of murder. The detective returned his phone to me with a shattered screen. I desperately wanted the pictures and other stuff from his phone but needed the screen repaired to do so. I took his phone along with an iphone XR to CPR. I explained the situation and that I only needed to replace the screen to get his pictures so I can cancel service on it. I think I was quoted around $240 for both screens. He said it would take about an hour. Dean from CPR called about 30 minutes later and said there was a problem, the battery on his phone needed to be replaced which would be another $80. I told him I really didn't have the money, and had saved to have the screen done. He said since it would be 2 jobs on this phone he would take $10 off, which would bring the total to $310 plus tax. I told him I only had $300, and could he possibly do it for that instead of $310. He said no he can't, all he can do is deduct $10. I asked if I could call him back after I asked my mom if I could borrow the additional money. He agreed but said I needed to let him know right away because he had the phone still open and once he closed it I wouldn't get $10 off. I was extremely disappointed in his lack of compassion more than refusing to take another $10 off the bill. I understand people's time is worth money, but you can still show understanding whereas he was matter of fact, strictly business. I was already embarrassed that I even had to reveal I only had $300, but I really wanted the pictures and didn't know what else to do. Losing a child to murder is the worst things a parent could face. I guess it hurt my feelings, as I am always ready to help out the person in front of me in line when they might not have enough to pay for their order. read more

Do not buy a new phone yet! I called and spoke to Jacob on Tuesday and went in to order a new screen for my LG wing that I had dropped. I still owe 800 bucks and a new phone would've been at least another 800 on top of that. Short version, they were able to order my screen and overnight it as they had a few others coming in, and they called me Wednesday to drop off my phone. Within 2 hours of dropping it off, it was fixed and ready to go for about $208! MUCH cheaper than buying a new phone and fast and friendly folks there too! read more
