Also now a few days later the screen is glitching out, pressing things on its own and opening up apps by itself and muting phone calls... Sergio is the best. First time I used him he drove to my address the night of the Mayweather v McGregor fight and sat in his car doing a great job repairing my screen while I enjoyed the bout. Scheduled an appointment to get my screen fixed while i was at work the tech never showed up, i contacted the store and asked what was the reason, I was told he forgot that i had an appointment, i was also quoted two different prices , and that they would reschedule me for the next day, in the morning. Still never showed up over the course of 12 hours. I contacted again and was told that they didn't have me down for an appointment at all. I first want to say iFix Star is great! I recently broke my screen on my iPhone XS Max. I know, I know how did I not take better care of such an expensive phone smh. Have you ever put your phone on your lap, forget it was there and then get out of the car? Yes, that's exactly what happened. Soon as I picked my phone up it was totally destroyed. Looked on Yelp and found iFix Star. The customer service was great. They told me it would be done in 20 to 30 minutes. I figured it would take longer but it didn't was done in about 20 minutes. My first review, but it's because I can't say enough about iFix or Sergio! The camera on my phone was already not working, but I had written off fixing that because I had assumed it would be too time-consuming/expensive to fix. But I had also recently cracked my screen, which was making it difficult to text as well. I wish I had come here sooner! Sergio diagnosed the problem immediately, and knew the cause of my texting issues. And when I brought up my camera problems (assuming he couldn't help), he knew the root of those issues too. In the end, he fixed my screen, my texting issues, my camera, AND repaired a previous 'repair' from an untrustworthy Melrose job, in which they didn't reattach the screws, within ten minutes! Instant review! Sergio just left my place. Like 15 minutes ago. One of the BEST experiences I've had with anyone in the repair business. No joke! I drunkenly dropped my iPhone 6+ the other day, smashed the screen AND the LCD, so I could only go through an iPad to find someone reliable to repair it. I am one of those people that finds it difficult to trust my own mother. So, I went through Yelp reviews and saw Sergio's IFix business. It says he comes to your house and fixes your phone in 15 minutes from his car. What? OK, let me read some of these reviews. 5 stars everywhere. Even *other* untrusting people who were blown away. OK, I say to myself, let's see what happens. I message him through Yelp and he gets back to me that evening via Yelp and emails me as well. We couldn't make it work yesterday so I got back to him this morning and we met outside of my place. I literally sat in his front seat (you can stay or go shopping or go back inside...whatever makes you comfortable) and shot the sh*t while he took apart the phone, put in the new screen, and powered it up for me to make sure all was well. In FIFTEEN MINUTES. Everything worked perfectly and I paid him via credit card (under $100!!) from the passenger seat. He said if anything goes wrong just get back to him and he'd fix it for free.
