My son was told one price and left his phone to be fixed and then told another price when he returned to pick it up. My son was upset and the worker was very argumentative with him and totally unprofessional! My son called me to come over because he came back expecting to pay what he had been told and then the price was upped so in the midst of me being on the way to pay, the worker tried to put his hands on my son as if he was going to leave , mall security came in and then KPD, KPD told the worker to shut up and stop talking and let me pay for it. I normally do not like to make bad reviews, but this was TOTALLY unacceptable and I will let anybody I know , know about this place and unethical behavior. SCAMMERS!!!! read more

My teenage daughter and I were incredibly impressed and grateful for the fantastic service we received on 9/29/2020. My daughter had dropped her phone and it was barely functioning. She needed it for some school communications as well as work for an internship that week and was concerned something had been damaged that would require a lot of time and $$ to fix. We couldn't make it to iFix It until close enough to closing time that I figured there was no way we'd have an answer, much less a solution, that evening. But Caleb was there, and he went above and beyond to identify the problem (for the most part it just needed a screen replacement) and then go ahead and handle the repair while we waited, voluntarily and without even asking us about the urgency of the repair. He immediately showed that 1) he could see what the issue was, 2) knew how to fix it, and 3) he cared. It's all too easy these days to find, and then complain about, poor service, or even ok service for that matter. I was so impressed by Caleb's professionalism in fixing the problem with the iPhone, and his willingness to spend the time to go beyond what he may have been required to do. That he was kind and personable all while making the repair was delightful. By the way, this was not my first visit to iFix It at the West Town Mall, and obviously I had enough trust to return for this repair, and now I'll be even more of a loyal customer. I found this place via a Google search as an alternative to going to an Apple Store to replace my iPhone 6 screen as I was leaving out of town and the Apple Store had no open appointments for me to get my screen fixed. Per online prices iFix listed $129. Apple charges $109. I assumed they were capitalizing on this Apple store's busy location and charged a bit more. I was desperate and decided it wasn't that much of a difference. As I was filling out the paperwork it stated $150. I told the employee that the online prices states $129. He replied with, "Those prices haven't been changed yet" and would not honor the price on the site listed. Being desperate, I had no choice: my screen was falling apart. $150 for 15 minutes. To replace my phone via insurance would have been $199. Let's fast forward a few months, I've just broken my screen again. This time I hopped on a plane without fixing it and got it fixed at the Apple Store in Houston, TX. The time it takes to fix at an Apple Store is 1 hour. I asked why. They said there is a 50/50 chance when they take off my screen that my phone will not work and the $109 pays for either a new screen or a new phone. Also, after replacing the screen, they calibrate the phone. I have to admit, my screen is much much more sensitive and responsive since Apple replaced my screen versus iFix. It may be that iFix did not properly install it. I'm not sure. There is quite a gap in price difference - a mistake I will not make again. In the future, hopefully they will lower their prices to be equally competitive and develop some customer service skills. They were less than lacking. read more

I stopped in to ask if they sold wrist straps that attach to phones to help prevent dropping my phone while sightseeing. The salesperson was so nice that he GAVE me a wrist strap that attaches to my cell phone case (he even attached it for me) and when I asked if I could buy another one for my daughter, he gave me a second one. Very friendly and helpful! A couple of years ago, my granddaughter had let her tablet battery completely run down and we couldn't get it to recharge at home. We took it here and they were able to use their charger to get it started for us. Minimal charge for this service. I highly recommend this store if you need help with a phone or tablet. read more

I had a great experience here I don't understand the prior negative reviews. I came to this location after leaving Apple with a faulty computer. They are kind and extremely helpful from the minute you walk in. Even though they didn't have the speciality part in stock that I was looking for they helped me locate the parts I needed online, and explained to me how to fix it on my own to save me a lot of money. I had a crack in my screen that did not interfere with anything, I just wanted to treat myself and get a brand new screen after months of having a cracked one. Well, it def did not go that smoothly at this place. I had to go back THREE times: the first time, a few days after getting it fixed the whole screen went black. The second time my phone started ghost tapping and now my phone is still ghost tapping. I'm having to buy a whole new phone because of this place. I am FURIOUS. My biggest regret is going to this place over Apple. Thought it would be saving me money, but it's actually costing me a fortune. Went in with a perfectly working phone and now am leaving with it constantly glitching to the point where I have to actually purchase a new one. Also, the service I got from one lady (saw her twice) was awful both times- she did not care at all to help me and was extremely rude. All in all, avoid this place at all costs!!! read more

The price was reasonable to get my son's screen repaired, but the guy was a total arrogant butt, and he told us 30-45 min and 2 hours later we went back to see what the problem was, because he was supposed to call my cell phone when they were done, and did not, and all he said was oh yeah its done it's been sitting here. I decided to write one final update. It's Dec 23 ... more than 6 months since my dad took his Samsung tablet in to have the screen replaced. I Fix and Repair has not repaired the tablet and will not offer a refund. My parents are still getting excuses from this excuse of a company. I have NO IDEA how they can possibly stay in business with this kind of customer service. I promise I am not an isolated incident. Please read the reviews that Yelp does not recommend. They are valid reviews, but do not meet Yelp's standard to have them published yet. The service at this place is absolutely terrible. I dropped off an ipad to have the screen replaced. There was no phone call to notify me that it was ready. I finally called them two weeks later to check on it, and they told me it had just been finished. When I went to pick it up, the home button did not work. The representative at the desk told me he would fix it, but it would be another week. A week and a half later, I went back to pick it up. It hadn't been touched. The home button still did not work. The representative opened it up right there on the spot, and there was scotch tape around the inside of the home button. He still could not fix it. He said he would order the part, but it would be, you guessed it, another week to fix it. I'm still waiting. The screens are heavier than the original, and they stick up a little from the body. The service is unprofessional and unfriendly, and overall, just completely unacceptable. By the way, this whole thing happened without anyone mentioning anything about a refund or discount. Also, the attached picture is of someone else's phone that was left in pieces on the desk. Pretty unprofessional, and I surely wouldn't have wanted my phone left like that. read more

To summarize, I've never received worse service including poor communication, obnoxious employees, and horrible quality. I will never give business to iFixandRepair again. I will list the events below: 6/6/17: I pierced the LCD on my Moto Z Play and go to the iFixandRepair West Town Mall location to see if I can get it repaired. I am quoted $168 dollars for the screen, $30-ish dollars for the repair, and with tax, I end up paying $210. While I am signing the paperwork, a family member notices that the employee was just searching up for Moto Z Play screens on Ebay. She is a little concerned but I decide to continue with the repair because I do not have the technical prowess to repair the screen myself. The employee informs me that the screen will be delivered by June 17 and the repair will be completed then. 6/18/17: I never received a call that the phone screen was delivered so I decided to be patient and wait a couple weeks to see if the delivery is just delayed. 7/6/17: I do not remember the exact date so July 6th is approximate. Never received a call that the screen was delivered so I go back to the store to check. The employee informs me that the phone order was canceled and never renewed. He tells me that my order fell through the cracks because of my patience and he will order a different screen. I am told that the phone will arrive around July 15th. 7/15/17: The phone screen finally gets delivered and I get the phone back with the repaired screen. The phone looks good as new and I believe that the job is done. 7/17/17: Within a couple days of the phone getting repaired I started getting issues. First, the phone started boot looping for hours on end, an issue I did not have before the repair. Second, the adhesive between the screen and the chassis has broken and the screen has broken off the phone in several areas. I take the phone back to the store, asking for another replacement screen and for them to fix the boot looping. They inform me that at this point, their contract with me has already been fulfilled and any future efforts will be sorely for public relations. I am quite frustrated at this point but decide to wait for another screen to be delivered. 8/17/17 (Approximate): At this point, I had forgotten about my phone for roughly three weeks. Halfway through August I remember about my phone and call the store for an update. They inform me that the phone screen was delivered but came broken. They said that they ordered another phone screen that will be delivered soon. 8/28/17 (Approximate): I call once again asking for an update on the phone screen. They inform me that the broken screen must be returned first so the delivery has been postponed. 9/6/17: At this point, I've lost all faith that iFixandRepair will complete the repair so I request a refund for the whole sum. I've never received worse service ranging from lack of communication, obnoxious employees, and horrible quality. I will never give business to iFixandRepair again, I suggest you do the same. read more

I went to I fix and Repair to get the screen on my I-pad fixed. A "24 hour repair" took 9 days! 4 or 5 different "completion dates" promised with little communication from the store. The "manager", Dave, promised me many things and never followed through. Not only that, he had a bad attitude and took no ownership of his poor, poor "customer service". He had an excuse for everything. He is not only a bad manager, he is a substandard employee. Read the reviews on this business, DO NOT GO THERE. The store is full of indifferent idiots who make excuses and fail to deliver every day. It must get exhausting running your business like this! No response from the corporate office or the "owner" listed on BBB. The corporate office is as unprofessional as the store itself. C+ rating at the BBB and not accredited. Worst company I have ever done business with. Customer service is terrible-Covid does not prevent phone calls. My phone was never repaired. Upon first doing business with this company, I was very patient and understanding due to Covid closures and potential shipping delays. My order always seemed to be lost or forgotten and always blamed on someone else. The manager nor any employee ever took responsibility or tried to make things right. After 3 months, I finally was able to get my phone repaired to only have it stop working a week and a half later. Then apparently the part was ordered again but no one ever called me. I finally was able to take my phone in for repair a second time and it was never fixed. I left a message for the manager the next day who never returned my phone call. My phone was purchased only 5 months prior to its initial demise. I tried doing business with this company from March until August 2020. I have finally decided it is not worth my money or my time to ever deal with this company again. read more

I have the exact same problem that Andrew C. has. Took my iPad 3 in for shattered glass right before Christmas. The said "same day service". (Then they told me to take it home and keep it under a heavy book overnight to let the glue set.) In the process of fixing the glass, they broke something that did not allow the LED lights to work properly. It is Feb 9th and I still have no promise of getting my iPad back. IT IS WORTH THE $80 EXTRA DOLLARS TO TAKE YOUR PRODUCT TO THE APPLE STORE. I second what others have said that their customer service is non-existent. The manager was telling me stories of people who were fired within the company, while she has NEVER ONCE called me to even update me what is going on. I am a VERY compliant and understanding person, and if they had been proactive at all I don't think I would be so angry right now. read more

My wife and I brought our iPad 2 and iPad Mini into the Knoxville, Tn store at West Town Mall on February 18, 2016. iFixandRepair at West Town Mall replaced the glass screens on both iPads for us during the promotional period for $99 each (which ended last Friday February 19, 2016). We purchased cases on for both (one red/black and one blue/black), and the employees placed the cases on both iPads. The process took around 3 hours, after we were told it would be around an hour. They mentioned a 30 or a 60 day warranty on the iPad 2. We removed the case for the first time since the repair to clean off the case good, and my wife noticed a large crack in the glass on the iPad 2. And the bottom of the iPad 2 has a big gap between the bottom of the iPad and glass. You can see the inside of the iPad a little. The cases were placed on the iPads when we picked them up, and I believe when their "employees" placed the case onto the iPad 2, that's when the damage occurred. We have not dropped the iPad and this is the first time the case has been removed. My wife spoke with an "employee" at the West Knoxville store, and the guy was very unprofessional with my wife. He was more worried about us purchasing the repairs during the promotional period than the damage your employees caused to the iPad. If the iPad 2 was really under a warranty, then they should have to replace the glass AGAIN for free of charge. We are very displeased and will NEVER go back to this place referred to as a "phone and tablet repair shop". If they call this good customer service, then they obliviously need to attend customer service and management classes or training. Do not do business with this store. I took in an iPad for repair of shattered glass. They have had my iPad for a month and it is still not repaired. Why? Well while removing the glass, they damaged the home button flex cable. I was originally that the new digitizer was defective. They say the flex cable has still not came in. In addition, the only communication I have had with the store is me calling. No one called to tell me what had happened. They overcharged me and lied to me. The worst service I have ever seen. Save your money!!!!!! I wouldn't even rate 1 star if I didn't have to.This place is awful.... Simply a joke. I brought my phone in for just a front glass repair. $179.00. Said it would take 3 hours. About 7 hours later I get a phone call saying that they were sorry, however they broke the lcd screen in trying to remove the glass. Now the cost will be $279.00. At this point I said let me talk this over and I will call you right back..... At this point I really felt I had no choice so I called back and asked them to fix it and I asked are you sure this will be the total fix? They said yes. And I would have my phone back within 2 weeks. Called yesterday to check on the status and they stated I never called back and then wanted me to pay for the parts which was never stated at anytime during our conversations.... This establishment is ran by teenagers. Very unprofessional, obviously unskilled and I would NOT recommend. This could be a very lucrative business if someone knew what they were doing. read more

I had a terrible experience with ifixandrepair. They had my tablet for 6 weeks to repalce the glass. First theyI lost the replacemnet part. Turns out they ordered the wrong part. Finally after a month the correct part came in and they were OUT OF GLUE!!!! No one returned my numerous phone calls. When I finally went back to pick up my tablet the LCD was broken (which was checked in store when I dropped it off) and the manager refused to fix and it did not even want to give me a full refund. Ifix and repair has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I took 2 iPhone 5's in to get the top buttons fixed. I came back 3 days later and they still hadn't started working on the phones. I told them to keep me update, which never happened. I came back after 2 weeks and my iPhone was in shambles. They said that the screen stopped working as well as the volume buttons (which was not an issue when I brought the phone in) and that there was water damage (which wasn't true when I brought it in). They told me they would order the parts but never called me. After 4 weeks I returned after trying to call their number several times a day and never getting a response. I went into the store just to get my phones back so I could take them to somewhere with "qualified" iPhone repair people but the phones were still not fixed and the side aluminum casing had been scratched to pieces, and the screws were missing out of the bottom, the volume, top, volume on/off and home buttons were not working at all. They continually say they will keep me updated and they will order the parts and they haven't delivered their word yet. This company is by far one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. I recommend you stay as far away from Ifix and repair as possible. If you have issues don't take your electronics to these amateurs. I will never do business with this company again and I will make sure to tell every that IFIX AND REPAIR IS THE WORST COMPANY IN THE WEST TOWN MALL !!!! read more

After having the glass replaced on our iPad 2 we began having intermittent problems with the volume control switch. When brought to their attention, they assured us it was nothing they did as the switch worked when we left the store and they had only replaced the screen. They said we would be charged the full amount to repair this problem and suggested we just use a workaround to control volume. We took it to a different iPad repair place and they found small tears in the flexcable that controls the volume. There was also evidence that it had been tampered with at some point during the previous repair. IFixAndRepair has refused to help or take responsibility for the problem. All we were asking was for them to provide a replacement cable so the other company can complete the repair sooner rather than have to wait on a replacement part to come in. They have refused. I would stay away from Ifixandrepair in West Town Mall. They do not stand behind their work. read more

I dropped off my sons phone and iPad mini on 12/19. Both devices worked but had badly cracked screens. after a few weeks they told me they could not fix my phone. When they gave it back to me it no longer functioned. They said I would get a refund which still has not occurred. I then took the phone to Verizon. The tech there said it looked like someone tried to jail break the phone. Ihad to use my phone insurance on top of what I have already paid this joke of a company. Same story with the iPad. It was working when I took it in for screen repair. They have had for over a month and now tell me the LCD is broke. They charged me another $50 on top of what I had paid them already. I have been ripped off tremendously. I am also filing a complaint with the better business bureau. Please do not take your devices to this store. My experience is identical to previous reviews. Flat out terrible. I am out almost $500 read more
