I am typing this on my iPad right now, instead of sitting at home stressed about replacing it. Took my iPad by the Best Buy with an "Apple appointment", and told the guy I had something broken with my charging port. He never asked to see it, and took out a paper to look something up then told me they'd have to send it out and it would cost $450. I was very discouraged and decided to come by uBrakiFix as a last resort hoping they could do something. The young man at the counter took one look at my iPad, and said he knew exactly what was wrong, and went behind a wall to fix it. Came back and it was good to go! Turns out a piece of a charger had come off in the port and it just needed to be cleaned out. I was so grateful I was like "take my money!!!" Lol. Anyhow, I will not be going back to Best Buy. I grabbed information on their coverage plan. I will also be bringing by another iPad that won't turn on anymore that Best Buy said they couldn't do anything with either. ;0) I'll also be bringing buy my laptop. They could have more than one employee at the receiving station. It takes at least 1/2 hours to just get to expedite person. Not one shred of emphasis on customer delivery. I was there to get a screen saver installed in iPad. Told it would take 15 minutes. 45 minutes later I finally asked for f it was ready. Response, yea, probably done 20 minutes ago. The staff was very courteous and knowledgeable. The store appeared well maintained. The store was located in the Turkey Creek shopping district and was easy to find and access. Unfortunately, my I-phone battery replacement took just under 5 hours which was well beyond what was projected by the staff. Since we live 45 minutes away, we had to wait the additional time near the store since another round trip during rush hour was unreasonable. The cost of repair was $99 plus tax which I found to be within the local market rate. The repair did come with a 1 year warranty. I would use the shop again but plan my schedule accordingly. I did observe other customers bringing in physically damaged laptops and video game controllers. Those potential customers seemed to appreciate what the staff technicians were explaining to them about their individual repairs. read more

had a mobile repair scheduled, when I placed the order, I was given an option to leave notes. I left a good contact number and Name for the repair and then waited all day. Called Asurion customer support and never got any information. I went to the store around 4pm, an hour after my mobile appt was scheduled for, and was told that I needed to place an order before they can do a repair AND the repair can't be done today. 90% of my business is done over the phone and I cannot always be tied to a desk, they have hurt my income for the day and I am supposed to smile and wait patiently. I brought my phone in with a shattered screen and it still worked in certain areas but it was starting to have ink come out. took it to ubreakifix. got a new screen they said it wouldn't work as well as the original Apple screen because it was a 3rd party aftermarket screen. they said that there was no mother board damage and it was only the screen. got home and then my phone started fucking up. it would freeze and then turn purple and then restart my whole phone. took it back the next day and they said that it wasn't the screen and that there was mother board damage. I talked to a manger about a refund because that wasn't happening before with my shattered screen but it started after they "fixed" it. they said they would give me a refund but first I wanted to back up my iCloud because it has been done since 2023 so I was missing a lot of things but the phone wouldn't stay on long enough. come back the next day with my Mac book so they could do it. they said no promises on it working so at this point I was so fed up I just wanted my damn refund. asked for it then the manger tells me that he never said I could get one and that they won't give me one. so I spent 300 on a place that just fucked my phone up. my phone was working perfectly fine with my shattered screen just couldn't see half of the phone and then took it there they basically broke my shit and lied to me and fucked me out of my money. read more

Very poor customer service. Did not clean the iPad screen before installing and trapped dust underneath the screen. Had to argue to get them to take it back off and clean it. The installation was not done correctly and the screen cracked a month later due to pressure on the glass from the faulty installation. When I brought it back to them, they would not cover it under warranty. I will not use them again. read more

I dropped my iPhone 8 and cracked the screen. I had talked to many people on it before getting it repaired. when I took it there they replaced the screen and when he handed it back I asked him why didn't he blow the dust out of the speaker and microphone he went back and blew it out without taking it apart. After that people would tell me I can't hear you. So I took it back and they ran a diagnostics test said my battery was messed up? Which I had never had a problem with it before. So I paid them for a new battery. This still didn't help people still telling me they can't hear me. I took the phone back and told them they blew it out and messed up the microphone. I just looked at it and said no we didn't mess it up and refused to fix it. So I call this place they break you pay place is a rip off go somewhere else is my suggestion update the manager called me back and ask me to bring in my phone and repaired the problem and put on a screen protector for the inconvenience. I needed a new battery for my cell phone so I called my AT&T store and they told me they didn't sell batteries but there was a store very nearby that did. That store turned out to be you break I fix. I took my phone into them and they were very courteous and found the right battery and installed it. My cell phone is a Samsung & UBREAKIFIX according to Samsung customer service is currently a authorized repair service provider. I provided Samsung with detailed information and they sent the email and ticket to UBREAKIFIX. Upon arrival, greeted promptly, service tech pulled up the information on the computer and proceeded to check the mobile. He concluded that they could not fix it and went into the back area to speak with his boss for confirmation. I asked the tech for documentation and his response was the following " I've documented my notes in the comments and Samsung can get them off the computer! That's the best we can do! They don't carry the parts to fix those types of phones S20FE. You will need to contact Samsung." I immediately call Samsung who then states if there is no damage to the phone I said you no there isn't I just left your authorized repair store look up the notes in the computer and Mike from Samsung after a brief hold returns to inform me they don't have access to those records! I go back inside UBREAKIFIX I asked once more for written documentation / printout of the evaluation/notes for documentation purposes. That's when the 2nd guy came out from the back area and my assumption would be that he was the boss from earlier. He asked if I had the phone w/t me still? I went and retrieved it from the car. He takes it to the back area returns within 3 minutes and states it's charging. He placed it on 60 W mega block charger in the back area after 2 minutes it went up 2%. This guy goes onto to recommend buying a 60W mega block charger. When I asked again about the documentation that the phone was brought in and there wasn't any physical damage at the time. His response was we're unable to provide any type of documentation. I again explained that Samsung wants me to mail the phone to TX and I just purchased it & activated in December! I also asked what parts they didn't have to fix the phone and that's what prompted this 2nd guy to say it was charging on Mega Block. I went to another company who tested my phone in front of me and tried multiple different fast charging devices it didn't work. I was there at the 2nd Company over an hour with them testing and troubleshooting. However remember that this 2nd guy after 2min. SAID IT'S CHARGING! Then I went to my carrier who also tested it, documented it in the file after they completed their own diagnostic test! I wanted to make sure I had PLENTY OF FACTUAL EVIDENCE after the LAME QUICK LAST RESPONSE FROM UBREAKIFIX! I DROVE 1.5 HRS ONE WAY and the S20FE charging limit is 25W read more

Beware! We do not recommend ubreakifix. Our child's Wii stopped working. We called Callahan Rd. location and, realizing it was closer to us, Parkside Dr. location. Cody at Callahan agreed that the lens might be dirty (initial troubleshooting recommended by the manufacturer) and said ubreakifix could open the Wii and clean the lens; if the disc was bad he quoted $109. Aaron at Parkside also quoted $109. Both quotes were given to us over the phone. We took it to Parkside where Logan assured us the Wii would be opened and the lens cleaned. Two days later we received a call- the Wii needed a new disk for $179 ($159 for a rebuilt disk). I spoke to Chase (me: "Are you the manager?" Chase: "I can be." me: "haha. But are you really the manager?" Chase: "I can be." This game was just frustrating.) I asked Chase why we were given a far lower quote previously. He said "We never give quotes over the phone." I asked him if the lens was cleaned. He said "There's no need to. It's always the disk." We took our Wii and bought a replacement drive for $36 on Amazon. Following instructions at ifixit.com we replaced it in about an hour. There are a number of tiny parts that have to be pried off to get to the screws, and it was obvious the Wii had not been opened by ubreakifix, as the plastic screw covers and rubber feet were clearly never touched. So they made no attempt to clean the lens, as promised, and, in fact, never opened the Wii. By doing it ourselves we now have a happy child and, for a fraction of the cost, a fully functioning Wii (you can get the special screwdriver from ifixit for a few dollars.)
