Went in to get my charging port on my iPhone fixed and was quoted 7 hours. They told me they could fix the crack in the back as well for a discount and I agreed. Got there to pick it up and Zach said he forgot to do the charging port. Problem was the work took an hour longer and it's now closing time. Didn't even fix what I went in there to get fixed first and foremost. Unfortunately, the quality of their work did not live up to the friendly service I initially received. I brought my iPod in for microsoldering repair after damaging it while replacing the hard drive. The technician quoted me $50-100 for the repairs and a timeframe of about a week. Three weeks go by, and it's finally ready. Then I was handed my iPod, haphazardly half assembled, with a verbal warning to handle it carefully. This cursory state was disconcerting, but I accepted it, paying the $150 in full. I carefully and promptly close it up to avoid any further damage, then power it on to test it. I am met with an error screen and a bricked device. Keep in mind that the device functioned fully before their "repair" at the disconnected ribbon connector port. I emailed them to see what could be done to resolve this, and they responded with a deflection, saying they don't know about mods for these devices. However, the problem has nothing to do with the device, which functioned fully, and everything to do with their so-called repair. I replied to their email voicing my concerns, and have received no response. read more

We took our phone in for repair a week ago. We were told it was the touchscreen that needed repair. We waited until the Monday and we we're asked for our passcode for them to test phone once they got the part. We were then told it was working and they just needed to put it back together. Then we were told that the junior tech put it in backwards or upside down and shorted the phone out. They said they would order more parts and fix it at no further cost to us. Now,a week later, we were told that it was irreparable! So now we have no phone and not even something that can be repaired!! What can we do now!? We took an iPhone in due to a cosmetic issue of a fractured back plate or cover of the phone, it was totally cosmetic. Understandably, they said they would need a day to repair the back of an iPhone due to all the intricate tech involved. But after $150 I guess I expected the back cover to be repaired WITHOUT loss of iPhone performance. Yes, they needed the password to get into the iPhone to be sure that all is working correctly afterward but sadly the screen is now way less responsive. When the screen is "tapped" it sometimes will not function all, as if not being tapped or selected at all, which is great if there's ever an emergency. Also, the volume is now so bad that every call needs be put on speaker mode just to hear anyone. Sadly, the reason for the repair was all cosmetic and the functionality of the phone was fine until they "repaired" it. When I asked if it was covered I was told they would let me know but they would need it for 1-2 days to determine and repair the phone! So, to be clear you're going to work on it for another 1-2 days and then let me know if I have to pay to get it back? NICE! I do not recommend this place, I do not recommend the people based on the clouded responses to "is it covered under a warranty from the work you did?", and I cannot recommend it for value or craftsmanship.... Try another option and it the meantime I really hope "iFixem" get fixed... read more

My mobile phone sounded muffed and broken up when talking to people. I thought I may have broken something in my phone, like the microphone. When I called the store, he quickly troubleshot it with me and said the microphone needed to be cleaned, which was a quick fix. I went over right away, and I was in and out. What a relief! Took phone screen for repair. First off they are $50 more than the next guy right off the bat. Less than 2 weeks later the screen stopped working again. Warranty on receipt says if the screen is broken, which mine clearly was not, it's void. Not cracks or anything. Gave me some bull crap excuse about a white line showing damage. Although it was clearly a screen problem. Wanted to charge full price again to fix, when they didn't do it right the first time. Do not go there, there were other more reliable and cheaper places. Update: as you can see the owner has replied. I called apple and they said a white line can be the display flex cable is damaged/isn't sitting properly after screen install. Among other reasons that's not related to being dropped or sat on the screen. The receipt clearly says broken, damaged screen, which mine is clearly not. repair shop didn't even take the time to check it out, just gave a generic reason to void the their workmanship warranty. Save your $250 and don't go there. read more

This place is hands down the BEST! My boyfriend is a firefighter and broke his phone by running it over with the fire truck. He needs his phone for work and it's the only way I get to talk with him while he's gone for days at a time. I called them up super last minute and explained the situation. They were very friendly and willing to take his phone and stay late to get it fixed on the spot. You have no idea how much this has meant to me and we are so grateful for this place! Find a different repair shop. I took an Ipad in to fix a bad battery, so I thought. When I dropped it off I asked - what if it isn't the battery? And they told me if it wasn't holding a charge that is what the problem was. So I left it to be fixed. Picked it up about a week later to get it home and it STILL wouldn't charge. Went back into the store and they ran some diagnostics on it, turns out, it was the board in the Ipad. So the kid at the front tells me to now fix the "board" will be an additional $150 (I had already paid them $100 for the battery). So since I can buy a NEW ipad for $400 I told him this was not an option and at this point what can they do for me to make the situation right since my Ipad is STILL not working and I'm out $100. The kid at at the front told me "nothing". I asked if I could speak to the manager and he said he was the manager. So I asked to speak to his superior whom then he told me is his Father, the Owner and he doesn't deal with customers face to face (eyeroll). At this point I told him I would not accept this and he offered to give me a 50% refund. When he opened his cash register to give me some of my money back, he THREW it at me! Unbelievable. Hey Dad- if you are going to have your son run your store for you, might want to teach him some better customer service skills or come run the place yourself and deal with YOUR customers one on one who are keeping your store in business. Terrible business practices. If you really want your device fixed, go somewhere else. These people don't know what they are doing. Me and my boyfriend went this morning to fix his screen on his iphone and they fixed it and everything. without dropping it or anything on the way home a black line appeared and then 60% of the screen went dark, the other half grainy and all glitchy, we went back to see if we could get it refixed for free because no damage was done to it and we paid 110 bucks for it to just not work again? Neal the dude who helped us was talking about like its not under warranty and wed have to pay more money to get it refixed because it HAD to have been damaged (we quite literally didnt drop it, no damage was done to it) Straight up fixed my bfs phone for 110 bucks and it worked for about 15-20 minutes. Great! Now were out a phone again, 110 bucks, and we feel as if weve been scammed! I requested a quote from a number of companies on Yelp to repair my phone. Nearly all of them were quick to quote me anywhere from $59 to $79 to repair my broken charging port. These guys immediately suggested that most likely the port is not broken but merely dirty and if i brought it in, they would clean it out for me for free. I always appreciate honesty as a consumer and took my phone in. Not only did they clean out the port, but they cleaned up the whole thing. It's like i have a new phone! First doesn't answer my phone calls I had to call multiple times through out the day. Second I call the next day bc I was told my phone would be done. Turns out machine broke told me they can't finish it. I told them I'd come pick it up bc I need it for work bc I work Night Shift weekends. I go there phone still not ready with the temp back they promised me. I go back 30 mins later. My phone edges are all scratched the back of the phone isn't even on all the way it's specially off. I tell the tech that they fucked it up and he responds " that was you it was already there " Um no that was not there. You guys scratched the edges and my camera. Let me see the manager. Horrible services. Blames the customer can't keep word of phone being done. Manager comes out telling me I need to pay the 150$ for them fucking it uo and that it will take over a week for my frame to be fixed and I won't. Need to pay for that. First you damage my phone how do I know you won't damage it further. Bc mam I have done this longer than you been born. Clearly not if you fk up my phone this bad. Long story short horrible company. Horrible business. Will mess up your devices to make you pay just to get something else fixed. They are quick to respond with a quote and had a new battery in my iPhone 7 within 45 minutes. (Hint call ahead and try to get there when they open on a weekday). There were some scuffs left on the sides of the phone near the (not on the screen itself) screen to take apart the phone but this is not too big of a deal since I normally have a case on it anyway and my phone is 3+ years old. They also checked my charging port to make sure it was good to go as well. Quick and friendly! Pricing is reasonable. They fix Androids, tablets, iPads, iPods and many other tech gadgets too. Would give 0 stars if i could. Took my son in there to get his cracked phone screen fixed, and the back glass fixed (it was also cracked). After waiting a few days, we were told to pick it up. ONLY TO FIND NOW THE PHONE WONT EVEN LET ME TYPE THE PASSWORD IN. I can't get into my phone. The screens cracks are fixed, but now the screen doesn't even work! Its like its not a touch-screen phone anymore. They messed up the sensor pad!! Not to even mention they replaced my sons BLACK BACK with a WHITE BACK. Doesnt even match the phone!!! I am absolutely disgusted with the service. Dishonest, untrustworthy and shady don't even begin to explain the service. I dropped my sons IPad 7 off to have the LCD replaced. $200 service includes screen replacement that I was informed had to be changed in order to replace the LCD. No big deal. I called 2 days later to get an estimated time for pick up and the young man on the phone says it is actually ready for pick up. WOW!! Then the fun begins... I pick up the tablet they show me the screen is working and turns on, GREAT I took it home. When I got home and was about to put the case back on I noticed a decent size piece of fuzz on the corner I tried to whip it off, but it was under the screen. hmm.. no Biggy stuff happens. I took the tablet back and the young man informed me it would be ready by the next day which was Friday. I informed him I wouldn't be able to pick it up until next week. Again, no problem. Today I picked my sons tablet up from the owner Jeremy great deal the fuzz was gone, and the screen turned on. Fantastic!!! I hadn't even had the tablet for an hour when I picked it up from the back seat and noticed the screen was pealing up. I could literally see the glue strips and under the screen. I take the tablet back immediately. I give it to Jeremy and his exact words were "I see why it's coming up." I said why? he informed me the tablet was bent. I said the tablet wasn't bent when I dropped it off. He said I assure you my guys didn't bend the tablet. He proceeds to take the tablet to the back and says have a seat. He then comes out with the screen lifted and stated " this is not the tablet you picked up" I said excuse me? Do you mean you gave me the wrong tablet? Because I assure you this is the exact tablet I picked up just an hour ago. He proceeded to explain this tablet hadn't ever been worked on by them because when they replace the screen they do not attach the home button to the screen. Then he proceeded to say this screen is the original and does not have any of their markings. By this time, I am furious. He goes to the back and about 1 minute later yells from the back "OH you had the LCD replaced on this right?" I said yes and the screen was supposed to be replaced. He says, "ok its back on the dryer it will be just a minute." As he brings It back out he keeps saying that we bent the tablet and that's why the glass separated. He handed me the tablet and says I tried to bend it back the best I could but just try not to bend it again. He stated it's still a little wobbly but it's on. Mind you as I look at the tablet there is a dent in the back the screen is not secure. You can see a lip where the screen does not set flat in the metal casing. I had no decent words after this treatment and trash service. Before accusing someone of bringing back in a tablet they "never worked on" he could have looked up the serial number or IP address of the tablet. He just insisted this was a different tablet, then I asked because the button was on the screen did your guys not change the screen? He then back peddled to say it was changed... One of his techs repairs the screens this was. But just 5 minutes ago this was his big proof that they didn't work on this tablet. My hands are up ladies and Gents. Never again. This man is dishonest and a very shady business man. My sons tablet looks like shit the screen is still lifted and loose, there is a dent in the back of the tablet and it is bent to hell now. Let me assure you this tablet hasn't been touched by a soul. It was sat in the back seat in-between a micro fiber blanket to be sure it didn't touch anything until I was able to get home and get the case back on it. I should have done a better inspection upon picking up the tablet. I was just happy to see the screen on and no little fuzzy. I never even looked at the back of the tablet. Lesson learned. read more
