Awesome indoor skydiving experience especially as a first time flyer. User friendly process from beginning to end such as completing waiver online before arrival and checking in at kiosk takes 2 seconds. Due to early arrival they even accommodated us by getting us in early. I felt comfortable having watched the training video and Jason was there to assist every step of the way. Totally enjoyed the high flight and if it's your first time you should definitely get the most out of your experience and try it. The experience was so great decided to add on fly time and return to advance my skills. Jason was even nice enough to teach me new moves on my first try which was cool. Tons of fun. Big thanks to Tex for taking care of my my boys, and giving them a great, memorable experience. I only have one complaint, and it's with iFly corporate. I bought the family package online, and took my 4 sons, ages 5 through 11. We checked in an hour ahead of time as requested, and I got annoyed that they chose that moment to let me know that I would have to pay extra for the high-flying, which the website promotes without suggesting is a separate charge. I would have paid extra for it online, which would have saved me an unnecessary moment of expecting I was going to be nickeled and dimed further. Once we met Tex, the instructor, all went smoothly, and my kids came away with the happy, thrilling, premium experience I had hoped for. Easily a 5th star if not for the one hiccup. read more

Loved this! I have been dying to try this out for a long time, but just hadn't got to it. Today, I woke up and decided I'm going. I hopped in my car and called them on my way there. They booked my flight within a few minutes. When I arrived, I checked in on the lobby computer, then headed upstairs. Everyone I met was incredibly nice. It feels like you are hanging with friends. My instructor's name was Tex - I loved him and his positive, easy-going attitude. He had me watch the video, suit up, then we got into the air tunnel. I've been to this location three times so far--and it's always a good time. The first time I went was for a friend's son's birthday. We had Mark as our instructor. He was great with the kids, great at explaining what we needed to know, and lots of fun. The second time I came was with my family for Father's Day and we had Boo as our instructor. Boo was really excellent at communicating inside of the tunnel. He was patient and made me feel really comfortable. Today we came in for a birthday, and had a great time again. This time we got Devon--also so great!! He made sure to fully prep us for the new tricks we were going to be practicing in the tunnel since we were all returning flyers. We had an awesome time! This is a pricey activity and I recommend booking your next session the day you fly if you can since that's the best price you can get. Otherwise--book your return flying online--it's cheaper than in person. If I could afford it I'd make this a regular activity because learning new tricks with these guys is awesome. read more

Short story: It's awesome! If you're scared of heights or love the idea of it, this will be a great activity for you! Now, the details ;-) -My friend and I arrived on a Saturday, for an 11:00-11:30 appt. TIP: the arrival time they give you is well ahead of the time before your mandatory instruction session prior to your flight! -Our instructor (I don't recall his name at the moment, once I find his card I'll edit this review with his name.) was friendly, succinct with his instructions and encouraging. This proved useful immediately prior to my flight as I was..ehhhm..quite hesitant to enter what I call the Vortex chamber! My flight was better than I thought! Yours will be too. -if you have preexisting injuries to your shoulder especially, notify your instructor. They have signs reminding you (including if you have neck/back pain) they'll instruct you on what to do/not to. -if you follow their instructions for where and how you should orient your arms and legs in space, you'll be surprised how centered or how high you may go! They normally wouldn't allow people on standard flights (2x30 Sec included in the standard flight package) to go higher than six feet (you can purchase a higher flight where the instructor goes with you up to at least 15 feet(?)for an additional $10.00. - They have small lockers for your personal items free of cost. - the goggles need to placed snugly on your face so that means..yup..cute goggle imprints on your face for half the day. Everytime I go to IFly my experience is PHENOMENAL! The other evening I went there with my kids. That night was my kids second time flying and my first. We had a problem checking in but Nicole was able to take care of my problem quickly. I was really nervous and scared at first but once I was in that tunnel it was an AMAZING! The event was a blast, but expensive. Even with a pkg "deal" the videos & pictures of the flights came out a little costly. That being said, I highly recommend it, especially if you're interested in (outdoor) skydiving. The $20 add-on for the "high fly" was well worth it & took it all to a whole other level! Our flight instructor was Tex, who was great, along with all the other staff. We set a reservation, but other people were walk-ins & didn't need to wait. The long business hours were awesome, facility & faculty are great, the atmosphere nice, open & clean, the shoes, hair ties, ear plugs, flight suits, helmets & goggles are all complimentary & great if you forgot anything like I did. This is a must for everyone!!! So glad we went early and got to watch everyone before hand. Our instructor was Ann and she was friendly and made it easy for us. Took my 6 year old son for his birthday and it was absolutely amazing! The staff was very friendly from the second I walked in the door. My instructors name was Nick and he was very nice and patient with my son. There was also another guy named Michael who was very polite and got my son pumped up and ready to fly. We even noticed how he pointed two little children toward their parents who were watching so the parents could get good photos!! I was refunded but its still extremely disconcerting to have scheduled an event and be completely led into believing that you are within standards. The Venue: Great place to throw a party and have some fun. My kids had a blast in the tunnel. We arrived very early to check in being it was the first time there. We were greeted at the downstairs counter check-in area by smiling and cheerful faces. So we got our photo and video pass and were instructed to go to the flight deck on the second floor. The first floor has some cool merchandise and a restroom but when visited it was beyond dirty, so I had to use the second floor restroom which was a bit better. Upstairs they also have party rooms if you are throwing a party. The Flight Prep: There are seats around the tunnel and basically you wait usually 15-20 minutes past your check-in time to get called into the briefing/training room. The instructor, Brockton, was really nice and kept the class on track with questions scattered throughout to make sure you remembered the hand signals. I mean you can hear in a wind tunnel. After the class you go "Gear Up" and get on your flight suit, goggles, ear plugs, and helmet last. Then you go wait near the tunnel bench until it is your group's turn. Yes you go in with a group, but it is fun giving high fives to total strangers. The Fright or Flight: Now it's your group's turn and you are super nervous but don't be because these instructors are in there with you if you are a first time flyer. The first time around, yes you get a minimum of two flights per person, you float about chest height with the instructor holding you and wind speeds are at a little over 80 mph. The second time around you can opt to go high but it's an upcharge so you can either let the instructor know or pre-purchase it at the counter when you check in. Tips: It is highly adiseable to tip the instructor if you enjoyed the instructions and lesson. The next time you come you don't have to take the class if within 6mo. of your last flight! We had a blast and I enjoyed watching people of all different ages and sizes take to the tunnel and get blown away!!! read more

Had my son's birthday party here. There really is no birthday host as i am traditionally used to. There's a lady with a list that leads you to a room and pretty much lets you do whatever you want after that. The instructor was great and the kids had a ton of fun! The party package is really expensive for no good reason but it all worked out. They order pizza for you but we had to track down someone to sign the receipt when the pizza man came because its on their credit card. Other than that they gave us everything we needed to have a great time. Also they give you videos but all of our was sent in one email so i could not determine whose video went to whom read more

This was a great experience for all. My second son was turning 11 and this was by far the most excited he has been in a very long time. It was enjoyable just to watch he and the instructors do their tricks. Much more memorable than a party at the local inflatable jumping place. Now he has the answer as to how it feels to fly! So much fun! It felt like flying! I cannot wait to go back! It was like floating on a cloud!

For $150 you literally get TWO minutes of flying for two people. Most of it is very low near the ground and never on your own. Plus they make you pay an extra $10 per person for going higher up which we paid. So you fly a tad higher for about 5-10 whole seconds but still within your two minutes. We've done REAL skydiving which cost a little more but is much more fun, adventurous, and lasts much longer. This might be a big deal for little kids but not too exciting for teens or adults. Seriously overpriced for a whopping 2 minutes of low flying. Not impressed. read more

It's a must! Especially when they take you up fast! I heard the Memorial location were always busy so we went to the one in The Woodlands and I liked that it felt more one-on-one.
