Hands down, one of the best field trips we've ever experienced! From start to finish, the entire team was fully engaged with our kids and handled every personality and learning style with ease and care. Not a single interaction fell short--everyone we encountered, from check-in through flying, was incredibly kind, attentive, and on top of everything. The facility itself was clean, organized, and--most importantly--so much fun! My daughter said it was the best field trip she's ever been on and is already asking to go back and fly again. Thursday: We came here to celebrate a birthday and an upcoming promotion for my son. To commemorate the day we both conquered the fear of flying, we signed up for a package, including media. You can see the building from the street prominently displaying the Ifly logo so it's not hard to miss, just across from the mall. Parking was plentiful as we signed up for the last flight of the day. The facility is well kept and very clean and we do appreciate this. We called in to make the reservation and inform them we have vouchers that include two flights per person, including the media. Each flight was 60 seconds long so this was a bit of a pricey experimentation, but we had to do it at least even once. The staff was very accommodating, including Ryan, who was our instructor who also checked us in. We waited our turn after the batch before us. During the wait, we were asked to sign a waiver, including watching a video of how it's done. Pretty straightforward. We got suited up after the party ahead of us had left. He called us into a training room to give us more brief instructions. We went into the tunnel, which was like a tube inside a tube shooting all the way up. The first layer is where people sit in and the second layer is where all the flying happens. The person adjusting the airflow can be seen in a sealed compartment and they guide you too on how to fly. It was a wonderful experience and they took into consideration our fears of first time flying. The instructor Ryan was in the tube with us and gives his hand signals on what needs to get done like straighten your legs or chin up or how you position your arms. My problem is when they sent the media via email that same night.m, it was only for one person. I responded to the email to ask about the second media as part of the package. No response. I figured I'd wait the next day so with no email reply, I left a voice message at the location. I also indicated this on the survey they had sent to rate the whole experience. One part was a question if I wish to be contacted and I said yes. We needed this last piece of media to complete the movie we have been working on for a while in time for the promotion gathering. This will be shown to a huge crowd which could maybe even get more awareness about this sport. I am very frustrated about all the efforts of receiving the one thing we came here for which I mentioned earlier, is not cheap for a 2- minute "try-to-fly" moment. If anyone is reading this from the company, I need to speak to someone about this issue. My deadline is coming up and I need a response at the soonest possible time. She checked and said the helmet # was not captured so tu was not sent. She said she will send in 10 minutes. I received the email in 5 min from the time I made the call. Eating now: 4 stars. Went on a Sunday to avoid the traffic from Long Beach. Pulling up to the building made me a bit nervous because I had purchased the high flight and from the outside, the tube appeared to be about 3 stories high. You HAVE to get the high flight. Pay the extra. Both of my flights were high, and I'm so glad I did. It's such a rush, and they only go up about 10ft or so. Now, I was shocked to realize that the flights are only 1 minute long. I'll tell you what - it is a LONG 1 minute when you're getting spun around going high and back down low over and over. It's way more physical than you think. Once you start coming down off the adrenaline, you start to feel how your joints actually felt about. It's the day after and my shoulder, hips, and back are quite sore. Our instructor, LUIZ, was fantastic. After we all flew, he gave a demonstration and flew all the way up to the top of the tube. I want to do that!! I will definitely be going back. I hear it gets cheaper as you go. Also - bonus - they have a Dippin' Dots ice cream machine. Never seen one before, but looks pretty cool. My son wanted to try indoor skydiving for his birthday last Saturday and it was a fun time! I booked the reservation online, filled out the waivers, and watched a video before going. So once we got there, we checked in and waited until it was our time. Our instructor Rigo was super friendly and knowledgeable. I had only purchased a high flight for my son and after seeing him go high, the rest of us wanted to do it for our second flight so we purchased them. We all enjoyed it, I just didn't like feeling like I couldn't breathe once I went high because of the strong wind rushing on my face. To conquer our fear of heights and prepare ourselves for skydiving, my friend and I decided to try indoor skydiving LOL. Decided to head in early on a Thursday morning because we did not know what to expect since it was our first time. When we arrived, we were greeted by Carlos. We had to sign a waiver and have our weight taken to see which jumpsuit best fit our body type. Once that was done, we had to wait a bit because there was a STEM class in session where local elementary/high school students got to learn about gravity and force. In our jumpsuit, Carlos went over the different hand signals that we might encounter during our flight. Depending on what you paid for, there's different flight(s), high and low. My friend and I decided to do both. They will try to make you do add-on(s) and up sale you BUT stick with what you paid for. Overall, it was a fun and great experience. This is SO FUN! I'd been wanting to try this for a while now. I asked my kids if they wanted to give it a try as well and they were up for it! I hopped online and made a reservation. Their weekday Super Saver option was a great opportunity to check this place out and get 30% off for 2 flights each. I was a little confused about the type of flight we'd get from the website (regular and high fly) so I waited to ask about that once we arrived. Be sure to fill out the waiver online to save yourself time once you arrive. We got there about 15 minutes prior to our scheduled time. I was informed the high fly, which is an extra $19.99 each is where they take you further up inside the tunnel. Otherwise, you're just floating at the regular height, which is still really fun. My oldest and I opted for the high fly add-on and my youngest was cool sticking with the regular flight. The facility is really nice! They have great lockers for all your belongings. They worked with me to alternate with my kids so we could switch off taking videos and photos of each other with my phone. They provide everything you need: flight suit, ear plugs, goggles, head sock and helmet. Carlos is the BEST! He was so encouraging and helpful. We were honestly a little scared when we first got there but he helped put us at ease. On our second flight, he taught my oldest and me how to do a left and right turn in the tunnel. At the end of our session, he had the opportunity to show us his moves in the wind tunnel by himself. WOW! So much fun! In a word, it's FUN! My better half talked me into trying this out with her for her birthday. I'm not a fan of heights, so there's no chance I'm leaping out of an airplane anytime soon. However, I am a fan of the film Drop Zone and have always wanted to try out a vertical wind tunnel. (If you haven't seen it, do it -- you're missing out on a classic '90s action flick.) So here we go... I'd recommend booking ahead and signing the waivers before you arrive -- it seemed to expedite everything. It's absolutely amazing to engage with staff who clearly love their jobs. Jordan was our instructor and Charles was our High Fly Coach, but everyone we encountered was friendly and professional. I think they love every minute they can get in the air, and in turn, they want customers to love it as well. There was also another person who joined our time slot for more specialized training, and that was impressive to watch too! It also felt very safe. They addressed safety thoroughly before we ever suited up, and everything was very well organized. We noticed a lot of kids during the Saturday morning session we attended -- so if you're wondering whether it's family-friendly, it definitely is. My wife has already booked another session for herself and her bestie to celebrate her bestie's birthday -- so I guess we can only go up from here. I took my son to this place on Monday Dec 22nd, the price was pretty high paying $120+ for 4 flights. Turns out that's amounts to 4 minutes of total flight time. Then their package says that photos and video are included and told that they would be emailed to me in 2-3 hours. It is now Friday Dec 26th and I still haven't received them and can't seem to get anyone to answer the phone or respond to emails. I did take my own pictures and videos, I was just hoping that theirs would be clearer. So my cousin is visiting out of town and we had no idea where to take a non-drinking girl who just turned 21. Stopped by universal and the instructor did a crazy show at iFly and my cousin was sold. Universal was closed so we went online and found a huge place in Ontario that had a HUGE facility and an opening at a time we wanted. Thank goodness we came here! We purchased a package online but when we got here, there was a Back to School deal where the guy recommended we used the deal. He did. Hassle free. Refund us the remaining we paid back to our credit card. Love it! My cousin did not speak any English and thankfully the coach was patience enough to repeat it to me so that I can translate it back to her. I didn't feel like I was holding up the line nor did I felt awkward having to do it while others are watching. Right? As for THE experience, while I can't capture her actual experience, my cousin had an amazing time. And I thoroughly had a blast watching her. The coach, Carlos, was so amazing that all of us are eager to return. So eager that I'm planning on bringing my 3 and 4 year-old girls to give this a try- apparently, kids as young as 3 can participate! I also learned today that 2 minutes seem short on paper but from my cousins experience, it seems waaaay longer than you think. You'll either love it or hate it and you'll know it the moment you step in... The facility looks spectacularly new, the staff are ultra friendly and skilled, and the prices are really reasonable. First timer here. Went with work mates on a Saturday morning. Miles was our instructor and he did an amazing job teaching us the proper form and making the whole experience fun at the same time. We paid in advance so some mates didnt show up so we ended up getting about 4-5 turns each and it was more than enough to be memorable. My first attempt was embarassing, as I have never experienced this before so it's really different watching someone else and when it's exactly your turn. On my third attempt, he asked me if I wanted to go high and it was worth it!!! The place wasn't crowded at all and after our group there were two kids who looked pro and they were fun to watch how good their form was and how high they went. My Cub Scout Pack came here today for their Scouts STEM program. We first started out talking about the engineering of the wind tunnel and what considerations need to be made about getting something up in the air. Then we broke up into 3 groups and each group had an opportunity to do lab activity, fly and have a break time to watch their fellow scouts fly. At the end we got to watch a demo with various objects of different mass being flown in the tunnel. Super fun activity for the afternoon and all scouts (and their families) had a fantastic time! Every staff member I encountered was professional and friendly. The instructor for our group was super energetic and fun. Although my wheelchair bound son couldn't make it today, they explained to me that when he does come they would Velcro his legs together, bring the wheelchair up to the tunnel and help him fly! They were also super nice with one of our scouts with autism and held him so that he floated around at his own comfort level and let him out of the tunnel when he wanted to leave. First time to visit iFly. We went with our Cub Scout troop. It was a great group activity as they split the group in to 4s to alternate amongst different STEM activities. The kids and adults had a blast. They competed 2 flights with an instructor holding onto them. My son wasn't sure if he wanted to do it but it was a good opportunity to see the prior group while waiting to get an idea of what will happen. We watched YouTube videos prior but definitely cooler in person :) The staff were really knowledgeable and experts in all things iFly. They ended the group activity with a great activity using different items in the IFly space. Great to go as a group. A plus for the free parking and awesome staff! read more

Brought our boys (ages 9 and 16) here for their first time. Definitely, an experience every child should have before they become sedentary and inflexible like most of us working stiffs. Pedro, the instructor, is highly skilled and personable. We felt very comfortable with him making sure it was a safe and fun experience, and he proved us right. Our youngest freaked out at first, and Pedro took the time to help him regroup and get back in the wind tunnel. Ultimately, he had a great time and wanted to return. Overcoming that setback was one of those learning opportunities that becomes a crucial part of a child's character development and learning to overcome the anxiety that paralyzes so many of us throughout our lives. By getting back in the air immediately, our son walked away with more confidence and internal locus of control than he started with. It takes someone truly who cares about kids to recognize this, and do what is necessary to inspire and support them in the moment. It's a bit challenging at first but it's good once you get the hang of it. I definitely recommend getting the video and photo package. Butterfly in the sky, you can go twice as high. Take a look, it's in a nook, as you fly in their rainbow. As per me this was definitely a taste of what it would be like somewhat if I did go skydiving. A great and informative introduction of how to position your hands and feet if you were to leap out of a plane. Once you check in your instructor will fit you with all the gear you will need to be safe and protected inside the wind tunnel. After your finished gearing up you'll watch a short video along with a couple of other visual instructions you will need while in the tube. For an additional fee you can have the instructor fly up to the top of the tunnel and you can also have your video shot but I recommend someone else filming you. Not that they don't do a good job but your party can dictate what parts you want captured. After it was said and done it was definitely an experience worth your while if your adventurous or just want a sample of what it would be like floating in the air and soaring like a bird.
