Why they offer this horrible helmet and googles is beyond me. So horrible.
    Starr E.

I personally did not enjoy the experience. I would highly recommend if you do go pay extra for the better helmet the helmet and goggles they include with the price were awful it gave me a Severe headache. I might have enjoyed the experience if I knew this fact that the other helmets are more comfortable and not super tight on your face and head. Disappointed I drove all that way for a bad experience.

Very cool concept. I myself did not partake, but it was a birthday gift for my dad who really enjoyed it. The booking process was easy and they give a discount for military. The staff who assisted in booking and the instructor was very friendly. For family/friends who are not partaking they have a number of seating around the wind tunnel so you can enjoy the show and take some pictures! There were people of all ages and sizes and it seemed like everyone enjoyed it. They have plenty of parking outside and check-in was easy. 10/10 would recommend for a gift for someone.

Oh my goodness! Super fun if you enjoy flying like a bird! Safe and professional. They educate prior to your flights. I loved every minute of it! A "PG" version to skydiving. Great for people of all ages...if you are in good health.

Smooth process, easy clear instructions, staff were so kind, patient and overall amazing with the group of kids I brought! Even a special high fly thrill for my 9 year old!

This was so much fun! The instructors look like flying squirrels the way they move in the tunnel. It will definitely take practice but I'd love to come again soon

4 1/2 stars. Very cool concept that basically rally's around everything I believe in...family, Country, Freedom and adrenaline filled fun Veteran owned (former Navy SEAL) We made reservations for my 10 year olds birthday and were super excited to take him. We made reservations online and the process was very easy. The day before they sent us the waivers and we had them all filled out ready to go when we showed up. When we showed up we were totally taken care of by Christy who runs the marketing there. You could see the passion she had for this place and gave us a ton of opportunities to come back. We sat and waited until our time was up and our little guy could get his 3 minutes. The time in the tunnel was a blast. My 10 year old wanted another hour. At one point the lead instructor took him to the top of the tunnel (we paid extra for) which was super cool i highly recommend. 1/2 star docked for the 3 minutes, is seemed fairly short but what the heck do I know, lol.

I came here with my step sister and pops. We got the 2 for 2 deal for $104. We got a chance to fly twice. The experience was exhilarating! We both were at level 1 and there are 5 levels. You can pay $20 extra to fly high. The instructor will take you very high. We didn't do that one. We were offered a huge discount to come back. I got the 5 minute/5 sessions deal for $99 and my sister got another deal to do with her boyfriend. Overall it was a lot of fun. Great activity to do with family members. There are several locations. Thank you Harrison!

I don't know what has gotten into my husband, he joined my son this time at iFLY ;) I'm about to do another TANDEM SKYDIVING jump soon and my son wanted to go with me, but he is still a MINOR, he is only 14 years old. So I brought him again to the INDOOR SKY DIVING. Usually he practices a lot at the MISSION VALLEY branch LOCATION , but this time we gave this place a try the OCEANSIDE location to see if they are also good here. As far as our experience here, the staff are super Nice. My son doesn't have to watch the safety-videos anymore 'coz he already knows what to do ,he does this a lot at Mission Valley branch , but he still went coz his Daddy needs to watch the short safety-video for the do's and don'ts while inside the tunnel. As always, my son and now my husband enjoys iFLY and even better they love the HIGH FLIGHT! High Flight is done on your last flight , you and your instructor will go up a little bit more in a higher flight . The instructors here are Cool. I suggest to buy a Return Voucher, it gives you a discount for your next visit. And they also have souvenir you can purchase like shirts, hats and more . And also your Photo and Videos ( optional) are also available for purchase at the end of your flight. Dont forget to say Thank you to your instructor at the end of your flight OR TIP him / her . It is not mandatory to tip, but if you enjoy your flight and your instructor's company, reward them to show your appreciation and that you enjoyed your flight. So for BOTH LOCATIONS, MISSION VALLEY and OCEANSIDE, both are an AWESOME place to do your iFLY FLIGHT. Both have cool Staffs and instructors . When everyone is done , another best part of this i FLY , your instructor will do a little show inside the Tunnel . Your instructor will look like a Superhero Flying fast inside the Tunnel ;)

We drive past IFly 5x a week and my 13yr old made a comment he wanted to try this place out, last year. I held off of purchasing flights due to the world's health restrictions and wanted to make sure that by the time he had an opportunity- it would be w/out all the craziness of the world. Today was his day and he was extremely excited. May end up making this a reoccurring active for him to include go-Karting. Upon entry: we were immediately greeting by the 2 ladies up front. I ended buying an addition to his already purchased flight to go higher in the tube; worth it. The facility was very clean and everyone was just so friendly. No pressure to purchase anything you weren't interested in and honestly it was all just a great experience for my son who had a day off from school.

Great Experience and the perfect Birthday gift for a 10 year old boy. I flew out from Charlotte to be with my Daughter and her family and to celebrate my Grandson Zayden's 10th birthday. Had a great weekend and we did a lot but I was looking for something special and unusual for us to do. Stayed in the Holiday Inn Express and Conference Center on Palomar Airport Rd and on my first morning there, I spotted on of those racks filled with local attraction flyers and advertisements. Most of which I expected but one stuck out as a possibility and that was for iFLY Indoor Skydiving. Picked up one of the flyers and when I had a moment alone with Amy, my Daughter, I handed it to her and asked if she and Zayden might want to try it. She thought about it and while not sure how he would react, she said let's try it. He might be reluctant at first but after he see's others doing it, he would probably enjoy it. I booked reservations for two and that was for Amy and Zayden for three flights and the third flight was a virtual reality experience simulating skydiving from 13,000 feet, BTW, I was not chicken but had hip replace surgery 6 month earlier and still healing so next time. We showed up at the appointed time and checked in with no problems. A bit of a delay in being called back to suit up but I think the delay may be on purpose to afford time for everyone to have a great experience. Everyone is outfitted in a Jumpsuit. Zayden's was Red and White and Amy's was Red and Black. Of course there where helmets in case you bumped against the side of the tunnel and on the VR run, of course you have the VR goggles. The set up is a large plexiglass tube, probably 25 feet in diameter with huge fans in the bottom producing winds of between 80 and 120 mph. At these speeds and the speeds will depend on body mass and size but is more than enough to get you airborne while in a horizontal position. Makes you thing about the hurricanes we have lately with winds of up to 140 mph. Don't worry. You have an instructor in there with you and everything is done over a wire platform. He's Vertical so the forces of levitation are much less and he's there to guide and teach you. Amy went first and she enjoyed it. Zayden went second with a bit of trepidation but was OK with it. Next time both really began to get into it and it was really fun. Third time, Amy was OK with the VR but something was wrong with Zayden's VR and he briefly panicked but I can see why. After setting out a few minutes and being offered the chance to do it again without the VR, he said he wanted to do it with the VR and it was a total sucess. This was one of the high points of the trip and something all of us look forward to doing again in the future.

Would this be ok for a person that has had knee injuries & is in need of a knee replacement?

Yes, that should not be an issue at all! Wa always suggest that you speak with you’re instructor prior to taking flight.

Can I bring food in if I'm just watching? Can I wear my own GoPro while flying?

Hi Pam, Yes, we require that our flyers are 3 years +, under 300lbs, not pregnant, and have no shoulder, neck, or back dislocations or hard casts. It makes flying a great…

I'm okay with heights and fast speeds, but absolutely cannot stand long drops. Actual skydiving would probably give me an aneurysm since I can't handle big dropping sensations. Would I be okay with this indoor skydiving?

Definitely! You enter the wind tunnel at ground level, and can stay less than 5 feet off the ground the whole time if you want! You'll still get the sensation of flying without going high.

Is it just me or does the pricing seem unsustainable? How can a family of 3 (or more) afford to pay $80 per person as the smallest package? I really want to treat my family to this, but I'm priced out of the game. Am I missing something?

It is definitely not an inexpensive thing to do! We went with a group over 5 and got a discount. After the discount I think for the 4 of us it was about $270. But it was a great experience and totally worth it. I think they have groupons sometimes…

I have 3 nephews, 17, 15, and 13. Would this be a good Christmas gift for them?

Yes! You'd be the best aunt EVER!!

It's like if someone crossed a SkyZone Trampoline Park with a McDonald's Playpen and slapped it with a coat of pastel paint and candy stickers. Sorry, CANDEE stickers. I will say that the prices are very reasonable. $25 buys you two hours of playtime. Grip socks are extra, food is extra, some of the games are extra. And the area itself is impressively clean, especially considering the number of young children traipsing about. On the negative side of things, however, the list is a bit longer. First, there's not a ton to do. Candeeland has limited space to work with and much of it is taken up by sitting areas for parents. The empty space could easily house 2-3 more small activities without sacrificing any existing areas. Still, what activities they do have are pretty intricate, with the multilevel play area having a nice array of padded areas for children to crawl through and a toddler area with nice pneumatic tube setup to delight the young. Next, even though the place is less than a year old, there's already some breakage of some of the area. There's a floor made up of touch screens that displays numerous games for kids to step on a play with. However, it's apparent that some larger kids have smacked a number of screens, causing them to go out or flicker. Which leads to my biggest issue. There are not that many people working here. This means that there are usually people minding the gate and checking if your kid is leaving with the right person. But, there aren't enough people on the floor to ensure safety or police older kids from doing things they shouldn't be doing. Candeeland really is a place that caters to those between 3-8 years of age. Older kids either don't fit on some of the slides or play a bit too rough with the environment. More than once, a screaming 12 year old almost barreled over my kid, knocked her off a slide, or hit her with one of the nerf axes. Sure, they balk when you glare at them. But, they just go back to screaming and thrashing about while their parents sleep oblivious in the corner. So, does my seven year old like Candeeland? Yes, she loved it and wants to come back. Did I like Candeeland? M'eh, not particularly. Still, I'm sure I'll be back eventually...

However, there are some safety issues that I believe need attention. My main concern is the 24-month-and-under area. During a busy Sunday visit, multiple older, more active children repeatedly ran through the space, jumped into the baby ball pit, climbed over the low walls, jumped down from the turf hill into the baby section, and played very close to crawling infants. One older child accidentally swung one of the baby toys and hit my 8-month-old on the head, knocking him over and causing him to cry. His mom immediately came into the infant section, apologized, and had her child apologize, which I appreciated. What concerned me most was seeing another child climb onto and walk along the wall separating the infant section from the front lobby--not even part of the play structure--and then jump down into the baby area. She accidentally kicked my husband on the way down while he was sitting beside our son. A staff member was standing nearby, clearly saw her walking on the wall, and simply walked away without redirecting her or saying anything. I understand that parents are responsible for supervising their own children. However, during our visit, several parents did not prevent their older children from entering and actively playing in the infant section. When staff directly witness behavior that is clearly unsafe, especially around crawling babies, I would expect them to step in. The current layout also makes the baby area feel like an extension of the larger play space. The low walls, open entrance, connecting tunnel, turf hill, and small age-limit sign--which is only visible from one side--seem to encourage older children to enter, climb, and jump into the area. We genuinely enjoy this place and will continue visiting, but I hope the owners consider clearer signage, more consistent staff redirection during busy periods, and possible future design changes to make the infant area safer and more clearly separated.

The kids have fun running place to place it makes me want to join them. If you haven't visit this playground it is a must. P.S. Grab some Apple Fries beforehand from the stand adjacent to the playground. Great snacking as you watch the play.

We celebrated our child's birthday here & it was amazing - 5 stars all around!…read more Mom Amore is CLEAN clean. It's a shoe-free facility and staff is doing a great job at keeping the facility sanitized and sparkling. So many fun play areas here, and everything is safe and thoughtfully designed. Lots of pretend play rooms--kitchens, doll houses, dress up--but also lots of space for big movement play, like slides and monkey bars. We loved that we could rent out the entire space for two hours. We didn't have to dodge other kids or manage sharing space, so parents got to kick back a bit and enjoy the party too knowing that it was only our familiar group of friends. Parking is easy for guests, plenty of amazing fun areas for littles to explore, and lots of fresh air and light to keep the space feeling good. We look forward to returning for regular play hours, and happy to share this gem with all of our friends.

They have everything little ones could want: dress-up outfits, a big slide, climbing areas, a play kitchen with food, and so much more. There's plenty to keep them entertained for a long time. The pricing is reasonable for what they offer, and my kids have so much fun every visit. It's also one of the only play places we've been to where they don't end up sick afterward -- which is a huge plus for any parent! Highly recommend for anyone with young kids.

If you've been thinking about making the jump, this is your sign to JUST DO IT!…read more Trust me... you'll be happy you did! My first ever skydive experience was nothing short of amazing! My instructor was Eddy and he was super awesome! He guided me throughout the whole experience and made sure the harness was properly secured! But most importantly, he made sure I had fun, and I did! I don't think this will be my last skydive and I am looking forward to returning in the future! Maybe jump from their other locations? ‍

I had an amazing and professional experience on my first skydive! My tandem instructor, David…read moreWalker, and outdoor photographer, Andries, were both friendly, skilled, and great at what they do. David was especially reassuring throughout the entire process, knowing I was a little nervous. He gave detailed instructions and was clearly very knowledgeable. Parking is available on-site, but it can get full and cramped. I parked across the street, where there was plenty of space. If your check-in time is delayed, they'll email you. There's also a restroom to the left of the entrance. Once inside, head upstairs to sign the digital waiver, then check in with the staff. I recommend bringing a bottle of water and a small snack, especially on busy days when you may wait 2-3 hours after check-in before your flight. Your mouth can get very dry during the ride up, so gum or candy prior helps. Lockers are available once your name is called. Come with patience- you definitely want everyone involved in the parachute setup process to take their time for safety. There are usually 4-5 skydivers per group. Once your name is called, you'll get fitted with your harness and then take a short bus ride to the aircraft. The boarding process was efficient. I was first off the plane, which gave me less time to overthink! The initial freefall is incredibly fast, so remember to breathe and keep your eyes open to fully enjoy it. David was an awesome tandem instructor, and I felt safe the entire time. I also appreciated the longer airtime to enjoy the sunset. The photos turned out great too! I highly recommend Gojump for their professionalism and friendly team.
