The Flamin' hot burger is probably the best burger I've ever had. It has the perfect amount of jalapeños. And the fries were absolutely delicious. The service was excellent and fast, and our server was the sweetest lady. We ordered our food, and it arrived in less than 5 minutes. It's a decently small restaurant, but the design is very interesting and retro. It's very simple, but effective. The lighting was good, and the restaurant was clean. 10/10 I will definitely be back next time I'm in Carthage.

This is a cute Route 66 diner. It was quick and the food was delicious. We tried the fried okra, onion rings, grilled chicken sandwich, open faced roast beef, and my children had the Mac & cheese and the chili cheese dog with fries. The service was excellent, staff was friendly. We would go again.

We went out for a family breakfast this morning, and we had never been to Iggy's. The restaurant itself is pretty cool since it feels like a retro diner. We were seated immediately and the service was great. My husband and I were both pleased with the food both in taste and amount for the price. My only complaint (and I should know better) is that the Meat Lover's Skillet came with cheese on it, and it isn't mentioned on the menu. Normally, this would be fine, but I am dairy free. I picked it off, but if you have a dairy allergy, just ask more questions than I did. Overall, it was quick and yummy! We'll be back!

I met my friend for breakfast and we ended up taking up this corner booth for over two hours. I haven't seen her in mumble-mumble years so we had a lot of catching up to do and on a Sunday morning, our waitress didn't mind that we sat here this long. The place wasn't all that busy. I chose the Mexican Skillet with my eggs poached. They were perfect, laid right on top with just the right amount of yolk to spill out onto the mixed hash. And oh boy, the jalapenos were HOT today. Quite a few of them and spicy enough that after a bit I was setting them to the side. Delicious! Coffee was great, food was great, service was great. Five stars. this place was pure retro in style.. the food was nothing fancy just your basic diner food done Great. They make their own Hot Sauce which is a great memory for Route 66.

Great breakfast especially the bacon, biscuits and gravy and coffee. Waitress needs to pay more attention to the ladies than the guys.

Hi Terry, I'm Marvin (the webmaster for Iggy's) they don't have a menu for GF, but I think some foods are GF. I suggest a quick call to the Diner to ask them…

We know we're there when we see their iconic neon sign crowning the entrance! Still a favorite with many, there was a steady stream of customers coming in and sitting around the counter-dining-only restaurant. Service, as in the past, was speedy and served with a smile. They are closed on Sunday and Monday. Our go to is always the tamales - mom's favorite. On this day I enjoyed a bundle, 3 @ $3.55, and a light splattering chili. Their tamales are more comparable to a Mississippi Delta tamale than the tamale you would eat at a Mexican restaurant. They always ask if you want dill pickles and sliced onions on the side - for an additional charge. Their griddle cooked burgers are good, too. Spaghetti Red is a signature dish that many swear by, has been on the menu forever, and is a Fred & Red's Classic. This dish is a layered plate of spaghetti noodles, topped with tamales and covered with chili. I've never been brave enough to try this favorite but make sure you're hungry! It's a plate full! They serve fries and tater tots, as well as, desserts. Also, the have frozen tamale bundles (of three), chili and other options to go! Check out their Carry Out menu!

Everything else was pretty good, mashed potatoes w/ wht grvy, corn, mozzarella sticks but there's something seriously wrong with the steak when you start looking forward to eating the fried concoction surrounding the steak during the meal.... you know what I'm sayin, I'd still be chewing that steak this very day ‍‍. Then... (clearing throat) let's talk about the catfish dinner w/ fries and slaw, I'm trying to be generous by saying it was a complete disappointment. The fries were wet, cold and undercooked and the coleslaw was warm and limp, completely disgusting even our cat debated eating the fish that wasn't eaten. It will be a minute before we order dinner again from Pistols I'm giving 2 stars, one star for each dinner, it was just sad. For the positive, the dinner roll was soft and warm, the mozzarella sticks were knocked outta the park, never tasted better If you are reading this review... we suggest to sticking to just breakfast at night hire a better cook, change the meat you are currently serving because there's no value in chasing away customers over bad cooks, lazy food checkers and crappy choices in food sourcing. The chicken fried steak was a nightmare past the awesome fried covering you dip it in, just down right inedible. The fish is awful and overcooked and your fries are undercooked, seriously what's going on there at night ??? cause it isn't cooking food correctly or even being checked before leaving, does anyone there try tasting what you're serving before you serve it??? EPIC IDEA

Great Breakfast Spot!…read more I'll start by admitting--I'm not usually a breakfast person. I like it fine, but I'd often rather wait until lunch to start eating for the day. We stopped here on our way back to Tulsa from Branson, and I'm so glad we did! My son had the pancake platter, which he absolutely loved. But the real star? The breakfast sliders. Oh my goodness--these are the BEST breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. The bread is perfect--fluffy on the inside, slightly crispy on the outside. I chose the sausage (bacon and ham are also options), and it was delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the cheese paired beautifully. You get two sliders per plate and can choose your side bread item--I went with the house potatoes, which were seasoned perfectly and had the same delightful fluffy-yet-crispy texture as the bread. I could only eat one slider myself and brought the other home for my husband--he texted me the next morning saying it was just as amazing. Our waitress (I'm sorry I forgot her name!) was so kind and welcoming. The place is small and charmingly decorated, adding to the cozy vibe. All in all, we had the best breakfast. This is definitely a must-stop and a place I'll recommend to anyone traveling this way. Highly recommend!
