Had a great time at this event hosted at Iguanas in Pico. The atmosphere was so fun and exciting. The service was great and the food was delicious. We ate shrimp mango ceviche, sliders, pizza, shrimp tempura roll and wing that were crispy just the way I like them. The drinks were so good and the perfect amount of alcohol in them. After an afternoon celebrating a friend's bday we ended up here. I contemplated giving less stars but the food was decent. That was it.

Had a terrible experience at Iguana's Sports Bar, unfortunately there were no sports. They claimed to have "technical difficulties" What pisses me off is that I called the day prior because I wanted to watch the UFC fights which started right when they opened and they said they would have it. I get there at 11, doesn't open for 10 minutes and when they finally do they don't have the fights or any sports on whatsoever. They just have shitty club music playing. Ordered food and drinks, waited an hour then took off because they couldn't get the fights on. Wasted my time and money, ended up going to Ojos Locos where they had the fights and as well as El Classico soccer game going on. read more

Beware!!!!!!! We went here for drinks. My sisters were there 30 minutes before us and had one drink before we got there. After one drink I got a bunch of calls from them saying that they didn't feel right and were really scared. By the time I got there they were blacked out and had no idea what was going on. After posting what they experienced to their friends circle more than 5 females informed them that they have had the same experience. 4 of them went to the hospital and tested positive for rohypnol aka rooffies. Iguanas Bar has a good restaurant structure and ample space inside and outside! Very lively, however when it comes to the cocktail "The Rabbit" I was let down... cocktail looked nothing like the picture, but the deal breaker was how overwhelming the beverage was with alcohol. It was hard to drink it and I ultimately ended up meeting a promoter for the bar who was kind enough to take my feedback and get me a new drink. Went in for NYE, $20 door fee and they had a special menu. The food tasted pretty good and the price was only $29.99 for a choice of meal: beef, chicken or salmon with two set sides, salad and bread. The drinks were good and the staff from security guard, server, and bartender were nice. Our small group felt safe even in a packed house. Went there for the 1st time. Went there to see the UFC fight. Ok had to pay $20 to get in, and it stated the AC was on! It was hotter than crap, and I had to go to the bar to get drinks and was assigned a server. She got our order wrong 2x and never came back to see how we were doing, had spoken to the owner and yes she comp me a bucket of beer which I wasn't drinking, but my party was. Complain several times about the heat and nothing was done about it. In short I paid $115 for crappy service and only received $40 entrance fee back from the owner. I will never go back there or recommend it to anyone. read more
