House margarita, not worth the $13
    Meme R.

What kept them from 5 stars? $6.76 fee to pay with a credit card, and their drinks were sub-par. The horchata taste like it was just sugar and milk, no cinnamon. The house margarita was horrible. I will end with the best part of our dinner. The food. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and seasoned perfectly. The carne asada tacos were nothing to brag about, but the shrimp tacos were delicious. The caldo de res hit the spot and had the perfect amount of meat to veggie ratio. The fried fish filet was cooked perfectly. Service was decent. Ambiance... it's a hole in the wall, nothing to brag or complain about. My recommendation is to order your food to go or save your money and skip the drinks, and have water with your meal. Keep in mind they charge for water.

Back room bar area is decent size. Looks like they can host parties.

Working in the area and stopped in for lunch today. Fairly new mariscos (seafood) restaurant and bar. Clean and nice décor. Dining area in front and a large bar in rear of building. Waitress told me they have live music and the bar usually picks up after work. SERVICE: Friendly and efficient. I was the first dine-in customer of the day and had the place all to myself through lunch, so I was treated very well. FOOD: Complimentary basket of chips and salsa roja. The salsa was smooth, not chunky, which is my preference. Just the right amount of heat for me, but I can see where some would think it's very spicy. I ordered the Camarones a la Diabla (the Devil's shrimp), covered in a dark, spicy red chili pepper sauce, and served with rice and beans, and green salad or veggies. Everything was delicious. However, I'll warn you that the spice level was right at this gringo's limit. Very hot, very good, but might be too much for some. I also ordered a Fish Taco and Shrimp Taco to go for my wife. She said they were both very tasty. I noticed a sign in the window advertising 3 for $5 tacos on Tuesdays (must go back). Parking is on-street and right now there's a lot of construction in the area, but don't let that dissuade you from visiting. Definitely worth it!

    Kids Chicken Nuggets

Found this hidden Gem. Food was actually pretty good. I had the breaded Shrimp and they were tasty. The rice was good along with the beans. My kids were happy to get the Chicken Nuggets and fries. Mom got the fish and my husband ordered the Seafood soup. Overall the food was good and the service was too. I believe Moises helped us and was very kind. The only thing is that parking lot is super small so you have to find parking on the street. The music was a little on the loud side but I enjoyed the music.

Asada tacos, chicken tacos and Pacifico

Good service and great happy hour specials! Great place to chill and get away from the heat.

Huevos Rancheros in the bottom and Tacos Gobernador in the top

I came here with my dad and the restaurant looked very nice and it even got a pool table and when we got seated I got the Tacos Gobernador and my dad got the Huevos Rancheros. I Give It 5 Stars!

    Fajitas mixtas

Recomendado 100% Fajitas mixtas, yo pedi mis frijolitos de la olla por antojo propio con mi agua de jaica muy fresca !!!

    Caldo Mixto de Mariscos

came over to look for a caldo because my friend recommended me this place and she was right. I try the caldo mixto and it was delicious, it came with rice and decent amount. They sell beer so I had to get one. I ate at the bar but they have a restaurant area too. I recommend this place I will definitely come back.

The idea was to enjoy my coffee while getting organized--paying bills, planning calendar events, and having the opportunity to focus without any distractions from my usual surroundings. In search of the perfect spot, I turned to Yelp, a reliable resource for uncovering hidden gems nearby. Upon stepping into the coffee shop, I was immediately greeted with warm hospitality, setting the tone for a delightful experience. The ambiance of the place was truly captivating--it was bright and welcoming, infused with an aesthetic charm that instantly put me at ease. I couldn't help but be intrigued by the design elements throughout the shop, which added an inviting touch to its overall atmosphere. Before I settled in, I asked the staff if I could snap a few photos to capture the essence of this delightful space. They graciously welcomed my request, and I was shown to my table, which, quite uniquely, was designated by a number--a small detail that I found charming. As I browsed the menu, I encountered a small conundrum: I wasn't entirely sure what to order. I wanted to break the mold and try something out of the ordinary. My curiosity was piqued by their exclusive offering of Café de la Olla--a traditional hot drink that piqued my interest right away. I ultimately settled on a hearty plate that included rice, beans, and enticing potato tostones, accompanied by two beautifully cooked sunny-side-up eggs. As I waited for my order, I noticed the café was filled with the sweet sounds of old-school music from the '60s and '70s, which only enhanced the cozy ambiance while I sipped my drink. Now, let's talk about the food! I must say, I rated the café itself a solid 4 out of 5 for its overall charm, while the rice earned a respectable 4 out of 5. The beans were rich in flavor and received a fair 3.9 out of 5. The potato tostones, delicately bathed in a savory red sauce, stood out with an impressive score of 4.3 out of 5--these are a must-try if you visit! And as for the sunny-side-up eggs, they were good, but hey, eggs are eggs, right? Overall, the entire experience was quite enjoyable, from the delightful food to the warm atmosphere. A special shout-out goes to Ana, whose exceptional customer service made my visit even more memorable. The combination of fantastic service, inviting aesthetics, and satisfying food truly made for a perfect morning retreat. I can't recommend this spot enough for anyone looking for a relaxing place to unwind and focus on what matters.

It was a cold day and we were hungry so we got the large Cocido De Res and the Costello De Puerco with a Pina agua Fresca. Cocido De Res - Very good, like my grandma used to make. A huge portion of beef in the bowl, good sides to add in so you can control the spice level. The Mexican rice was very flavorful and the tortillas were fresh. I don't care for corn tortillas but I liked them a lot here! Costello De Puerco - Great, delicious salsa verde. The chips went well with the beans but it was overall a great dish with a nice big portion. Pina Agua Fresca - They give you a huge cup, they even put the leftover in a to go cup and it lasted all day! It was delicious and fresh. Overall it was a solid 4/5, would come back if we're in the area and in the mood for Mexican food.
