I came with my boyfriend for dinner! I liked it!! I was surprised to see they had karaoke. People were singing, it was LOUD! The music was blasting, there was a pool table. I thought, whaaaatt?? This place is a restaurant AND dive bar? Honestly, I almost left because it was so loud, but we decided to stay. Ones side of the restaurant is more for dining, the other side is pool haul, full bar and karaoke chaos. We enjoyed the salsa and chips. The salsa is house made and really was delicious. I I ordered the pescado empanizado (fried filet). It was good! It had a great, crunchy coating. It was a large portion. The seasoning was very good. It came with beans, rice and a small salad. Beans and rice were tasty too. It even came with tartar sauce, that I think is also home made. It was delicious and also had good depth of flavor. I will end with the best part of our dinner. The food. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and seasoned perfectly. The carne asada tacos were nothing to brag about, but the shrimp tacos were delicious. The caldo de res hit the spot and had the perfect amount of meat to veggie ratio. The fried fish filet was cooked perfectly. Service was decent. It was one of the hotter days of the summer and I was hoping to eat in an air-conditioned place. When I got here, they just had fans going. I ordered ice water for me and my wife and the waiter brought us water bottles. The waiter claimed that they only do bottles because they don't have drinking water to give us in a glass. They don't have drinking water? And the bottles were $3.75 each and it was labeled clear on the menu that they don't do refills. With just us two, that's almost $8 just for a generic brand of water. So on the hottest day of the summer, I'm stuck in a no A/C restaurant and I have to pay per bottle just for water. Working in the area and stopped in for lunch today. Fairly new mariscos (seafood) restaurant and bar. Clean and nice décor. Dining area in front and a large bar in rear of building. Waitress told me they have live music and the bar usually picks up after work. SERVICE: Friendly and efficient. I was the first dine-in customer of the day and had the place all to myself through lunch, so I was treated very well. FOOD: Complimentary basket of chips and salsa roja. The salsa was smooth, not chunky, which is my preference. Just the right amount of heat for me, but I can see where some would think it's very spicy. I ordered the Camarones a la Diabla (the Devil's shrimp), covered in a dark, spicy red chili pepper sauce, and served with rice and beans, and green salad or veggies. Everything was delicious. However, I'll warn you that the spice level was right at this gringo's limit. Very hot, very good, but might be too much for some. I also ordered a Fish Taco and Shrimp Taco to go for my wife. She said they were both very tasty. I noticed a sign in the window advertising 3 for $5 tacos on Tuesdays (must go back). Found this hidden Gem. Food was actually pretty good. I had the breaded Shrimp and they were tasty. The rice was good along with the beans. My kids were happy to get the Chicken Nuggets and fries. Mom got the fish and my husband ordered the Seafood soup. Overall the food was good and the service was too. I believe Moises helped us and was very kind. 1st and last time going there. Not only do they not have a full bar..their staff aren't bartenders but do such a job very poorly.. as well as waiting tables. The girls have no knowledge of mixed drinks. One of them had to ask another how to make one. We got sparkling soda w a hint of grapefruit soda and a shot of a tequila we never heard of. That wasn't the Paloma we asked for. Then we asked for a beer..the "waitress/bartender barely acknowledged us..walked away and we never got the beer. We're never going back. Management needs to stop cutting corners and hire an actual bartender to STAY in the bar and the waitresses to wait tables. read more

I went here for the first time and ordered the fried tilapia plate. It came with salad, rice, beans, and tortillas. The whole plate tasted perfect. The fish was seasoned and cooked perfectly. I even appreciate that they packed the cold salad on the side instead of with the hot fish. While I waited for my order, I had a michelada at the bar and it was perfect! Not only was the food delicious, but the service and hospitality was out of this world. We tried quite a bit of dishes in our party of 5, steak, camarones costa azul, camarones empanisados, enchiladas, rice, beans etc. everything was delicious and great quality. The manager was so sweet and accommodating. The A/C was out in half of the restaurant and he moved us to the side where it was cooler, and he apologized several times for the AC being broken even though none of us felt uncomfortably warm or anything. Yummm...is what I'm currently humming while typing this. Probably our new go-to mexican food especially for late night grub hub (did not dine-in). We got fish tacos, asada burrito (not wet), cheese enchiladas, and horchata. Not disappointed in anything. The sauce for the fish tacos and horchata were especially great. Went in at 8:30pm on a Thursday evening. Walked in the music was blasting with people singing. Wasn't greeted at all. Sat down at a booth and waited 10 mins for anyone in the restaurant to acknowledge myself and my plus 1. Kitchen has a cook and didn't bother to let anyone know there were customers. Besides that the staff seems to be having fun with each other singing and probably consuming alcohol because they didn't once walk to the dinning area which is 10 steps from the bar. Owner needs to see how his staff is on certain days. Mind you didn't seem like anyone other than the staff was in the bar sections. Gotta give it a 1 star because it won't let me post without it. read more

I usuall stay away from these cause the sauce is usually agressively hot...but these were BOMB..The flavor was something that I found between a mole and an enchilada sauce, flavor was on point !! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !! The beand were creamy and delicious..
