I made an appointment online. When I arrived, I waited 10-15 minutes and then some x-rays were performed, I then waited 1.5 hours in an exam room and never saw any staff. They turned on a TV and left me alone. When someone finally came in (still not a dentist), she told me that the dentist would hopefully be in soon. She said the other patients had been there since 10 am (it was 4 pm) and were just being seen. I waited another half hour and then left. I never saw a dentist. After waiting several hours, I decided I'd rather be in pain at home in front of the TV than alone and in pain in an exam room in front of a TV.

She is also kind and greets me warmly each time I come in. The dental hygienist is good about explaining everything she is doing or will do each step of the way. Also, every time I call the office I am greeted by the friendliest receptionists who are not only friendly but also prompt and efficient. I never feel judged here and always feel listened to. Plus the TVs with streaming service and location by the Third Ward and Screaming Tuna are all nice bonuses, if you ask me!

Ordered a panoramic xray with out getting pre authorization even though I had one done the year before. After the xray expressed great concern with the blockage in my sinus. I was able to get an emergency appointment with an ENT doctor at Summit. he looked at the xray pictures i took with my phone and laughed. "I really dislike when inexperienced dentist do this! This is common in 25% of population and poses no threat what so ever." I called Delafield dentist immediately after my appointment to tell them of the doctors opinion. It was like deaf ears! Dental insurance would not cover the xray. Said it was a medical claim. Medical would not cover the $275.00 saying it was unauthorized and/or not pre-authorized. After 18 months of this with them, they sent me to collections. I have shared all the details with two of the accounts receivable team. Both were sympathetic to what happened and neither felt I should have to incur this cost. On top of that...they wanted me to book a deep cleaning for 2 teeth. I mad an appointment for it and my follow up for 6 months. Two weeks before the deep cleaning appointment I had to cancel it due to overseas travel. I received a voicemail that they would cancel it and my next scheduled cleaning. I was told for legal reasons they could not clean my teeth before the I had the deep cleaning! I called when I got back. Obviously my cleaning appointment was gone, i needed to wait another 4 months past my scheduled cleaning to get a new appointment. Then was told they WILL NOT schedule it until after the 2 tooth deep cleaning was completed. I found a new dentist! What a shame to treat a client like that. For this reason I can not recommend this dentist and practice to anyone.

I thought this was laughable considering others HAVE to want to know pricing before just mindlessly scheduling. This was a top recommendation for me on my insurance website and I will be reviewing this office on their website to let others know not to have their hopes too high. Waste of time! I am impressed he's installing a clean air leaf filtration system that cleans the air every 8 minutes, really seems Dr. G is taking huge steps to make sure that the office is staying safe as possible. Have worked in Dental before has made me very picky about my teeth and unfortunately I had a bad fall where I had lost two and have two that need root canals, he has never made me feel bad about myself and is helping me get a realistic treatment plan together. His staff is highly qualified, most are in school themselves for Dental.

We were overcharged and when I called they apologized and told me the service was coded wrong. They promised a refund just to wrap me into a bureaucracy hell. Cheryl, my hygienist, and Dr. McDonald and Ashley have been the most amazing team over the last year, in particular as I cracked two teeth as a result of extreme stress. They guided me through a very painful process and made sure my mouth feels and looks perfect at the conclusion of the work. The work performed is of high quality (as are the labs that they use - for crowns, implants, mouth guards). They have stayed on top of technology so imaging is easy, painless and comprehensive, including 3D digital models. They show the utmost care to their patients before, during and after procedures. The staff is friendly but still professional. The work above all else is thorough and exceedingly well executed. My husband has also had good experiences over the years (although he has needed less dental work, thankfully!) but as a family, we are beyond pleased. I couldn't recommend this dentist more highly. There are some cases when work is authorized by insurance at a certain expected amount, but the actual charges are different. I have never had an issue with this, as it's clearly explainable (the procedure had to go a different way, or the insurance covered something at a higher percent). The clinic "banks" any overpayment for us, and we use it for any charges we might accrue going forward. They have offered to reimburse us as well, but with a family that goes to the same dental clinic, keeping the overpayment there simplifies things for my purposes and I appreciate that they are willing to do that. Highly recommend the team at Modern Touch!
