I was running around Kauai and did a great hike off of Waimea Canyon to the Na Pali coast. Long story short, got very wet, and it turned out that my cracked iphone XS was not as waterproof as I thought (fresh water). Dryed it out the best I could, but the next day it would not take a charge (just the battery icon came on, but no progress). Texted iHammy, and dropped it off at his place in Lihue after coordinating. Two days later he let me know it was fixed at a wonderful prices (as compared to the quotes I got from folks in Massachusetts). I was able to recover all my photos from the hike, do one last icloud sync before moving to the new phone I got at the Verizon store that morning. Having that phone back in working order made the transition so much easier given that I had a few multi-factor authentication tools on the phone that needed to be transfered over. Long story short, it would not have been the end of the world if the phone was not fixed, but it was lovely that Hammy was able to do so. read more

Hamilton was great. I reached out in the morning and he arranged a time with me to come to my condo when I got back from the days activities so I didn't lose the whole day. He has a professional van which made me feel safe. I met him in the parking lot, it took him about 20 minutes to fix it despite him telling me it would take 45. He texted me when it was done and I paid by Venmo after. A+ experience! My only negative is that it was a little pricey compared to the continental states, but I've learned to expect that on the island and for the convenience of him coming to me same day, I highly recommend!
