The Doctors I met with in 2014, 2017 and 2022 (today) I believe a couple, are very nice and know exactly what you need. I need to see them more often though and not wait years because my pressure may need to be increased after so many years and I definitely need a newer Cpap machine. I have an appointment at the end of the month for a new sleep study. I'm very excited to get this part of my health stabilized again because it's affecting my everyday performance. Thank you Dr. Mehndiratta (both) for taking care of your patients so well!

I found Sleep Better Maryland back in May 2020. My cardiologist had ordered a home sleep test and…read morewas very dismissive when I asked why, I then found out that the results were in when I received a call to be fit for a CPAP mask. I was furious. Knowing how I sleep, think alligator in a death roll, I knew I was not a candidate for a CPAP, and I also didn't want to be burdened by the costs and maintenance that the machine demands. So, I started looking for a better option and managed to learn about oral appliances for sleep apnea. On my first visit, Dr. Parmar spent the time necessary to explain apnea and more importantly what my results were and what they meant. I was finally being treated like someone with a brain who deserved answers and explanations. An exam, photos and scan (so cool) followed as the first steps toward treating my apnea and freedom. Dr. Parmar was patient even though I wasn't the best patient at first. The adjustment and pulse-ox tests were annoying the first time around. I went back after I broke my device (it did a triple lindy in off the sink) had it sent off for a repair and as it had been 3 years repeated the sleep study and ordered a new device. I now have a backup should something happen, which was nice as the new device broke in short order due to a design issue. My 2nd sleep study, adjustments, and pulse-ox tests all went much better than the first time, the devices were smaller, had fewer wires and were much easier to use. My oral appliance is easy to care for, just brush it and soak once a week, it's easy and comfortable to use, and most importantly it works based on both the pulse-ox study and my wife's lack of complaints about snoring when I use it. Easy to pack and travel with, no issues with TSA unlike a friend who has his CPAP disassembled each flight.

I completed a sleep study and a titration study here. Clear guidance was given before the sleep…read morestudy and ample calls to confirm were made, because it is not just a typical visit and the study is costly. You should see how much the bill was to insurance! All billing-related matters were cleared with my insurance and with me before providing any services, and I appreciate the due diligence and transparency. At arrival, you pull a ticket at the automated kiosk at the gate to activate the gate arm to allow passage. There was no one in the booth, but I didn't expect anyone to be. Parking prices are clearly posted, but Comprehensive Sleep Care Center validates your parking to $0. There is a lot of surface parking (no garage) and the lot is well lit and at the corner of a fairly well-traveled intersection, so it's not creepy or spooky at all at night even if there wasn't a soul in sight. The exterior of the building is swanky, clean, well maintained, adequately lit, and has upscale decor and vibe. Getting in wasn't too easy, and Datawatch Systems, the vendor that provides after-hours door security and access to this building, had inattentive personnel both times I connected with them by pressing the button at the front pedestal that houses ADA push pad (incredibly long wait with the phone ringing over and over) and then when someone picked up, they sounded like they had just woke up. This was 9 PM. The interior was also very clean and well maintained. There were some cleaning staff that just watched me (probably not permitted to allow strangers to enter) as I struggled with getting someone on the phone to let me in. The lobby of the office is fairly small, with seating for about 5 or 6 people. An attendant came out right away, named Yitz. He was cordial, attentive, professional, and provided clear and confident answers to my questions. You first get your parking ticket validated. Then you are asked to take a COVID rapid test and test negative before you're permitted to continue. The process on-site and next steps were clear. I was assigned one room for the sleep study and a different room for the titration study. Both had their own thermostats, a fan, a TV, a nightstand, an arm chair, a queen-size bed, and plenty of blankets. I waited about 15-20 minutes for the attendant to come hook me up with all the wires for the first study and about 45 minutes for the second study. There were others getting similar studies done, but in their own rooms so privacy is maintained. When you're connected to all the electrocardiography wired pads attached to wires on your legs, chest, and head as well as the strain gauges to measure your breathing (takes about 20 minutes), it's incredibly uncomfortable and awkward to move around so it is quite a challenge to fall asleep but evidently I did well so it might not be as bad as you might think. You could use your phone or read a book, but really the best path is to go to sleep and as normally as you can. In the morning, the technician removes all the pads/wires and if your chest and legs are hairy, hair will rip off. You have the option to shower on site (they provide towels, soap, and shampoo) or just go home. The liquid adhesive that goes on your head to measure brain activity is nasty and feels disgusting on your fingers, so I recommend showering on site. Make sure your parking ticket is validated, or else risk paying $10 to exit. As of mid-December 2022, they don't require masks anymore, but feel free to wear one if it makes you feel more comfortable.

The sleeping room was shabby with scuffed walls, a damaged headboard, and a broken bedside lamp. Most unsettling was the pillow I received, which was badly stained a deep, sickly yellow, leaving me with the impression that the place was unhygienic. In addition, no air conditioning came into the room when the door was closed, making the room warm and stuffy. Needless to say, I didn't sleep at all, making the "study" a waste of time. Further, there were billing issues after the fact. My payment wasn't credited to my account for several weeks so I received late payment notices! I don't plan to go there or use their services ever again.

His office and wait were a nightmare. I was used to a 2 to 3 hour office visit. I never expected a Dr. Office to run that efficiently, that quickly, AND address all of the issues currently and coming up in the future and managed to do everything from checkin to leaving practice in under an HOUR!. This is also the first Doctor to inquire about my headaches. He said, "I can fix that!" and he did! I haven't had more than 7 headaches in over 8 months! I used to get 3 to 8 a day. (I never brought them up because I assumed that was "normal" since I had nothing to compare it to. The disorder I have is like that... it's very strange and VERY HARD to manage ) I have called and spoken to the staff up front. They remembered me, and I remembered their voices from over the phone. I know it was actually office because they commented on my glasses when I asked if their's were fixed yet. Nice, clean, and friendly staff in addition to an amazing doctor, Dr. Siddiqui. He knows what my condition is (without having to Google it first) and understands and truly cares about trying to help my quality of life. I highly recommend him for anyone with issues that require the doctor to listen to your needs and want to help you achieve your goals. So disorders there isn't much you can do, so to find one to actually "Fix" something is a true miracle. I did happen to take to take a photo from out front. I parked my car and looked out the window, and saw something very unintentionally hysterical. That alone helped what would have been a very hard day indeed. The picture is from the parking spot in front of the stairs to the building. It is not of the business, but it did make me laugh. Everything in life is all about "Perspectives".
