Wow, how dang long can 14 wait staff folks stand and yak? Waited over an hour... not acceptable when there is with so many servers doing nothing? And btw, the over hour wait and STILL no food. Took almost a half an hour to even take our order after asking for help it only took about 8 minutes to even be acknowledged after that. Then about one hour and ten minutes food is brought to the table and I suppose we are supposed to eat with our fingers since we weren't even offered silverware! read more

It was an ihop. No surprises. Food was pretty good, waiter was nice, it was freezing today.

We ordered food & drinks for delivery from the IHop in Ashland, KY. IT WAS TERRIBLE!! My husband's eggs were hard as rocks & they were supposed to be over easy. I ordered 2x2x2 & it was MAYBE one scrambled egg. Bacon burnt on one end, raw on the other. And after looking at the receipt we were charged $4 for a sweet tea that was NOT sweet & $5 for a Pepsi that was diet! To say that we will NEVER order from them again is an understatement!!!! read more

This is a long overdue review, as I'm catching up on my to do list. It was about a year ago (2024). I was visiting from out of town and took my family to breakfast here, because we always loved going to IHOP. My nephew ordered steak tips. He didn't look excited, but he had eaten about half of it when I asked him if he was sure it was good. He was trying to be nice and not complain, but he finally admitted it was pretty bad. I gave it a taste as well, and it was pretty disgusting. It tasted like someone poured a cup of grainy sugar on it, and it had a weird flavor. Like maybe someone ran out of the real sauce and improvised, or it was just a bad batch at the bottom of the sauce pan or something. First of all, I'm used to savory steak. So I would like a heads up, a big clue somewhere, if the steak tips I'm ordering are super sweet. However, we all like sweet sauce. So when properly balanced it should still be tasty. So I have no idea what they did to those steak tips. I complained about it. The waiter refused to give any refund, saying this is what they're supposed to taste like, and said I could order a new dish but I would have to pay for it. I was out trying to have a good time with family and wanted to keep the mood good, and I wanted everyone to enjoy themselves. So I ordered and paid for a second dish, to replace that one. But that was a poor customer service experience. Instead of providing compensation, they basically made extra money off of their mistake. And if I weren't there with family that I don't see often, I would've made a much bigger fuss. Other than this, though, the rest of the food was good. But next time I'll go somewhere else. read more

I hadn't been in this IHop for quite some time, we went for dinner and got there about 7PM. First we waited several minutes to have someone seat us (even though there wasn't anyone else waiting). When we were seated we waited, I'm guessing ten minutes before anyone came to get our drink orders. After the waitress brought our drinks she said that she was not our waitress and that our waitress would be with us shortly. We waited probably another ten minutes or more for the waitress to come tour table despite the fact that they were not crowded at all. I'm thinking there were only five tables including us. We were able to place our orders then it took about twenty minutes to get our food. The food tasted good but everything was luke warm at best. The dining room looked like they hadn't swept up, there were several tables needing to be cleaned but they did start clearing them about the time we were finished. I'm not downing the food or service so please don't think that. The staff seemed to be really unorganized and generally it seemed there wasn't much supervision. I have been here many times in the past and had good service and food, this may have been an off night. read more

Food was good but entire staff was high and smelled like marijuana. They were joking about how good their "vibes" were after their break and talking about when they thought it would wear off. They all barely had their eyes open and were moving slow in everything they did. I came in over an hour before closing. And they were closing everything down and said they couldn't make certain things because they already cleaned that part of the kitchen. My server stared at the wall while taking my order and didn't even acknowledge us. She also brought us a pitcher of water to fill our own cups. Just a little unprofessional. read more

I always enjoy IHOP. I am glad that you can still get a decent breakfast. They are promoting burgers but there is nothing like egg, pancakes, and bacon. I highly recommend IHOP. The food is good and the service was good as well. IHOP is reasonable priced and you get a great meal. It is also in a good location, right off the main road with a strip mall nearby. It was good this time. Though the last visit was the worst. The waiter ignored us for over 20 minutes, and kept talking to other customers about religion, and politics.. among other topics that shouldn't be discussed in public. We left before the food came out, which was over 40 minutes. I'm glad this time was better. read more

One of the cleanest, well run and quality iHops I've visited. Staff were polite, diligent with wearing masks and cleaning each table and seats. Our waiter, Dylan, was great, got our orders accurate and the food was brought out in a timely manner. The food was amazing, I would recommend the country fried steak. All in all a quality establishment that I would recommend and visit again. If I could give it six stars I would! read more

The food is ok, but they really had a major problem with insects. First the gnats, then a fly or two, but when the roach crawled out from beside the silverware, I almost screamed! That's just nasty! First off, I'm not writing this review to talk about the food. C'mon, It's IHOP, we all know what it tastes like. The real purpose of this review is to talk about my waiter, Chris. Chris kept it one hundred and was a real G the entire time. He made sure my drink was always full, but wasn't overly annoying about it refilling it after every sip, he was polite, good looking and had a pleasant Brooklyn accent. When he brought me my food, oh god when he brought me my food. Chris could've served me dog shit and I still would've been happy to have him as my waiter. I pride myself on the amount of food I can consume and Chris noticed this strength of mine when he talked me up as I finished the last bite of my Big Steak Omelette. "That omelette didn't stand a chance did it boss?" I want to say this trip to IHOP changed my life for the better. It opened my eyes to the realization that good people still exist in this world because Chris is one of them. Not only did Chris make me feel like the most important customer in the restaurant, he made me feel like his friend. He cracked good jokes, told funny stories and made the overall experience a good one. All while cleaning his section of the restaurant might I add. It was a slow night around 10 P.M. so he wasn't ignoring any customers, my friend and I were the only people in the restaurant. To top it all of Chris wore a Skagen watch, a beautiful one at that. I found myself ordering, getting my food and finishing it within an hour however I lost track of the time because of how badass of a waiter Chris was and it turns out I was there for almost three hours and I regret none of it. To sum up this review, I will try my best to not eat at my local IHOP unless Chris is my waiter. He's an all around class act guy who deserves a raise. read more
