The only reason this place got a 1 star review is because of the server. The food was terrible, we waited, last I looked, 25 minutes if not longer for our milkshakes. I can understand if they're busy, but they weren't. We were one of 5 tables in the entire place. Would not recommend. read more

Worst customer service and food. Got the order wrong twice. Needed a diet drink but neither marked nor identified. Shorted fries, plus wrong size. Burgers were greasy and no toppings as ordered. The worst fast food ive ever been to. I came through and ordered two number sevens amd two number eights. They didn't give us the right buns or add the pickles and mayo to ome of my number eights that I paid to add on. I went back through and told the cashier that my order was wrong. She was very rude and fingered our food right infront of us. We asked for a refund and she said they don't do refunds. When we asked to have new burgers made the window was slammed in our face. Not only was our food wrong, but the service was the rudest I've ever had. This place is OK. There is nothing fast about them so if you do decide to go down expect speedy service. My biggest gripe with them is for the amount of time it takes to prepare the food you think it would be have a little better quality. Also the fries always text like they been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. I definitely wouldn't recommend going to eat here. read more

I thought this place was already on Yelp, but I had to add it again. Weird. This has to be the worst Steak 'n Shake I've ever been to. I've ate here a total of five times since they opened. Each time, I've hoped that they've found their groove, but they still haven't. The food is just bland. I will say that out of all the times I've ate here, this is the first time my order has actually was actually correct. (The first time was opening day, so they can have a pass on that one) If you're in the area, don't waste your time or money here. Go to the one in Barboursville. It's exceptionally better. read more

Love that you could go in to eat however; our mean was messed up from the back. Whoever was in the kitchen cooking got our order wrong. We ordered bacon cheese steak burger with small cheese fries. Ok so it took 30mins just to order a coke which I had to flag down a waitress just to do that. Then it took another 30mins to receive said drink and place an order when order gets to table there are no fries which is weird cause all burgers come with fries. The food overall is at a McDonalds level. The only thing worth getting is the shakes if your willing to wait the hour it would take. I gave this 1 star only because -10 isn't an option. Food is fine for the price. Shakes are pretty thick. BUT here is my complaint. If you decide to eat outside in the table area (nice they offer this), you get no refills - you get none of their "dine in" deals. This was my First time eating at a Steak N Shake. It will be my last! Service was Horrible! They put everybody on one ticket after we told her how to separate the two. Placed an order to go. Two prime steakburgers and a triple steakburgers with cheese. When I got home one burger had two bottom buns and the triple was a bun and all the toppings but NO MEAT! How do you not put three patties on a bun? It's not worth the wait and headache. read more
