I'm always a fan of IHOP and I'm so glad that Delano finally has something else other than Denny's and Perkos. In my opinion here in Delano, this is probably the better breakfast spot. The staff is very friendly and they actually look like they love their jobs. Even management is fantastic. I always see their manager walking around greeting customers and making sure everyone is happy. Now I know you're probably reading this and probably thinking... how is this chain restaurant even a 5 star. I happen to love breakfast and breakfast is my favorite meal, so it's no surprise I would rate a breakfast chain 5 stars. The pancakes here at IHOP is better than the other places and they are fluffy, thick and they taste delicious. This IHOP stays busy, but it's good for Delano because Delano is finally growing. It's clean and it's located near Walmart. It was built in a nice busy area and parking is not a factor. There's so many places to park and I have never had to wait more than 20 minutes for a table and our parties range from 4 - 10 at times.

Thankfully Hole in One Cafe provided us with a place to not only gather and catch up but fill our bellies with DELICIOUS food. I am a chilaquiles snob and have actually stopped ordering because more often than not they disappoint. Thankfully my friend ordered the red chilaquiles and WOW!! Sauce was perfect and just the right amount was used to adequately cover the homemade chips but still leaving some chips slightly crispy. And the side of fried panela cheese was amazingly tasty! I ordered the most basic dish on the menu, beans, potatoes and eggs. Though simple, it was beyond satisfying and I especially appreciated that the honored my request to pop the yolk. Another friend ordered the breakfast burrito and was equally pleased with her order. Service was very friendly and attentive and are server regularly checked in to refill our coffee. It became comical. Coca de botella? None. Tried ordering a mixed drink and they didn't have the watermelon syrup needed for the drink. We had to settle for water. Ordered a guacamole and flautas as appetizers. Both were lacking so much! We fixed it with lemon & salt. But they weren't amazing. Chicken in the flautas was bland. Moving on to our entrees: Chiles Rellenos OUT OF THAT. Posole? "THATS A SEASONAL ITEM", I finally asked "what do you have?!" Finally settled on chile verde and camarones... The chile verde was not like it has been in the past. Missing the deep rich color and flavor and the pork was almost, shredded? We don't come often but where is the consistency? I wish their business well, I just hope this was a bad night.

Every time I'm back in town, it's one of my go-to spots for Mexican food. It's the kind of place where you can sit down, relax, and really enjoy good food while catching up with friends and family. I usually come by for lunch, and it never disappoints. My go-to order is the beef and chicken flautas, which always come out crispy and flavorful, served with rice and beans that hit the spot every time. And I have to mention the horchata, it's sooo good, especially with that small ice they serve it with. It just tastes extra refreshing and perfectly complements the meal. On the weekends, I switch it up and go for the menudo, which is always satisfying and something I genuinely look forward to. It's one of those comfort dishes that keeps me coming back. I also really appreciate the little things, like the free chips and salsa they bring out. It's a simple touch, but it adds to the overall experience. The restaurant itself has a nice, welcoming atmosphere, and the service is consistently great; friendly, attentive, and always making you feel taken care of. Overall, Jenny's Cafe is more than just a restaurant to me, it's a place full of good memories, great food, and a reason to keep coming back whenever I'm in town.

Turns out its about 35 min away from me, um ok worth the drive. After reading the reviews I read they sell out pretty quickly and I realized how right they were. When I arrived there was just a few options left and not knowing what to get I watched a customer come in and make an order, to which I of course responded with I want what she ordered. You cant go wrong when you watch what is everyone's favorite. I got lady fingers, sweet cream rolls and banana filled what I believe to be a lumpia wrapper. 6 lady fingers, 2 rolls and 2 banana yummys for $7. A steal! They only take cash so be prepared for that. The lady fingers are bread with sugar coating(not at all like the Italian lady fingers that are more cookie like). They were still warm ftom being fresh made and 3 for $1 how can you pass this up. Soft, sweet bread and a hot cup.of coffee. I would be in heaven. The sweet cream rolls were soft, and pillows. When I got home I put some of my Amish made Cinnamon Pear Jam that I wrote about in a previous review and it leveled up and it felt illegal eating it. The banana lumpia dessert was good, of the choices it wasnt my favorite but im not the biggest fan of fried food. It was crispy, and the sliced bananas inside was cooked nicely and not mushy. The banana flavor was subtle but there. I would have rather had a stronger banana flavor but to me the fry oil was overpowering. The bakery has been there for ao long, do not expect an over priced fancy bakery with mid products. Youre going to an older bakery(been around since the 80s and the building probably hasnt changed much) where they know how to bake the tried and true Filipino desserts and breads without gimmicks or trends, and because they keep interior/exterior basic they can keep the prices down. This is the kind of bakery you come to for quality old school products and service, everyone is helpful and kind and they deliver the most delicious breads and desserts. I will be back soon to try their Pan de Coco!!

Combo: one Chile Relleno and one Enchilada. The chile relleno is stuffed with cheese and egg battered and fried. And choice of flour tortillas or homemade corn tortillas. I picked the homemade corn tortillas. Everything was delicious. Enchilada had a decent amount of beef and chile relleno had a generous amount of cheese. The homemade corn tortillas stole the show tho..piping hot and nice and fluffy. I highly recommend these.
