This was the SLOWEST AND MOST ALOOF service I have ever received in any dining experience. The waiter barely ever came to the table. The groups order came out in 3 waves separated by close to 5 minutes each. I was informed as the 2nd wave of food came out that the side for my child was not available. Would they have not known that earlier? My salad had brown lettuce and the chicken was hard and dry. The cheese was so salty in the salad that I had to pick around it. Other person in our party had food that was barely warm, not even warm enough to melt any butter on it and he had food in the first wave. It took 40 minutes from the time we ordered to start receiving food and there is only one other small group of people in the whole restaurant. So not busy in the least. Last time we came here the service was good and that is why we came back. After this trip though we will not be back. This has been horrible. To get a refill of any drink was a 20 minute endeavor IF we could get the guys attention. Just an all around horrible experience this time. Love this place. We stop here every time when we are heading out for camping. Big parking to park for the RV and it's right off the freeway I don't what they use in the pancake batter but OMG the cakes are the best. This place always has great service. Love the way the put the whole coffee pot on the table and no need to chase someone down for refills The price is a little steep but worth it. The place is always clean, service is fast and food is always been served to the table hot Most of all my kids love it. Great family restaurant. We really enjoy eating here. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. We are senior citizens so that is always nice. They always do the eggs just right or if not they will quickly fix them. She outright embarrassed a customer tied at accusing her of not being able to pay when her son was standing next to her and a line of customers out the door. Went here for breakfast on a busy Saturday morning. We were seated within a minute or so. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door by the manager. We were greeted again by our waitress as soon as we got our table. Excellent service. Food was really good! I have been here years prior and food was not fresh. My food was just the right temperature. Manager came by and she wanted to make sure everything tastes great. I like that and feel it's necessary in the restaurant business. IHOP is making a comeback! So there was a bit of a wait on a Sunday morning which is to be expected. They told us 35 min and to our surprise it was just 20. This place was busy once seated the staff too great care of us and as if she only had 3 tables when she probably had 13. Pick up service here is unacceptable. I ordered online and paid online. I was given a time for when my order would be ready. I arrived at the time indicated and walked up to the desk stating I was there for a pick and gave my name. The host checked the table with waiting orders, but did not see my order and stated he'll check the back, but he did not move, instead answered the phone to take an order. Then some people arrived he went to seat them. During this time move orders were place on the table, but no announcement occurred. The host came back took a couple of reservations. Another person arrived and also stated they were here for a pick up, the host went into the back and got them there order and then went to seat someone else. I tired of waiting for my order that is now 10 minutes late checked the table saw my order, grabbed and left. Sad when you go into a restaurant that was normally busy on a Friday night and it's dead. I ordered corned beef hash with eggs over medium with pancakes. Told the server if they come with the meal or not. Someone else brings the food, eggs over well pancake cold. I mean to touch cold. Butter doesn't even melt. I tell the server she say "OH". No, I'm sorry nothing. Same reaction from the cashier. I expected to hear sorry would you like a hot one. By the time she came back I has eaten the over cooked eggs. This server when taking the order she has to read from the menu says she is new. Not she has been there for at least 2 years. Service was 'outstanding'. My waiter, Remington, was one of the best servers I've encountered in years! He knew the menu, was fast (not pushy), courteous, and had great manners. I noticed Remington checked on all of his tables at least twice and helped out the other server working with him. How cool is that! :o) I had the hamburger with seasoned fries. Burger was decent in size, juicy & flavorful. Cooked 'just right'. The fries were 'ok'. Not sure what the seasoning was, but it was pretty bland. No salt or pepper in the seasoning. hhmmm? I also had the 'side salad' for an additional 99 cents. Well worth the money. I was greeted at the door by a miss Tiffany, who sat us right away and got us a toddler's crayon coloring set. When the high chair was covered in old food from a previous guest, she got somebody to help right away! Ryan was our waiter and his energy was wonderful. He started us with drinks right away and gave us a perfect amount of time to look over menus. I was happy to order salad (at 8 am, been up all night) with substitutions with no problem at all! My husband got the Stuffed French toast and my son the chocolate happy face pancakes. Everything was DELICIOUS !!! Ryan checked on us often to make sure our meal was perfect and to see if their was anything else he could help us with. He seem to be working the entire section and I think he did an amazing job. had dinner here last night with the kid. It was kids eat free time but mine is 22 and they said no...LOL The waitress was very nice and helpful. My daughter and I ordered the pot roast. The girl at the front desk was really sweet, polite, helpful. The waitress, Ashley, hated her job and had no problem showing it. She was rude, very short, and didn't crack a smile once. There was no good morning, no hello, no how are you today. All we got was, you know what you want? Anything else? So rude. She had one other table, the place was empty. Ashley should be happy she has a job, and try slapping on a simple smile and maybe a good morning, or heaven forbid a thank you for your business.
