So excited to have a Jersey Mikes in Alpine! We've eaten here 5x since they've opened and they are consistently friendly, the food is delicious and it comes as ordered! I LOVE the music they have playing and the restaurant is always clean. Definitely sign up for their rewards program and earn some free sandwiches! They are very busy every time I come so order ahead if you're impatient or crunched for time. TIP: ordering to-go? *Catering Review* Our office ordered four catering sandwich boxes this week. They had the sandwiches ready on-time, very well packaged, and all the condiments on the side. They even provided plates and utensils for no extra charge. The sandwiches were well made and tasted great! Although this business is brand new to Alpine, they are making friends. I've been several times since they opened and have never had poor service. The subs they make are consistent with Jersey Mike's subs. They are delicious!. It's right off the freeway, so if you're heading up to Julian, or out to Arizona or anywhere east, might be a good place to stop and grab something to go. Parking is pretty easy. This location is the worst one I've ever been too. They wanted to blame me asking for a warm or heated up sandwich on why they smothered it with oil. And that's why it was soggy. As if I haven't been ordering these for YEARS from every other location, without an incident. Chris, their associate.. Needs WAY more training. Kudos to the staff here on opening day! I can't speak for the whole day but when we went in at 5pm their was a decent line, but everyone seemed to be working wonderfully under the pressure. Place looked clean and it appeared the owners or manager had done a very good job of keeping all the tables cleaned. I have worked in many restaurants, as a host, food runner, cook..... my only critique would be for the cashier.... She seemed to be overwhelming the young lady that was finishing the sandwiches by constantly asking her what sandwich types were being checked out, a question that could easily be answered by the customer...... The poor girl had so many people talking to her, the guy handing her sandwiches to put toppings on. The customers asking for toppings, and then the cashier. There were a few mess ups on my sandwich, but I can't blame her at all. Like I said she had a million people talking to her. read more

Two nights ago, took my family of five for dinner. First employee was new, but very nice and the sandwiches looked great. At the time to ring up I couldn't remember the old phone number I had for my shore points. Threw 60 bucks on the meal. Half way through I finally remembered my number, went to the employee to let her know. She was cool but was busy working with another customer. Another employee went to handle it. She took our receipt and got upset that our receipt had a missing charge on it. The lady then decided to berate me about owing twelve dollars for a sandwich not paid for due to their own mistake. Yesterday morning (5/15/24) I went in around 11 o'clock and ordered a Philly cheese steak. They had a line practically going out the door and I only saw three workers. This amount of workers was not sufficient enough for the amount of customers they had to serve. They were completely understaffed and unprepared. I shouldn't have to wait 20 minutes for one sandwich. I'm not to sure about the way this place is ran. You laterally have to direct the employees to do the job of how to make your food otherwise you get the "that's not how we typically do it so I have to ask reply". I mean you dont typically put tomatoes on a sandwich? I feel like if the item you order varies at all from what it says, the employee's sorta short circuit. Then 4 employees handled my sandwich and one of them just held it in the air asking where it goes. The place is nice and clean, however I feel like they have it backwards. You walk in and go to the back causing crowds to stand around where you eat at the tables and that's not too comfortable. I'm assuming they will figure it out soon. Pretty good. It always tastes fresh, however they are really really light on the seasoning and oil/vinegar. When I eat at any other locations they put a generous amount but this location all seems to be lacking. I asked for extra in my mobile order on the side, but they forgot. Overall a good place to eat but they just need to fix a few issues. read more

This was my first visit to Jersey mikes'. I ordered the ham sandwich which was very good. The wait was not long and the staff was very friendly. I was disappointed that the choice of bread was very limited. No sourdough or wholegrain. The facility was very clean. The shop is located in a public parking lot which is very busy with a few disable parking spaces. Food prices are quite high. The bread for the sandwiches are bulky and not easy to handle. These are minor complaints. Over all the sandwich was very good. I will definitely return. read more
