    Low quality food

1299 E. Main Street, Suite 204, El Cajon, California, 92021-7207 Thoughts: I picked up my food and drove home. Five minutes, opened it up and saw that one of my sandwiches that had avocado. The avocado was completely brown. I have photo and video evidence. I immediately called the store because the sandwich was for my girlfriend who was immediately disgusted the Manager Bobby said it's my fault for coming before they close and that they usually serve that no problem never gotten an issue except for me. That's exactly what he said and he said there was nothing I could do about it no refund that's how they serve their food. He said that I could come in and speak with the general manager, and that the general manager would tell me the same thing I told them it's unacceptable for them to serve food that way, especially if they charge others about four dollars. I wanted to go back so badly as they made me furious. But Bobby repeated that I could do absolutely nothing. If I ever go back there and find out that these crooked careless people are charging so much for this type of low quality is unacceptable. These two need to be fired immediately. They're obviously too comfortable in their positions. Serving food like that! And claiming it okay and normal, disgusting! I got the chicken with ranch and bacon sandwich, which was fairly good. The bacon was too overcooked for me tho. The soda machine was seltzer, which I told them and had to wait for them to replace it. The staff there were all nice. Service took a little while though so it wasn't quick to get in and out.

Tell me why someone would want their wrap/burrito cut this way.

First off.... jersey mikes as a whole - I love. This review is in particular to this location as I happened to be in the neighborhood and craving my go to veggie wrap. I had two major concerns regarding today's experience. 1) I didn't notice this until I sat down to eat and opened up my wrap. But it was oddly cut in a near horizontal manner that made absolutely no sense. Who would hold a wrap (similar to a burrito) in this way? It made it so hard to hold and unappealing as it forced me to take bites where the contents were not as evenly spread. It was like he was trying to cut sandwich triangles out of my wrap. 2) there was a hair on my pickle. So sad. By then I had lost my appetite after already annoyed by the point #1 above. I'm putting this out there to encourage this location to review their training on how to cut wraps and do better with sanitation. I will note the first girl who was slicing was very friendly and nice enough to ask if I needed the slider wiped down before the cheese.

Jersey Mike's must be very popular in San Diego because they just keep popping up everywhere, even during a pandemic, that certainly has to say something about them. Anyways, I stopped by this sleek retro style Jersey Mike's and ordered the #9 or Club Supreme which came with "Roast beef, Swiss, applewood smoked bacon and raised without antibiotics turkey, mayo" -Jersey Mikes, 2020, and I had it Mike's Way of course. I had the sandwich on a wheat roll. It was very good and came with a very good amount of roast beef, turkey, bacon, and a modest amount of Swiss cheese. It was no doubt a delicious combination of deli meats and cheese. The lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were all fresh, and the combination of Mike's dressing was quite tasty. The wheat bread was very good too. The employees were all very nice. They were certainly in high spirits.

This location purposely temporarily closed their store so they wouldn't have to participate and honor a promotion. Sad to do to your community and loyal customers. Shame on this location

I'm a big fan of Jersey Mike's. I love the new location and the nice employees at this location. I have been here many of times and I always order The Veggie Sandwich on Rosemary with grilled onions. So upon this last visit when it was time for me to tell the young man what I wanted he asked "Do you want this Mike's way"? I replied "No, but I want all wet ingredients on the side but add mayo to the bread". I'm watching and before I could say anything he doused my sandwich with the red wine vinegar... I hate soggy bread. I told him I don't want vinegar on my sandwich. He offered to give a free drink. No thanks, please remake the sandwich . He apologized and I was happy. Other than that incident I like this location and the friendly staff is.

A quick shout out to the morning crew of Jersey Mike's. On March 19 (today) for having the order ready, on time and making the effort to get us the Mikes way Oil and Vin in a portable fashion. We r headed to Glamis for some dune buggy fun and they packed us lunch with a Smile!

The customer service is always friendly, welcoming, and genuine -- the kind of neighborhood energy you just don't get everywhere anymore. It's not a huge space inside and the decor is a little outdated, but honestly that's part of the charm. This is a small business with a BIG impact, and the community clearly supports them because the food quality speaks for itself -- everything is fresh. My go-to order is the Big Chomp on a lettuce wrap when I'm trying to cut carbs but still want to be full. They split open a head of crisp iceberg lettuce and pack it with meats like turkey and beef, plus all the sandwich veggies -- onions, tomatoes, pickles -- and whatever condiments you want. It's crunchy, refreshing, and so satisfying that you honestly don't even miss the bread. Now when I'm extra hungry, their breads are fresh and the sandwiches are top-notch across the board. You really can't go wrong. Just a heads up -- they close at 3 PM daily, so if you're not there by then, you'll have to catch them another day. You can call ahead or stop in, but either way you won't be disappointed. PSA: Don't forget to grab a sandwich punch card. Rack up those punches and you'll earn a free sandwich. Thank me later

It was a phenomenal sandwich! I mean, easily one of the best I've ever had. The #12: Capocollo & Provolone Sandwich on Marble Rye. I asked for mayo and mustard only. The capocollo was sliced wafer thin and piled high. The provolone was thick sliced. Both were of excellent quality. The capocollo was like butter, it just melted in my mouth. It was peppery and had a superb rich flavor. The provolone complimented it extremely well. And that marble rye! Wow. Soo good. Excellent sando. Antonelli's, get some!

I had to try the the #1 as it's the house special and a true hero/sub.... whatever you call it where you're from. I decided on the 8" since I wasn't "hungry enough" for a footlong. Well, it turns out I wasn't hungry enough for an 8" either. These things are huge! The bread is as fresh as it gets, spongy with just enough pull. Stays together without getting soggy and turning into a mess. The meats and cheeses are fresh as well and it's just an all around great sandwich. The interior is simple with a few tables and a big enough area to wait for your freshly made food. Be patient, they get busy and for good reason. It's not fast food, but it's good food! I'll come back when I'm in town. It's definitely worth a stop.

They were running two back-to-school sandwich specials with one for $10.99 and another for $16.99. Personally, almost $17-$20 for a sandwich didn't really feel like much of a special. The service was definitely the highlight of my visit. The cashier was incredibly friendly, offered great recommendations, and the woman working behind the deli counter was just as welcoming. I ordered the: *Jerk Turkey Sandwich: you can choose from white, wheat, sourdough, a roll, or an onion roll for an additional $3. I went with white bread. I was expecting more of a deli-style hoagie or Subway-style sandwich, but it ended up being served on two slices of sandwich bread. It tasted good, but it honestly reminded me of something I could easily make at home. There just wasn't much of a wow factor. The sandwich came with pickle spears and your choice of macaroni salad, potato salad, or another deli side. The side portion was fairly small, a couple of bites worth, but the macaroni salad was great. My total came to nearly $15, which felt pretty expensive for a sandwich on sliced bread and a small side. While I really appreciated the friendly service and enjoyed the food, I didn't think it offered enough value for the price. Overall, it was a decent lunch, but not memorable enough to make me want to return.
