Waitresses are sweet, We only go for my birthday tradition but every time I have a great time.

First off, we know food. We're from Louisiana. And I know service. I used to teach it. Next, if this review is a little too glowing, it may be because there were so many horrible reviews. We decided to eat dinner at IHOP in spite of those. The place was almost empty a little after 5 p.m. We were greeted enthusiastically, maybe because they were genuinely glad to have customers. All the staff we encountered seemed happy to be there. Sorry I didn't remember to take a pic before we started eating, but here's a pic of the plates we cleaned. I had the Colorado omelet, which was LOADED with meat and other good stuff. Don't be afraid to order it -- you'll finish it because it's so yummy. Hash browns were good. Just like Waffle House. Toast is some type of many-grain artisan bread, already buttered. Wife got the Rise & Shine, and bragged about it profusely. And she's a New Orleans girl. Okay. That's enough. Go somewhere else for a good breakfast and your blood pressure..we ordered off the app and half our food was missing, the pancakes weren't in the bag so my grown daughter is like I need the food I ordered..they acted like she was standing there lying..what do you think she did with 2 orders of pancakes? Stuffed it in her shorts or tank top? Everything started out well until our waitress came up to the table and asked. "Do you have a clue what you want to order" lol I've never been asked that before as I was sitting down to eat. It's July 9th. Wednesday. 2025 at 2:00 pm. We ate from 1:15 - 2:00. A young AA female with long braids served myself w/my 2.5 yr old son. Her attitude was garbage. She was clearly irritated with everything. Clearly overwhelmed with everything. At one point I even asked if she was okay. Each time she spoke with any customer, she was smiling but would immediately lose the smile when she turned around and would roll her eyes. I even still tipped 18% and would have tipped more had her attention to detail or attitude been better. I accidentally left my son's toy on the table and went back in immediately. I asked for it and she went back into the kitchen and came out saying "he didn't find anything". I asked that she please just look in the garbage, because it wasn't a matter of if we left it. I 100% left my son's little figurine on the table. She only reiterated that he didn't see it. So now, i'm stuck explaining to my 2 1/2 year-old son that some people are just rude and mean, and your toy was thrown away. If you have 35 minutes to wait for pancakes after your seated that taste as if they were made an hour ago and served by wait staff that are having personal drama with the kitchen staff, then this is the place for you! If not AVOID. I mean it's IHOP we figured a safe pick for a Monday morning breakfast it was 10 am when we arrive we were seated pretty quickly but realized after sitting for nearly 10 minutes before our order was taken no one had food that we could see. But we were hungry and waited for our waitress who bless her heart was a bit of an airhead take our order, forget to bring us syrup and lose our check. The pancakes also were terrible they tasted like they just gave us an order made an hour ago for some who who walked out. Took forever for food and longer for the check. I got up and went to the bar station to try to catch the waitress who never showed up with mode syrup only to find the wait staff kitchen was having some kind of drama. Was there this last Monday around 12:15PM with daughter and granddaughter. I was in a hurry so should have realized when the place was not busy but stood there for seemed like forever before someone came and seated us. I was surprised because I counted only 4 tables seated with people and it seemed like more workers than customers. The servers were nice but it was funny because they were unfamiliar with the "Burger" special they had going on. We ordered an omelet, a burger with unlimited fries and a drink for 6.99 (good deal) and kids pancakes. It took 35 minutes to get our food and my grand daughters was wrong so they brought out more pancakes for her. Location is easy in and out and a typical IHOP EXCEPT service was slow and getting food took seemed like forever. I give it a 2 but probably would not go back if I was in a hurry. read more

Had Thanksgiving dinner here. Upon arrival was waiting in line to be put in list for seating. A man walked up and was so unbelievably belligerent and foul mouthed to me that as I stood there in utter shock this Bobby Joe (server) took up for me. She told the man they did t tolerate rudeness here and she didn't have to serve him. The way he acted was so disrespectful and shocking. This location is under new management. We have been twice in the last few weeks and it has been great. Our server was awesome. The manager even came out to check on us since we ordered the new pancake tacos. The pancake tacos were amazing! read more

How this place is still in business is anyone's guess. We haven't been back since having a poor experience last year, but iHop's recent "iHob" campaign piqued the curiosity of my burgerphile BF. Well, now he knows better than to believe everything he sees on TV. Like other patrons around us, we had an identical issue with wait times. We arrived on a Saturday morning, the restaurant was 1/3 full, and we anticipated little trouble. However, our food took nearly 40 minutes to arrive. While our server was polite, it was abundantly clear she had zero interest in what was going on around her, or communicating with us. After a half hour of checking our phones, we caught her eye with that "hey, remember us?" look. She smiled and said "sorry for your wait" and kept on walking. Having both been in the service industry, we had no interest in causing her grief, but a simple "your food will be right out" would have helped. Just as we made up our minds to leave, our breakfast arrived with no explanation or further comment. The "Black Angus Ultimate Steakburger" iHop recently advertised as an otherworldly delight was sadly the usual frozen patty you find pallets of offloaded from a Sysco truck at any eatery with a back entrance. If cooked properly, these can be tasty or at least manageable, but the BF's burger was still frozen in the middle. As we'd waited so long for our food, he ate around that part and dug into his supply of unlimited shoestring fries, which I will say our server was pretty good about replenishing. As for my meal, it's extremely rare that I gripe about presentation - I don't often dine anywhere close to the level of a Michelin-starred establishment, but at least try to keep my food on the plate while it's traveling from the kitchen. When my pancake combo finally arrived, it was all hanging over the side of the plate in a 5 car pile-up as if it were trying to escape to another establishment where it might feel nurtured or appreciated. Once I safely returned all the components back to their respective quadrants, everything tasted fine, except for the eggs with their odd chemical aftertaste. So, two stars because we actually received our food, and unlike others around us, our orders were correct. Management has done a nice job renovating since we were here last, but they really need to spend some time training staff and figuring out how to expedite food properly. We won't be back, but assume this iHop will stagger along towards the inevitable day it closes and another Chili's/Applebee's/Logan's takes its place while a Sysco truck patiently waits by the back door. read more

BAD!!! I thought I'd give this store one more chance since it had been years...but BIG mistake and a waste of $30!! The food was cold, eggs overdone, bacon was 30 seconds from raw, French toast was over cooked on one said and not cooked at all on the other, and the pancakes were so cold that they didn't cut, had to tear them apart. Found out that the waitress was the manager and the cook was the district manager. They have major problems!! read more

I don't know why people give this place such bad reviews the service was phenomenal!!! Alyssa and Brandi were two blonde angels in disguise! They were sweet, attentive, and just all around wonderful! I have been to this IHOP many of times over the last 3 years. In the beginning thing's were very rough, waitstaff was ridiculous and always fighting. It was nuts. However! We love breakfast and always come back. I will say! We went and it was the BEST experience since we've gone to this IHOP. Food was the best and the service was excellent. We talked to the district manager and she was amazing as well. My husband and I are very understanding, and it really does take a pot for us to get mad about food situations. So that is why we always go back. They have come a long way and they have recently received an A for their health inspection, and also recieved IHOP of the month. So I definitely understand that they've had issues in the past. Give it a try and just be patient. read more

Ordered door dash, strawberry French toast. They sent me bread that's all just bread spent 40$ here and received sliced bread. Terrible service no one to even answer the phone. Hello this is Jessica the account holders wife. My husband and I was at IHOP and this was our experience. I have to say that the host and our waitress was great. The food and the kitchen was not. We got seated fairly quickly and the waitress did warn us that the kitchen was going to be backed up. She took our order and I had order the Belgian waffle combo substitute the eggs for hash browns and my husband ordered the same thing but kept the eggs and added hash browns we both ordered crispy bacon. While we were sitting there one of the cooks stormed out screaming at one of the waitresses in front of everyone. Then 45 minutes to almost an hour later we got our food. One of the waffles was soggy, my husband had to ask for the hash browns, both Bacon's were not crispy I had to send my back, and my husband said the eggs were overdone. And also when we got our food the waitress said that the food was probably not worth the wait I apologize. We will not be returning to that location read more

If you are in a rush, skip this place. Place was not busy. Sunday morning 10:45 am and the church crowd had already left for services. Dirty tables around us, servers chatting at kitchen door. Less than 20 customers in the place and a full staff waiting for the after church crowd. Took 30 minutes to get two people scrambled eggs and pancakes. This was the "all you can eat " pancake special. My teenage son ate his two pancakes. We waited to order another set. No waitress. 6 servers / staff gathered at the kitchen door chatting. I carried the empty plates to the kitchen to order my son another stack of pancakes. The server met me in the aisle just before I got to the kitchen and .... ordered another two pancakes ..... after 25 minutes ... still no pancake refill. We got up to leave as we had been there an hour with scrambled eggs and two pancakes. (Would have had more food, quicker and for less money with McDonalds big breakfast) Same dirty tables still around us. Manager comes out and apologizes, said the kitchen was behind, the waitress is getting over a cold (and she's at work?) and he took four dollars off the tab and packed the second helping of pancakes to go. This has got to be the worst managed IHOP I've ever visited. Both the manager and staff move like sloths. Numerous dirty tables across the restaurant and all the staff did was walk up, look at the table, and turn away. Only six tables occupied and it took 45 minutes to get our [simple breakfast] food... I came here to eat pancakes and left without eating anything. I was dining alone and was seated right away. There was no wait. I sat there for 25 minutes without anyone even acknowledging me or offering me something to drink. No server even came to that section at all during that time to say be right with you. The other tables had empty drinks and looked like they were just as annoyed. Other customers who came in after me were waited on in other sections but many who came in before were also still waiting with menus in hand. When the service is poor, it is a reflection of poor management. The manager is ultimately responsible for everything that happens in the restaurant. If it is too busy for the current staff to handle, then don't seat people until you can handle it. The host should give an estimated wait time. When seated, it should take no more than 5 minutes before a server comes over. Too bad. I'm an extra generous tipper when dining alone to compensate for taking up a table by myself. I notice poor service in general even when not alone at these restaurants. Stop worry about burgers and improve your service! read more

I came in to pick up my order from an online order. Two people who worked here ignored me, allowing other people to go ahead of me. When they finally acknowledged me, they told me my order would be ready "in due time." When I asked what due time was, I was told a half an hour. There were empty tables through out the restaurant and multiple waitresses working, plus several cooks in the kitchen. I dont know what is going on at this IHOP, but they need to get there shit together. read more

Wow what can I say IHOP used to be the spot on Friday and Saturday nights but after countless wierd experiences with staff staring from two feet away and just awkward interactions Idk who they are hiring but this place is only good for mornings specifically when they are slammed because they wont have time to single you out for harassment. I've only visited this IHOP twice (yesterday and today). I received the wrong order on both visits. The time for orders coming out is very extensive even though the restaurant is approximately at a third of capacity. I witnessed a couple with their son walk out today due to the frustration of waiting an hour for food. There is clearly a communication problem somewhere between the wait staff and the kitchen. Now, I work in a restaurant myself so I am a little more sympathetic to their workers, but the rudeness of this restaurant's employees is inexcusable. My boyfriend and I entered when there were around 6 people waiting for tables. There were empty clean tables, but they waited at least 10 minutes. When my boyfriend went to put our name on the list, the host told him, "Just sit down and be patient!" in a very rude tone. Then she continued to sit people who came in AFTER us. After she did this for three tables, we decided if she did it one more time that we would leave. She went to sit a table walking in the door who told her to sit us first because we were already there (they had no idea how long we were there which was 25 minutes with clean tables everywhere.) After she very rudely sat us, against her will because she insisted the other couple should be sat first) we were "greeted" by our waitress. All she asked was what we wanted to drink. She seemed pissed that we were even there and took 10 minutes to get our drinks. When she finally took our order, pancakes and sausage nothing fancy, it took 30 minutes to get food. Our drinks sat empty for most of our meal. The management was semi-involved, but not with actual guests. This should have never happened with two managers on staff. This location has disappointed me before, but this visit took the cake (no puns intended.) I will not be going again. read more

Worst dining experience ever, anywhere. I read the reviews and didn't believe it, had to try it because my kids are picky eaters but they love ihop pancakes gave it a shot. We were sat on a dirty table that at least she tried cleaning over us later. Our order was over an hr late and the food bad. First time an omelette is messed up at an ihop in my whole life. I am extremely disappointed with the food at this location. I ordered two waffles with bacon and eggs and it was $17.74! The waffles were burnt, and the eggs were watery.
