First time having Stecca! It's great! I'm a bagel lover, I just like mine on the hardier, tougher side rather than soft. They had a specialty bagel with fresh, ripe peaches and thyme which was pretty good. The cream cheese tastes really good, not sure how or why it tastes different from your average Philadelphia cream cheese, but it's got a little extra cheesy flavor in there. But the fresh made Stecca was wonderful! I did the smoked turkey but subbed plain Stecca for garlic and it was great! She didn't love the ratio of zucchini to breading in her fried zucchini stecca they gave us for free, but she just peeled it off and enjoyed it a little lighter. "Just not the vibe for breakfast," she said a little after noon. Definitely stop in, I'd be a regular if I lived here, I think. Friendly staff and good food.

We ordered a cold brew, a tahini hot vanilla latte with almond milk, and two bagels with cream cheese and bacon. The drinks were excellent, especially the tahini latte, it had great flavor and wasn't overly sweet. The bagels were soft and fresh, and the bacon was a nice addition. The only downside was that the cream cheese tasted a little more tangy than I prefer. Seating downstairs was limited, but there is additional seating upstairs that felt quieter and more spacious. Overall, a great spot for coffee and a quick breakfast.

No signage warning of the fees, no warning from the cashier. He quoted me the total price of the order, but the receipt showed a higher amount than he quoted due to the stealth junk fee. Had I been told there would be a junk fee, I would have paid cash. But they hid the junk fee until after the sale was made. It's so tiring getting hit with stealth junk fees. They can charge what they wish for their product, but for crying out loud, STOP it with the stealth fees and honestly price your product that includes all of your costs except for sales tax.. If you think you have to gin up a fee for something, put it on the menu, on the entry door, and at the register. Or better yet, raise your menu prices by whatever amount you think you need and give customers a discount off of the menu price for cash. Credit/debit cards are used for nearly 80% of retail purchases. Your product prices should reflect the way the vast majority of your customers pay. No one gets an unpleasant surprise that way, and you are being honest with your customers. It's not that hard to do...

When we said no she lit up and proceeded to give us the grand tour.she not only talked about the menu items in detail but how the store was laid out physically including where we could find the restrooms! The owner, Greg of course, came over and introduced himself and shook my hand. He asked where we were from and we had a nice conversation about our journeys to Chattanooga residency (both of us were originally from IL!). We ordered the Greg Special (turkey and pimento cheese with jalapeños) and The Italian. Both sandwiches were outstanding but The Italian was the best sandwich I've ever had. No joke. We will be back and I'm going to look for opportunities to use them for catering business lunches! As I said, the service was outstandingly friendly and the establishment was super clean. Please give them a try and I promise you will NOT be disappointed! So, I have an update! My wife and I returned today (two weeks later) and took a friend with us. We got the Italian again and our friend got the club. The place was much busier this time (the weather was much better) but the food was just as outstanding as was the service! The establishment itself was just as clean as well in spite of the increased traffic! Greg was gracious and let us sample their baked desserts (thank you Greg) and they were delicious as well! We spied a chili pie on the menu this time and I am looking forward to Fall Weather to give that a try! Thanks again y'all for another great experience!

It was a little more busy when we came in but it definitely got awkwardly quiet closer to 1pm. They didn't have any music playing and the place is kinda big, plus noise tends to echo, so that made our conversation a bit more public than I would like. The church chairs also were kind of messing with the vibe. Looking back, I'm not surprised at all to find out the restaurant is affiliated with a church. But the food was great! My friend enjoyed her pizza and I liked my burger and fries. I think the burger could have had some more flavor to it and more cheese, but the bun was awesome and the fries were amazing. I'd definitely order the fries again. If you're looking for a vibey restaurant to have a private conversation, this is not the place for you lol. But if you're meeting up with a group or idk... are cool with eating in a quiet churchy atmosphere then this is a good place to go. The food is solid and our server was great. And what a treat it is! The outdoor seating Sunday night dinner atmosphere is calm and content. String lights strung throughout large wooden beams overhead. Tables spread out. Decent seating. Not crowded. The wait staff appears friendly and attentive. But the food and beverage experience is what's most memorable - absolutely uniquely delicious and making everyone want more. To start, we ordered espresso martinis. Honey Seed served up a perfect blend of liquor, coffee, and cream. And a strong one! For an appetizer, we enjoyed the biggest and one of a kind shaped tator tots possibly in existence. The middle of each tasted like if a potato latke and a piece of cornbread got mashed up together. And the outsides look like fried onion strings. Best tator tots ever had. For our entrees, we decided to create a pizza combo, half bbq chicken and half burrata. Each so tasty! The bbq chicken side had caramelized onions and cilantro complimenting roasted chicken and the right amount of bbq drizzle. The burrata side had roasted garlic, spicy Calabrian peppers, fresh mozzarella, and the signature honey seed crust. We had leftovers and I plan to treat as many friends as possible to this local gem!
