I was there March 7 Friday night for my nieces birthday and the Server was amazing, phenomenal, she worked the diner like a Boss. She was the only one on the floor. I don't remember her name but she took good care of us. My niece wanted to celebrate her birthday so we were a big party of 12 or so. Took me about a month or two since they opened to try IHOP again for the first time in a long time. I've been to others in the past, but they never really struck me as a go-to place. But now... I go here probably more than I should. I absolutely love this place! Special shout out to servers Noelani, Brandon, Jennette, and Abdy. Not only do they stay incredibly calm and focused amongst the buzyines, but they always remember what I'm likely to order before I mention it. It's that little detail that makes me feel special and like a regular. You know, like that well-known 80s-90s T.V. theme "Where everybody knows your naamme". Thankfully, everyone here is great, but if you see the names mentioned, you're in good hands. Favorite dishes? The Country Fried Steak & Eggs or the Breakfast Sampler. My usual request for the eggs to be cooked over medium is usually done to a science. Slightly blows my mind how they always get it right. And the waffles? AMAZING. The pancakes are really good as well, but there's just something about those golden discs of flavor. Heavenly. Like a golden halo on a plate. Cooks Daniel and Ray definitely know their way around a hot grill. Also love that IHOP leaves the coffee pot with you at the table to be filled at your leisure. And while I should be able to recall this next bit of info drunk and in my sleep, I believe one pot usually fills the mug about 3 or 4 solid times. Yet be warned. Around 10 pm till 2 am and Sunday evenings, this place gets BIZ-E. And sometimes it's just 1 person serving tables. YIKES, but bless them. Mid-days seem to be fairly calm. The other times mentioned, both booths and tables are heavily occupied, and people are usually coming in for pickup orders as well. I sit at the counter, so not an issue for me. My advice? If at the hours I've mentioned you're in a hurry. You're better off going through the McD drive thru across the street. Not an insult, I go there as well. But if you have more patience than the average bear, I think you'll have a great experience like I always do. read more

I don't know why this place only have 3 stars ... I would double mine if I could. x10.. This is one of THE BEST breakfast places I have been to in a looong time .. And I get out and about... I had to compliment the Manager on my way out. So I took my daughter here for her 13th Birthday breakfast 3/22/25 with a couple of her friends .. the food and and service was immaculate!!! The place was clean and spacious and smelled good and fresh not like most places smelling like purple fabuloso and old mop water. Anyway. Our waitress was so patient with my indecisive self and kids... It didn't seem to bother her one bit. Also all the waitresses kept sliding by to make sure everything was ok. They kept our table clean of any plates or papers and kept all glasses full. I had a cinnamon crepe combo delicious!!! The girls had the cupcake pancake combo... perfect and so cute for the birthday girl. Then the finale!!!! 3 waitresses busted out saying HEY IHOP!!! WE HAVE A BIRTHDAAAAAY!!!! I had to ask my server for the name of this lady and her name was Natalia. She was walking around the restaurant talking super loud about her coworkers full-on complaining while customers were literally right in front of her. It wasn't just a quick comment either. She kept going, naming people, talking about her shift, just saying stuff that definitely should've stayed at home. I can hear her just complaining about another girl and it was annoying to the point I wanted to say something. My kids can hear her and even told me "that looks really mean and saying bad words. The vibe in the room totally shifted it got awkward fast And the way she was acting, honestly, it felt like she cared more about being noticed than actually doing her job. it kind of added to the feeling that she wanted attention from her fellow male coworker. This was such a weird dining experience. Felt more like I walked into her personal life than to IHop. I think management should know that her talking about other employees in such a rude and defending way is not ok and definitely illegal to talk about someone's reputation. I will not be coming to this ihop even though it's down the street from my house. No one wants to hear a lady with a botched BBL trying to get the attention of male workers by talking about other women's appearances and calling them names that are so unprofessional and no guest wants to hear about it. My review is specifically for the male waiter that served the table in the front area by the window. He had slick back hair and bad breath. Not only did he have bad breath, but his service was worse. Waste of energy asking him for anything. We asked him nicely for our drinks and utensils because our food had come out and we didn't have either, he said yes walked away and didn't even attempt to get it for us. And it's funny because the table next to us, they came after us and he made sure to take care of them and every other table that came after us. Before anything, I must say my family and I will always miss Carrows and its wonderful staff. We were so happy to see that our favorite breakfast spot was still going to be a breakfast spot ! They finally opened today. lol (ihop has more than just breakfast btw) This was my second time at an IHOP and the service and food were great! The vibe was very welcoming. I am writing this review while finishing up my first meal at this new IHOP. I had great hope and expectations that this would be a great experience. Unfortunately this was not the case., The place is fairly nicely decorated from the old Carrrows. The seats at the booth were not large enough so I asked to be moved to a table. The staff you can tell are not working efficiently together. As in other reviews it is too loud in here. And you can hear the whole staff yelling things in the kitchen. The noise level is crazy. They are all speaking in Spanish but it is loud and overwhelming. Hard to enjoy a meal and have your own conversation. The service is extremely slow. It took 30 minutes to get 2 meals delivered. The portions were 1/2 of what you would expect especially with the fries and hash browns. It's like they are skimping out in you. The quality was ok but not enough to make up for the small portions. Another family of 4 just left and did not want to wait any longer for their food!! I have never seen that! They most likely will not be coming back. The staff right now are yelling at each other as I am writing this review! This is a mess. Not good. They don't know what they are doing. I was very disappointed with this IHOP. I hope the management will read these reviews and make changes. If they don't fix these problems they will not last very long. read more

Went in and was going great. I ordered an omelet very simple with crepes and French toast. They guy brought in the crepes and French toast first then waited for around 20 to 25 mins for my omelet. Saw other family get there food first and realized that on of the omelet was the one I ordered. Finally the server came in and ask what else I ordered and seemed he forgot I let him know and so it took him another 20 mins for my food. Realized that the food was given to the wrong person. When my omelet came in the hash brown on top was very burnt and the eggs seemed to be cooked in a dirty grill. I've been here several times and each time wonder why I came. Service is poor to mediocre. Tonight's was especially disappointing. Two tables that sat after us, had their orders taken before us. We sat for what seemed to be an eternity and decided to eventually leave. We were told that there is a system of which server is assigned to a table and apparently, they can't assist other tables. Food is average but expected for a chain restaurant. Servers do not seem knowledgeable about their IHOP loyalty program (or whatever it's called). They also have a "hoppy" hour menu but its never given or displayed. I wish Gardena had better breakfast options and not these overpriced chain restaurants with poorly trained servers. read more

The noise level is horrendous inside, the acoustics just reverbs all the noise from the kitchen and the staff yelling at each other. Service is no existent, as we waited and waited for our drinks to arrive and never did. We watched as the "managers" were delivering food to the wrong tables and the servers getting upset because they had to apologize to their customers. After waiting for nothing, we just got up and left. They need to change the name from "IHOP" to "I Hope". If things continue this way, this place will go down in flames. I realize it just opened and with it comes growing pains, but the name IHOP has been around forever so there really is no excuse for the terrible everything. First, the drinks take forever to arrive and forget about any cream for your coffee. I actually got up and grabbed my own. My soup arrived cold and late. My son's hamburger barely had any fries on the plate. My husband's pancakes weren't cooked. The whole ordeal was just awful. I asked my waitress was she new at this, bless her heart she said yes. The whooping $75.00 bill was an even bigger slap on the face. Not one apology from the manager. The staff just seemed to be running like chickens with their heads cut off. No sense of organization what so ever. Hopefully it gets better. But I for one will take my hard earned money elsewhere. Should have just stuck with Norms. read more
