My daughter loves IHOP and just had her braces adjusted so soft food was in order. We didn't stop to read the previous reviews as the decision was based upon the need to help my daughter. Suffice to say our meal was certainly better than many others before us. The meal started out great with quick service, and drinks arriving at the table in good order. Menu choices were pretty obvious for the three of us and we chose two breakfast entrees, a sandwich entree and a dessert. Everything arrived quickly and looked delicious. The sandwich was nicely prepared and the bacon deliciously crisp and flavorful. Fries were hot and not overly salted. The first platter with eggs sausage and hash browns were plentiful. Eggs were soft and delicate, not over cooked and hash browns had a nice crispness to them, browned nicely. The strawberry pancakes served with them were gobbled up quickly without getting a picture. The 2x2x2 platter was also really nice and cooked accordingly. The bacon and sausage on both platters were delicious with no issue and cooked to perfect doneness. The only real issue that developed was when we tried to checkout and pay our bill. We tried the app but could not get it to work and was told by the server it's been down for months. So we went to the register to pay there and had issues with the tablet checkout as well. No problem with the service or food but once it came time to settle the bill IHOP didn't seem to want our money for the meal. After several minutes and another employees assistance there was a work around and the bill was paid and we were on our way. Would have been a solid 5 stars if there were not so many issues with paying the bill. Hopefully, corporate will fix the issue that's been plaguing their system for months. read more

Pro: restaurant was fairly clean, Wonka hot chocolate- yummy Cons: Grossly understaffed; one waiter for the whole half of the restaurant and I think he might have really been a kitchen person forced to be a waiter; hair in the milkshake; water leaking from the kitchen into the corner of the women's restroom. Summary - two stars because our waiter dude really gave his best try, most would give up with what he had to endure. So a big thanks to him. Food was really hit or miss, some really good; some a mess. In my opinion, the manager should rethink her career. She only stayed on the register and didn't help with taking our drink order and actually bringing it, serving, checking if we needed anything. It was clear, her thoughts were only about the money. If I could give 0 stars I definitely would. We came here this morning for breakfast and it was horrible. We have to sit and wait 20 mins on just on our drinks and to order. Normally they bring your drinks before your food. We had to keep asking for our drinks, the food was late and half wrong she couldn't remember half of what we even ordered and we had to remind her. Like I'm sorry but not everyone is cut out to be a waiter or waitress. The gentlemen who seated us was very rude and unpleasant also. Slow service this weekday morning, perhaps because there were only two servers working and it wasn't all that busy. Awesome breakfast! Gayle our waitress was polite and professional. We were told a 15 minute wait. We were seated and order taken in less than 15 minutes. Food was delicious. Great value too! All workers were friendly and professional. They gave cards with famous names on them to call when your table was ready. Very creative! Family looked up who Herby Hancock to learn he was a panoist. Samantha our waitress was very polite and attentive to us. She came back several times to check on us. Food was very good and filling. Excellent! We will be back for sure. read more

The food is always good, I've never had bad food from this location. However the service always sucks here. It's almost impossible to get drink refills and the waiters/waitresses disappear for almost the whole time I'm there. Staff aren't that polite including the manager who I spoke to on the phone. I called at 1pm to order carry out. The manager told me it would be about 10/15 minutes, typical waiting time. We got there at 1:20 and was told our order hasn't even been started. At 1:45 we finally got our togo order. Last time we were there, there was maybe one or two other tables. They will not cook a burger to order but they will cook a steak to order, if you do order the steak it's grey in color... I've had steaks from just about every restaurant and have never seen a steak that was completely grey and with the texture of pork. I had ordered the T bone because they refused to cook my burger medium rare as any other restaurant will do. I had them bring another steak after the first one was grey and the second one was also grey and had an odd texture. When a customer paying for your food wants a medium rare burger than you cook them the way they want it, that's called good customer service which was not the case here. Theirs already a disclaimer on the menu about undercooked meat, but why even include a disclaimer when you won't even "undercook" a burger? They will only cook a burger well done which is a waste of meat making it dry and tasteless. read more

Thank you Hanna and staff for making our late meal so enjoyable! Traveling back from VA we were not sure what was along the way and finally had our eyes set on this IHOP as it's been a long time since visiting one. We were greeted with a very out going and welcoming team, who sat us immediately. We asked to be away from others if possible which they easily accommodated. Our order was taken quickly and was correct. I had the strawberry crepes and other guests had omelets. Was surprised to get 5 crepes that were just as good as any I have had at creperies or French restaurants. Really hit the spot. I understand the omelets were fine and just as good as any others they have had. The only jeer I can give is that it was slightly dirty in areas (ie some tables not wiped clean and some visible crumbs on the floor). But seemed they were short staffed so I figured that this was the reason. Thank you one and all for helping to make our rest stop and meal pleasant. read more

First of all, I want to say that there was no issues with food or service. We arrived early from traveling overnight out of state, and were looking to kill time while enjoying breakfast and being out of the car. We entered and it took more than five minutes to be greeted by a hostess in what was at maybe 1/3 capacity in the restaurant at the time. We were told it would be a 25 minute wait because there was only one server and three cooks. There was also a sign in front that they're hiring for a manager and another leadership position. We didn't mind, as we had time to be patient. However, there were many, and I mean MANY patrons that turned and left when they heard of the wait time/staff issue. By the time we were seated there seemed to be two more waitresses come in, and then maybe 2-3 more by the time we finished our breakfast. Our waitress was very friendly, courteous and prompt. We tried to limit asking for much, or having her make extra trips because of not having much help. Our order was correct and the food was perfect. Staff is very lackadaisical, and one of the worst places that we have ever been. The staff does not pay attention to who is walking in the door, you will wait quite some time before you are seated. They are too busy talking to each other and/ or on their phones, and restaurant is very dirty every where you walk. The waitresses are very pushy about taking your order, not giving you time to even look at your menu. We had four different people trying to take our order, none of which were polite, and all seemed to be upset that we were trying to decide what we wanted. We asked for water without ice and lemons, we got water with ice and no lemons. Once we told them that we asked for for no ice and lemons, they said "Oh, I forgot!" (despite there was only one other customer" The next round of water came as it was all being spilled all over the place, to include on our table. The straws/ paper were even wet. Not even an apology from the three of them. We tried to order two dishes to split, then they said "we don't have that". How about saying what you are out of in the beginning? We finally figured out something to eat, decided on crapes, milk shakes, and berry pancakes. Made a trip to the bathroom, there was food, oil and grease all over the floor on the way. Once I walked in, I found the toilet scrub brush was thrown on the floor and not in a container like it is supposed to be, and zip ties to hold on the electrical cover by the sink. (Fire hazard) The bathroom was very filthy, felt like I would need a tetanus shot if I touched anything. We finally got our orders (45 minutes later) and it was very small, bland, just slapped on a plate with hardly any toppings. We had to wave down a waitress (busy gossiping in a group again) to ask about our milkshakes, which never came. She tried to blame it on her partner (which was in the group) saying that she forgot to make it. (Our seats were right by the kitchen counters, can see everything) They rushed to make two milkshakes, and run them over. They were absolutely horrible, and barely edible. We got our check and went to pay. Asked about the military discount as I was paying (wearing my retirement hat as well) and she rushed to put my card in the machine. "I just ran your card, I can't change it now." (No apologies again) She didn't want to call the manager for assistance. Based off of this horrible experience, bad food, and overall lack of professionalism, I had to stiff the tip after the her last comment. read more

We have been here 3 times, and we will never return again. The first time, the host left us standing there for over 15 minutes and kept ignoring us. He sat at least 5 groups that all came in after us. When we finally got a table, we waited 20 mins and still didn't have a waiter. We left; I stopped to discuss the matter with the host, but he just walked away. The second time we went around 9 pm. We ordered MR steak and the pork chops. It wasn't busy, and yet it took us an hour to get the food. We had to call the waitress over for a refill, because she was too busy talking to another employee. When we did get the food, the meat was well done and the carrots were shriveled and hard. We sent it all back and had to wait another 30 mins for breakfast food we had ordered in place of it. When paying our bill, I requested a discount from the manager, but I was denied. We never received an apology either, even though I had made him aware of the situation. Great server. Pleasant and attentive. The food, however, was another story. Took a while to get receive our food. My partner's eggs were cold. She got bacon instead of ham. My Eggs Benedict were hard boiled instead of poached. I informed the server of the problem and she politely offered to correct the orders. Unfortunately, given the service wasn't exactly quick , we could not afford to wait. Another server cane to our table and explained the manager was in the back cooking tonight and offered a 10% discount. I appreciate the discount but it doesn't make up for a lousy meal. Now being that breakfast food is the easiest and fastest food to prepare Ihop is always timely with service. This time around we recieved drinks, were not checked on for over 30 minutes, and were then told that our food would be out in a few minutes. By this point an hr had passed and we still had no food. We were then told that the food would be out in 10, so now it has been 1hr10minutes. I've tried this location twice. The first time, the server let us know he was new, which was fine. What wasn't fine was giving my 12 year old daughter nicknames like sweetie and hon, touching my fiance's shoulder (which he hates being touched), and when I was looking for a smaller menu item, he assumed it was because of cost and not for the true reason which was portion size. The errors kept continuing, including cold food, until we spoke to a manager, who listened and apologized and we got a voucher to come back. The second time, this server is also new. I ordered hot chocolate and it took 20 minutes to get to the table. Then when the food came, the other waiter assisting him got upset to serve a different table than his. The assisting server left our table and loudly argued with our waiter and the manager, complete with cursing, and the restaurant could overhear. I have had the most horrible service I could have ever experienced. My husband, daughter, & myself were seated, then 3 larger families after that. They all got their food first, while our server never came by the table to check on us. Then I ordered the NY Cheesecake pancake combo, wrong eggs were brought out. Server brought the correct ones & said that should be everything- except I had no NY Cheesecake pancakes. She tried to bring out plain pancakes, I told her that was not what I ordered, so she put some whip cream on top of them & said that was them. I then asked for hot sauce for my eggs & was given choices, then was given the one I did not choose. I won't be back. They have lost my business. The first time we went to this location, it was not a pleasant experience, as the service was very slow, and when our food finally came, it wasn't even warm. Yet we decided to give it another shot. We had guests staying with us and decided for Sunday breakfast, we would go to this location. One person was ahead of us, a mom and her small son, table for two. She was told 5-10 minutes. Our party of five was then told 10-15 minutes. We patiently waited as people came and went. We watched as food stayed under the warmer lamps for the pickup window for quite a while. Several servers were just standing around, talking. Empty tables remained untouched that needed to be bussed. Soon, people coming in were being told the wait time was an hour. The woman who came in before us still had not been sat, and we were now going on 40 minutes. My husband asked the hostess if there was an updated estimated time, and the hostess became very defensive saying how she can't police the door and the number of people coming and going. My husband referenced the mother and child who had been waiting so long when told approximately 5-10 minutes. Her response? You can leave if you want to, you don't need to stay. It was so incredibly rude! Our guests couldn't believe her attitude! But you know what? She was right. We could leave, and that's exactly what we did. Ten tables were empty by the time we left, and that mother and child still had not been sat. Save your time and go to Bob Evans, Denny's, or a different IHOP location, since they obviously do not care about your time or business. I wrote to corporate, and have not received a response. Don't know if I'll go back to an IHOP after all of this. Teach your employees, especially the hostess, that customer service is everything! read more

I was slightly apprehensive about stopping here due to the other poor reviews but we did anyways and I'm glad that we did! We got right in with no wait (we beat the Sunday rush) we were able to order our food promptly. When we got our food it was the perfect temperature! (Of course we checked because of the complaints of cold food) our waitress was friendly and even gave us drinks to go. The only reason I gave it a 4 star was because we felt a little rushed to leave.
