The wait took 30min to sit down, another hour to get our food, albeit on a Wednesday afternoon, hardly prime time.

We went today for breakfast and the first time my pancakes came out cold so I sent them back, my wife's omelet came out cold and my sons omlet was okay but a little burnt. The pancakes came back out and were perfect the second time. One of the better experiences at this Ihop! read more

Our server was not coming to our table or giving us silver ware or straws with of food and drinks, and when the food came out, i got pancakes that were the size of a the palm of my hand and the severs explanation was "sorry they're so small, the cook has an attitude and he's mad at you guys." i could understand his frustration if we came in before close with a bunch of people, but we came in an hour and a half before close with less people then the tables around us, we we not being loud or causing any problems. after this, they continued to get our orders wrong and gave very small, child sized, portions of everything. overall, would not recommend this restaurant to anyone i care about. read more

I work in the hospitality business for over 12+ years and this ihop location hits the bottom of the totem pole. Took 15 minutes for a server to come to out table to take our drink orders. After which the server took an additional 7 minutes to even bring drinks back prior to taking our order for food. However it was a different server that brought the drinks and had requested if we were ready to order. Had to request to have silverware to be placed on the table. After a considerable amount of people left, we thought we'd get more service. If corporate offices are reading this, pay attention to your locations. I HOP(E you go somewhere else) First time at this restaurant. First, they write your name down on a wait list an hand you a nasty sticky card with some famous name. Seriously if you are going to use this system use some clean cards. The hostess asked how many I said 3 and a baby. She screamed so four and a high chair? And I repeated no, 3 and a high chair so she started arguing we us how she was right. We got our table and the lay out is horrible since it looks so cramped. The menu is ok. I ordered 2 eggs, bacon, grain n nut pancakes and coffee. The food came and the waitress said they gave me hash browns anyway and that my pancakes were wrong but if I still wanted them or if I would wait for them to make it again... Really? The eggs looked all greasy and the bacon was not cooked. My rye toast had so much butter I felt my arteries clogged lol When I was going to pay I waited in line and 2 senior people just cut through the line and the cashier wouldn't say anything. This was one of my favorite places for pancakes. It has gone downhill in the last 2 months. Three weeks ago I went with a friend. I ordered my standard 2x2x2. Two pancakes, 2 eggs and 2 strips of bacon. My friend ordered blueberry pancakes (without the topping) and scrapple. After waiting 15 minutes my order came out. My friend got her scrapple but was told her pancakes were not done in the middle and they would remake them. The scrapple was so hard we had to send it back. I started to eat since I didn't want my food to get cold. I finished my meal and still no pancakes for my friend. Twenty five minutes later out came her pancakes(with the topping) and no scrapple. Finally the scrapple came out but only one piece was fit to eat. I asked to see the manager. He came over said he was new and trying to get the place in shape and hoped we would come back again. He did comp my friends pancakes. So last night we decided to give it another try. The fact that it was 5:30pm and only 4 cars in the parking lot should have been a warning. We went in. No one at the hostess desk or the register. The wait staff was talking to the kitchen staff about an order that was wrong. We waited 5 minutes. No one came to seat us so we left. Guess the new manager still hasn't got the place in shape!!! If you are in Hagerstown go to any of the Waffle Houses! read more

Usually one of my favorite places to eat but tonight the dinner service just left a sour taste in my mouth..... no pun intened. When we first arrived at the restaurant we were seated promptly..... then the fun began. It took a waiter 25 minutes to realize we had not been helped or offered drinks. Then when we ordered my mom ordered a pancake combo. I ordered the English toffee pancakes.. it took another 30 minutes for our food to come out(understandably so because it was busy) but when it did the pancakes looked nothing like the picture shown. They were literally buttermilk pancakes with syrup and whip cream on them... nothing more . When I asked the waiter he blew it off . My mom got the pancake combo and they never brought her eggs,sausage and hashbrowns ... over all tonight was a mess and the manager didnt even offer a apology. read more

a mixture of more patrons than they typically are used to, being short staffed apparently and waitresses in the bathroom complaining made for a terrible dinner. About 90 minutes to have a dinner for 4 people. Yes, they offered a 20% discount without me complaining, but only because we still didnt have a stack of pancakes 10 minutes after the rest of our food. the food was luke warm at best. it is definetly not worth it. we will not be back. read more

Just wanted to let everyone know IHOP is now open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! We are about to roll out a new menu with lots of better choices including new burgers with a free drink and unlimited fries. We also have got some new management so things should be looking up soon! read more

I'm usually a fan of IHOP but this location was horrible. My friends and I met here for a quick break but it was nothing but quick. We waited 45 minutes for our food (which wasn't very good) and the place wasn't even that crowded nor did we order something crazy. Eggs and pancakes should be a quick order. We did see other tables, who arrived after us get their food first but they had a different server. Our waitress spent more time talking with her friends who came to visit her versus taking care of her tables. When the food did arrive, it was luke warm but we just wanted to eat and run. We were already running late. When we were paying near the door, the older gentlemen who was taking our money thought it was funny when we complained about how back the service was and overall experience. He laughed... like it was a joke. I'm not saying I'll never go to IHOP again but I know I'll never go to this location. read more

My Husband and I have been to this Ihop many many times with no problems. Tonight was the exception. I ordered the Turkey Dinner and my Husband a Breakfast sampler with the eggs over easy. Not only did my order not come with the items that were stated on the menu and I have gotten numerous times, gravy being one the other the lengenberry preserves. Also, my so called side salad was 2 small cuts of red onion was nasty lettece and two piles of tomatoes. My Husband's dinner came and I noticed that when he was eating the eggs (which yes I know are runny) did not seem done the whites themselves were runny at the ends. I said something to him and he didn't eat that part. To say the least I was dissappointed in the whole meal. Also, our food wasn't hot at least mine was luke warm, if I wasn't hungry I would have returned mine and asked for a new order. Though they did bring me the gravy with a look when I did say that was missing from my Turkey Dinner. Anyway, I know we will go back and I hope in the future this does not happen again. Waitress was excellent. Meal was disappointing. Pancakes were chewy and lukewarm at best. The rest of my items were just warm. Pricey.
