It was slow enough we shouldn't have been sat at a dirty table. They had multiple dirty tables and servers standing around. Manager standing outside smoking with 2 SERVES!!! The basic manor in which the server approached the table and said yeah what you need was inappropriate. And showed a lack of professionalism and genuine caring for your guests. My fiance has been in the restaurant business for 15 years and rather than cause a scene with the manager who obviously did not care. we ordered our food and never receive it. we were told they forgot to place our order and would put rush on it. we waited another 45 minutes. my 80 year mother is diabetic so we asked if we could get a piece of toast while we wait and was told no. we wait another 30 minutes and ask if how much longer it would be and they said at least 10 minute. at this point we had waited an hour in a half after we ordered and still did not have our food. so do to the medical issue we had to leave. read more

Ever wanted Waffle House, except with less food and more expensive? Then this is the place for you. For the self proclaimed "International House of Pancakes", their pancakes are solidly mediocre. Food is bland and in smaller portions and it has any right to be. Service is bad, and it smells like chlorine inside. When you finally get your check after eating your bland breakfast of stale toast and chewy eggs, you get your check, and realize you spent three times what you expected. Way overpriced. read more

This was the worst experience me and my family just had to deal with. All the workers weren't doing their job, they were messing around going outside not caring about the customers one bit. My sister spilt her drink and a worker was right next to us cleaning a table and she looked over but then looked away and kept cleaning the tables not asking us if we need a towel. It took so long to get our food and it wasn't even hot. My eggs were not cool to over easy at all cuz the some of the white part was not cooked. After the cup spilling and we finally got a towel after my mom said we need a towel, they never asked if we wanted any refills or checked up to make sure we are good with anything. Then my mom wanted the check and a box no one came to the table so she had to go to the front counter and asked for the check and a box. There was about 2 other family's there but there was this one table that had a family there they got the menus but no one came to ask them what to drink or ask them if they were ready to order so they left mad. They were very nice here. My uncle cut himself and was bleeding and they were right on top of it. They were good to take our order and the food was delicious. My uncle knew what he wanted but the waiter hooked him up with exactly what he wanted in a combo. The only issue we had was, there were 5 of us, 4 of us got our meal and my wife was waiting. Now she ordered a Omelet with egg whites so maybe that's what took so long. Do NOT eat here. The service is awful; the waitresses are incredibly rude. As I waited at the front counter, two waitresses made eye contact with me multiple times but did not say anything. Instead, they took orders for tables, rang people up at another counter, etc. I've never been to a restaurant where its employees just completely ignore a customer. Our server ignored us the whole time until it was time for her to get the money for the bill, the sausage party's were white, over eggs were fully cooked, the steak bites were awful, my husband said they tasted old or something. I come in almost everyday for lunch. I like breakfast for any meal. Pros: The little manager Rhonda is fantastic she is always hustling getting things done she is right in the mix with the servers helping make sure the front of the house is going as it should. If they could clone her that store would be numero uno in JC in respect to breakfast served morning noon or night. Her and her alone is why I gave 5* rating. I see her Interact with the customers and they love her. I know of a study that showed people who come to a restaurant for a 1st time visit the chance of them returning is 40% same as the 2nd visit. But if you get them in a 3rd time the percentage goes up to 70% chance of return. Cons: Unfortunately this restaurant has had some terrible reviews from its grand opening to present. But I know that the franchisee/owner is about to make some huge and much needed changes at this IHOP. When I first started going in before Ms Rhonda was a manager. I seen a lot of the staff including managers just standing around not doing anything. In a restaurant that size there is always something to be done and if the servers have time to lean they have time to clean. There was always unbussed tables, floors needing to be swept, among other things. Being a relatively new store it should look the part. But from the lack of leadership making sure the employees did side work to keep the store looking presentable it is starting to look like it's run down. I know for a fact that the night shift management and crew is horrible! I came in one day and I had gotten 5 different rolls of silverware along with other tables that had 4 or 5 spoons rolled into the silverware. Obviously in an attempt to do less work. Run themselves out of spoons less total amount of silverware rolled. The night shift should be leaving that store ready to go for the day shift to go everything should be cleaned, wiped down, floors mopped, bathrooms cleaned, windows all of it. They lack the idea of teamwork. read more

Food was ok. Service was not the best. My server never came back to fill my drink and was gone with my debit card forever. The food is not equal. My son and I ordered the exact same thing and he had more steak on his omelette than mine. The steak was pretty tough and hard to chew. My husband and I are regulars at IHOP. Our last two visits have been awful. Last week we were sat at a booth and behind my seat were a trail of ants. We quietly pointed it out to a waitress and asked if we could move to a table, which she obliged. The waitress immediately pointed out to the manager who did not apologize to us. All she did was grab a spray bottle and tried to wipe the ants away so she could sit other customers in that area. This past Monday we were kept twenty minutes because they skipped over our name to be called to a table. Once we pointed that out, we were then seated. The waitress did not give us utensils, had us pour our own coffee and our order was missing items that went with the menu. Not to mention other customers that she waited on were also neglected because she decided that was a good time to sit at a booth to talk with people she knew. The leadership there needs to address this quickly and correct these issues. One positive note, I wish I could've read his name tag, the young male waiter, was the only one I seen being attentive to the people he waited on. The service was less than stellar and the food was very bland. Would not recommend to anybody else, they treated another costumer very rudely. They were very blunt and quick about everything, not attentive at all and rarely saw them unless we called them or it was time for the check. Practically empty restaurant, waited to be sat, 5+ min for greet, 10+ min for drinks, food didnt take forever but it wasn't fast, at least it was cooked appropriately albeit one plate was missing a piece of bacon for some reason, had to take salt and pepper from another nearby table that was dirty as most of the tables were, trash all over the floor, drinks were never refilled, then to top it all off the table edge was in such disrepair that it ripped a hole in my favorite pants as I stood up to leave after what is probably the worst experience I've had at any Ihop across about 4 states... there was a woman who was too frustrated to stay seated at the front desk as we arrived which should have been a red flag but I chalked it up to sometimes people being difficult. It is now clear that this was not the case. bad experiences happen at reataraunts, but the ripped clothing has me so frustrated I feel compelled to warn others not to visit this establishment out of concern for their time and property. Genuinely upset at this experience. Zero intention to visit again. Would NOT recommend this IHOP to anyone looking to enjoy a meal out. read more

Tried to give this IHOP another shot, too bad I wasted my money ordered ahead a Togo order cause I know their in store service has always been horrible. I should have known it would be bad when I had to repeat my order 3 times to two different people, I then arrived and was told my order was all in the bag I even asked about items and and the manager Holly looked in the bag and said yep all their so I stupidly trusted her cause I got home my order was wrong and I was missing items, then I was told by Holly she was too busy right now to help me and would have to call back. I have been to many IHOP's and was so excited to get one in my hometown but every time I go I'm disappointed but when I visit others out of town so much better. The food......would keep you from dying of starvation. That's about the best I can say about it. Had a Colorado Omelette. It was a very big portion, which was good because I was very hungry. I'm not sure how they did it but they managed to remove all flavor from it. It was like eating a big plate of warm nothing. The hash browns were so compressed that I stabbed my fork into it and picked it up as one piece. Ended up having to cut it with my knife to eat it. The outsides were nice and crispy but the inside was mush. Service wasn't that good either, mostly minor stuff. Didn't ask me if I wanted any cream for my coffee, didn't offer any ketchup for my slab of hash browns and when I paid the bill, just put it down in front of me, told me to sign here and then walked away before I could sign it. They might have been shorthanded but there were only two other occupied tables in the place. No one was rude, it was just not good service or food. read more

I would give a 2 star but I just can't !!! The service was good for a second but afterwards it absolutely sucked!! I was never checked on , never got my receipt, I finally got it after several tries. Asked for a to go box and the manager Darrel went over to the soda fountain and chatted it up as if he was in his own world , he stunk so bad of strong cigarettes it choked us. After holding my hand up for some time we got the box . IHOP is my favorite place to eat because it's really good their service there is good and food is just amazing.

It took them almost 5 minutes to seat me with two girls staring at a chart and half of the restaurant open. When I did bring my water out they didn't bring the catchup had asked for it twice finally got it halfway through the meal. My drink ran out and of course nobody refilled it it's at there on the table empty through the entire meal. Went here a few weekends ago with my family. We had a party of ten, including three small children, so we knew seating might be an issue. After about 20 minutes, we were finally sat but in two separate booths instead of one big table. The seater, who also happened to be the manager, was extremely rude and told us that this was the best they could do. Not even 5 minutes after we sat down, two other parties of about the same size were sat at large tables. I can't understand why we couldn't have been sat there! Our server was adequate but very busy, which was understandable, although she was not very attentive and did not communicate with us at an point in time. Food took almost 45 minutes to arrive at the table and had obviously sat in the window for a while before being run to the table. Our drinks were not refilled and our server did not check on us. After finishing our cold, over cooked food, we finally left. This place gave some of the worst service I have ever had and I will absolutely not be back. We gave this a place a second chance due to me really wanting a bomb omelette. We placed our over 100 dollar order online, thinking that it would be much easier and less likely to be messed up. Many orders were incorrect and missing items. I even sent one back because it was absolutely vile looking. I believe the manager they have now is new, but they really need better cook's in the kitchen. You can have a great manager, but if the cook's and kitchen staff aren't up to par, then the experience is going to be awful. We will not be returning. Seated after 5 minutes - and then 45 minutes later was told that our food had not come to the 'window' for the waitress. How long does it take to cook pancakes, bacon and eggs??? That was the first time our waitress came to us after taking our order. We paid for the food that we did not get, management apparently either didn't care or was completely absent. This is the 2nd time we have been to this IHop with very bad results. NEVER GOING AGAIN. I can get better service from McDonalds or Paneras just down the road. read more

We found out why the parking lot was empty. We were the only table in the whole restaurant ~ it took the server 10 minutes to enter our order. She forgot several things many times ~ basics like the creamer & syrup. They forgot a side of pancakes and hash browns & by that point everything had taken so long never mind. There were 3 other staff walking around & never helped or looked our way (uh, the coffee is cold we've been waiting for cream so long). Our one table of 5 took over 30 minutes to get our order.
