Well this sucked. The servers was nice but only made three trips to the table 1. To take our order 2. To bring one pot of coffee 3. To give us our ticket. Food did arrive fast but cold I ordered grits and the butter would not even melt in them and they were instant I could tell by the taste. Me and my friends sat in this mug for 20 min and didint even has a server come take our order for drinks.

Service was good. Restaurant is dirty. Needs a thorough cleaning and smelled like it has previously been under water. Booths separated by glass partitions but they kept every other booth closed because of COVID. Yet they let you wait for an open table by standing shoulder to shoulder with other customers who are waiting. It would be more logical to open all booths that are protected by glass partitions to keep people distanced. read more

This parking lot was a mess. I am always suspect of how clean the kitchen is when the overall exterior is so ill kept. The entry was not clean either. Usually IHOP is very busy on a Sunday morning. This one was less than 1/3 full at 8 am. Not a good sign. The food is of course standard IHOP. Cleanliness is my concern here. This is my second questionable IHOP in the last couple of months. The other bad experience in Rock Hill SC was one of organization. They were slammed and could not even sit people in the order they came in. They need to tighten up as a franchise. I can't exactly give a full 5-star review because it did take almost a full hour for me to get my take out of chicken strips and mozzarella sticks. That being said, I do realize it was Christmas night and there isn't a whole lot of options in town so I just sat quietly on my phone. Also, to be fair I almost got my food for free. The waiter who handed me my food had assumed I'd already paid, but alas my nature has me be honest. If I could give 0 stars I would. I've never been one to complain about a rest and I ALWAYS leave a tip. But we waited almost an hour just to be SEATED. And while we were waiting people who had online orders had their food shoved on a shelf in the back to get cold while they sat there back there staring at us. And it's not the fact they were busy they just didn't want to work, you look around and see dirty tables everywhere. A man waited 30 minutes just to pay. Been there twice, first time to pick up food i ordered over the phone. waited about 10 mins for someone just to cash me out and bring my food up which was ridiculous since i came an extra 5 mins later just to avoid that. got home, no syrup for my pancakes. whatever. second time i dined it. ordered food, waited 30 mins. no food. asked the waiter, since he was free, standing with other servers, talking and laughing, he walked away from me once i approached him and said, ill check gimme one minute. dude was rude as hell. waited another 15 mins, for a total of 45 mins. no food. walked out. ridiculous service. it wasnt even busy or packed. i was livid. never going to this IHOP EVER AGAIN! read more

Love the omelets and pancakes the staff is always friendly the price is moderately good

As we walked in, a couple leaving said, " we have had better service at a funeral". We walked in to a sea of red shirts, 10 servers in all, with one blue shirt. None of them were smiling, just the opposite- it did look like a bunch of Pallbearer's. As for sit here the " blue shirt" is glaring over the dining area. As he caught my eye - he glared in another direction. Don't get me wrong - Steph was very nice , polite and made our breakfast very nice. But as soon as they head to the kitchen, they are not met with an encouraging smile from "Blue Shirt". Just my perspective. read more

I understand that it was the night shift; however, the restaurant wasn't full and it took us around 50 minutes to get our food. While we were waiting, we noticed ants all over the wall next to us. When we got our food, my order was wrong (I ordered a sandwich and got an omelet), my friend's hash-browns were rock hard, and my other friend had a hair in her omelet. We also asked for refills on our drinks and never received them. To add to all of this, our waiter didn't come to check on us once. Horrible. read more

I'd give it negative stars if allowed service was not available. We should have walked out when we couldn't get a hostess to seat us but we stayed. The waitress was worse she couldn't even remember my order from the time I said it to the time she wrote it down asked 3 times and still got it wrong. No water refills and asked for extra napkins but got ignored. Had to ask for the check then never picked up the money. Hard to write a review when I never got served! Went there this last Sunday morning early. The hostess seated me in a booth by the window. None of the wait staff even looked my way for about 15 minutes. Mind you this place was about 10 % occupied and there were plenty of them around. They just kept chatting with the customers that were there eating already, making a point not to look my way. I would have complained but then I'd have to worry about them spitting in my food or something, the way they were conducting themselves. I decided to leave and the hostess didn't even notice. She was playing with her phone. I'm not sure why they remain in business. I called the manager and told him what had happened and he SEEMED remorseful, but it's apparent that he has a big problem to sort out there. read more

Average IHOP. I use to really enjoy this place but quality has left over the years. The guy that showed us to our seating acted as if he didn't want to be there. I continued to watch him after being seated and he was not a very enthusiastic person, which is not what you want your guest to experience right off. First impressions are vital. The waitress was in training and you could tell she was nervous but her trainer was there guiding her along. Overall both waitresses were great. Even the trainee was very polite and checking in on us. The food was decent. My little girl loved her pancakes. She's 2, so not hard to please. I had the t-bone with eggs and pancakes. I requested bacon on the side. Everything was great except the steak. The steak was decent but the seasoning on it, I didn't care for. I eat steak 1-2 times a week, so I'm a little picky on then. It may have just been my personal preference and others may enjoy the seasoning. Overall fast seating, courteous servers and despite having a 3/4 house the food was out very quick. They are very slow when it comes to pickup orders. Some of waiters and waitresses will look at you and ignor you.

Maybe 10 people in the entire place, we stood at the front for 15 min before anyone realized we needed to be seated. We sat at our table for 20 min before our drink order was taken. Do not eat here. The place is a disaster. You have to wait on benches out front when there are plenty of tables and booths empty. Don't understand this.
