Absolutely horrible experience half my order was missing and the food I did receive was horrible. . Sweet potato was old and dried up the meat was salty and cold. Called the restaurant after I got home and realized all of this. The manager on duty T. K. Wanted to argue with me about the meet issue and the sweet potato, which was dried up and full of strings in the middle absolutely disgusting. Manager requested that I bring the food back in and they would give me my missing items and a new sweet potato lol what a joke I had just literally picked up my food 15 minutes prior and was talking to the girl that was absolutely sweet about the issue and she remembered me just coming in and picking up the food. Had a party of 7 and were seated immediately on a Saturday night. Service was outstanding and the food was fresh and excellent. Grilled chicken was a little dry, but had good flavor. New York Strip was cooked perfectly and you can never go wrong with the fried pickles and sweet tea. We will be back. Come and check them out. read more

Well what can I say, but a whole lot! Stopped here on our way back to Alabama. This is my hometown and this was one of my very favorite places to eat. I was visiting for the weekend And attempted to get take out from here and the experience was not great. It took 20 minutes on hold just to order. I was told to be there in 30 minutes for pick up. I was mistaken for another customer. My food was not prepared the way I ordered. Asked for condiments and had to send her back twice for the correct ones. Then got to my hotel room only to realize missing lots of items including butter and utensils. I know this is a hard time for restaurants but there was no effort put into this. Just because I am not sitting in the restaurant doesn't make me any less of a paying customer. Since the COVID19 this place is on the down-ward spiral. The staff that work there in the front and dinning area are inattentive and care little. Because the wait staff are unmotivated and suffer from COVID brain the food is cold and tasteless. The chefs in the back can only make the as always, it is the waig staff that make it bad. read more

Let Me start by saying that I hate to leave a bad review for a local restaurant. I can't help myself with this one. My husband and I stopped in on Saturday and wanted to get something really good for lunch we had to wait in line approximately 15 to 20 minutes which wasn't a bad deal because it was pretty busy. once we were seated our waitress came over and got our drink orders and ask if there was anything that we needed from the appetizers and because we were only seated a few minutes before she came we need a time to look at The menu. She brought our drinks back and proceeded to take our order my husband got a ribeye I got the chicken fried steak and we ordered a cheeseburger and french fries for my two-year-old niece who is with us. We also ordered appetizer of the southwestern eggrolls and the cheese fries. This is where things get bad. We were seated at 12:17 and at 120 we still didn't have our appetizers. I had to get the attention of my waitress and ask her about them. The table sitting across from us who were seated about 30 minutes after we were had their appetizers with him 10 minutes of setting. She apologized and said she would check on them. She come back and tell us if they would be right out. They did come out about 10 minutes later and the eggrolls were cold in the center. And the french fries were barely done. I had to try to explain to a two-year-old girl that her food would be out shortly. Needless to say that all she knew was she was hungry! Once we got our food, my chicken fried steak was so hard that I could only eat the inside part! The burger was hard as well, she could only eat her fries! My husband ate his steak but it was pretty tough. I was really upset about the whole thing so I decided talking to a manager might cause a scene. My husband just paid the 78.00 bill and we left. Over priced for the cheep food you get. Service was just OK. They told us they were out of bread and would have some in 10 minutes. Everyone that came in after us got bread. She then (after a long wait) brought our food and brought the onion bloom anyways! We ended up having to pay for it and none of us were too happy. I love this Restaurant! We go there every couple of months if we can. My husband likes the steaks and the chicken Alfredo and I love their steaks and the grilled shrimp is great too. They have some wonderful seasonings on them. We both love the green beans you can get on the side. Their side salads are good too. They are pretty big for side salads. And they have Onion Blossoms! I love onion blossoms and as far as I know this is the only place around here to get them. They are delicious!! And big! One is enough for the whole party. And the service is usually excellent too. The "saloon" theme at this particular location is pretty worn so my thought was blah but maybe the food will make up for the atmosphere. About 10 min later, a rushed waitress (who wasn't the person who got us the rolls) walked up and said "you ready to order?" No introduction, no hi ya, no apology for the long wait. (FYI..we were there at 4:45ish and 1 of maybe 6 tables). OK...we ordered filets with baked potato and baked potato soup. Soup came out and was less than appealing. It had no flavor and reminded me of gravy. But the rolls were good! The meals arrived and my well done steak was bleeding and my baked potato was cold. My husband also had to send back his steak. While our steaks were being cooked again, I was brought another potato... But it was cold. Our waitress bought me a 3rd potato that was still cold. At this point I gave up and said it was fine... Our steaks finally came back but both were so burnt they were almost a joke. The waitress did apologize for the meal not going well and even complimented us for still having a smile on our face. We were offered my meal free as I didn't eat any of it. Please know that this is the 1st time ever that I was not able to eat my meal...I am not such a food snob to leave hungry! Came here because the wait at Texas Roadhouse was too long. No one really greeted us but we were seated immediately. Our waiter was nice but not very good. Was asking if we were ready to order as we are trying to get our kids into the high chairs. We got drinks and rolls quickly but the rolls were not very good. I think we've been spoiled with TR rolls. Our kids liked them though. My wife ordered a burger and I got some chicken. It took a bit, but not too long to get our food. When it arrived there were no condiments with the burger and no dipping sauce for the chicken. Not a big deal but just one more thing to ask for. Wife's burger was dry even though she ordered it medium. My chicken was barely warm but I'm not one to complain to the waiter. I just ate it. Kids food was a good temp and they enjoyed it. Worst restaurant in Jonesboro! Don't waste your time if you want your order to be correct! I ordered sirloin tips with no green peppers with a baked sweet potato with no sugar cause I'm diabetic. I was brought exactly the opposite! Sent it back. They bring the right potato and the same meat I had, the kitchen staff just picked the peppers off. I can't stand green peppers and they hurt my stomach. Spoke to the manager who tried to make it right and in the end he brought me some sort of meat that was black all the way through! It's a good place. It's your average steakhouse. Service is always good-if not great! Steak prices have risen over the years and I'm willing to pay $20+ for a quality, melt in your mouth steak. I enjoy center cut filets, however, I expect to get just that-consistently, cooked to order (medium rare) every visit- especially at such a popular steakhouse. I have wasted money on too many separate occasions on over cooked or tough gristle filled steaks. I now have a new steak place. The rest of the menu is good and I go there when friends or family wish to go, I just don't get any of their steaks. I do recommend everything else on the menu.
