Tried to have evening at this ihop location, their were a few people in the restaurant at the time, the waitress blatant told me she couldn't serve me because I wasn't wearing a mask. Today I came to Ihop, and there was a family sitting down, so I thought they were waiting for a table. After waiting for 5 minutes I asked them how long they had been sitting there. they said that they had been sitting there and nobody even greeted them. I saw plenty of staff walking around, and nobody even had the decency to greet us and inform us that there would be such a long wait. I walked up to an older Caucasian lady and asked her "Are Yal super busy to where you can't greet?" All she said was that they were super busy. Service was abysmal. The cooks got my order wrong, I sent my food back and they sent it back out incorrect, insisting that it was right. I ordered a breakfast burger... it came out with no patty and your usual burger toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, etc.), which it's not supposed to have. The service was okay and the food was okay. The only thing that really bugged my family and I was they clearly have no one to clean tables. We sat next to a dirty table for over 45 mins. Then after not seeing our waiter for over 30 mins a waitress came and gave us our food which was cold and then spilled my moms food all over the floor. Will never go back the wait was too long they said they they only had one cook and that the manager was helping on the kitchen. i Oder French toast and they brought them out burned they were black. I advised her that they were burned she said let me get the manager. The manager came her name is Jamila. The first thing she said was : what's going on, super rude saying that's how the French toast are done knowing they were extremely burned said I know how they are done I been here for two years never once apologize will never go back there if the management have that kind of attitude what can I expect of the rest of the employees when management disrespects the customers. If I could rate this ihop a negative, I would. I ordered food through UberEats, waited 25 minutes for the delivery from when they picked it up. I did not receive my hash-browns with my 2x2x2 meal so I was complaining, my boyfriend was nice enough to give me his hash-browns from his breakfast sampler just for me to find a long black, straight hair cooked in them. I'm pregnant so I couldn't help but burst into tears, I completely lost my appetite and threw my food away. Never again will I eat iHop let alone this location. read more

Unfortunately this restaurant location has almost always had my delivery order incomplete (9 out of 10).

I placed a $30+ order via Grubhub. Upon the driver's arrival he was told that my order was given to someone else, and they would not be replacing it. I called the restaurant & was on hold for @ 5 minutes. The lady that answered, Jody, asked what I'd ordered then proceeded to tell me that she had just walked in the door, hadn't clocked in yet, & didn't know what was going on. I asked if I needed to come up there to straighten things out & was told to ask the Grubhub driver to go in and ask for the manager. They displayed a total lack of professionalism with both the driver & myself despite the fact that it was their mistake. This type of behavior is unacceptable when you're in a customer service based position. Needless to say I will not be a patron at this location again. read more

Like honestly, don't even bother going here. If you're going to eat at IHOP, go to the one on fry and i-10, it's worth the extra 5 minute drive. I'm here on a Sunday afternoon and I totally expect the service to be slow (30-45min wait for food) since it's usually packed with people. However, I did not expect to wait 40 minutes to get our drink order and over an hour for our food. Also it's not like the place was super full of people because there were various empty tables around us. Oh we were a party of four by the way. But as for the food, it wasn't the worst thing in the world, but it could have definitely been better, compared to other IHOPs I have dined at. read more

Where do I begin?? The service was terrible, after we waited at least 30-40 minutes for our food, my husband got served first and was finished with his food before mine was served! The place was FILTHY, and no one seemed to care, the employees were just standing around laughing and going about their business. Finally, my food arrives, it was wrong, of course, and by the time it was right, I was served each item one thing at a time, just awful. Then, just as I suspected, when we got the check it was wrong as well. They charged me for my meal, then again for each individual item!! Just stay away from this place! The one star is for the food which was actually good. The service absolutely SUCKED. There were only ten people in the place at 1:30am on a Saturday night and they couldn't keep up with the patrons. I guess I should count my blessings we at least got a seat after watching someone come in after us and stand at the hostess stand for fifteen minutes while all three of the members of the wait staff walked past him at least twice before someone asked if he had a to go order or wanted to be seated. If the place is being managed, you would never know because no one was in evidence and the wait staff all seemed lost and in above their heads. Just save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. We were seated and it took 10 minutes for anybody to say anything to us. We ordered coffee and our food at the same time once our wallet appeared, not trusting him to come back quickly. It took another 5 minutes for the coffee to get there, so 15 minutes without a drink. Took another 5 minutes after that for the food to get there, and it was stone cold! We would have complained, but our waiter disappeared completely at that point. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We went tonight, the place was dead at dinner time. THAT should of told me something was off. We got our food and 4/6 meals were COLD. We complained and they replaced two of the plates super fast. Obviously microwaved. We received the bill at the end and we were not compensated for any of the cold meals, one which wasn't even eaten. We asked for the manager and the cook comes out saying that she cooked those meals herself and they were given to us immediately! How did they get cold so fast going from the grill to the table? THIS LOCATION SUCKS THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE IT TOOK 30 plus minutes to get seated and we got there at 9:30 and got a booth by 10:10 then we got are drinks and ordered are appetizers and we ordered two mozzarella stick one Mac and cheese and French toast and we got the mac and cheese and everything was good in the Mac and cheese but the mozzarella sticks where soggy and under cooked we never got the French toast and never got are food and the server said that they are under staffed but we where the second table in the restaurant with six servers walking around but I could keep going on about how unbelievably sucky this i hop is But I think I hit it on top read more

Ok, so my husband and I walked in and were sitting for about ten mins talking about the weather. Not one person came to wait one us. But they had three people ( waitresses ) cleaning. Then they started talking about, who was going to take our table. (and not discrete out loud) All I thought to myself, it is your job, and why wouldn't you want to help. They looked around for someone else. And to top it off; we where there last weekend and the service was so horrible! This lady acted like she was not interested in working, we figured she was just having a bad day and wanted to give it another try. But we were wrong, the manager should take more time to develop its service team as they are the face of the location and brand of the business. On a Sunday, out of hot chocolate, out of condiments, not attentive to customers, but its IHOP and we love IHOP.

My server was Daleonne and even though it was super busy, he was on top of it. He kept our coffee filled, let us know the status of our order and checked on us often. He was great at managing different tables in different stages of ordering and keeping everything straight. It was especially challenging because the table next to us could only speak French, but he managed to get their order and communicate everything with them. This was definitely one of my better experiences at an IHOP restaurant. We will be back on our next visit to Houston. read more

This is the most unorganized restaurant in Katy. The tables were so small & so close together. We did not have a waiter, someone took our order, someone else brought our food, which was barely warm. Did not ask if we needed anything else, was gone in a flash. We got ketchup bottle off of table that had not been cleaned & it was empty. Ask at another table if could use theirs, it was empty. The first time I came here I got food poisoning probably cause the first manager was smoking weed all the time in the back. The second time I came here there was a 30min wait yet there were empty tables on spring break then I had to wait another 30min for the food then when my waffle came out it was so cold the butter wouldn't even melt on it. Had a great waitress but the problem is the manager he's so dumb he didn't schedule hardly any cooks on a busy day so he was helping them cook therefore he was also responsible forgiving out cold food and all the food late. So many people walked out because they got tired of waiting and even one waitress walked out because the manager is such a failure.
