I decided to give this iHop a try. I went on a Saturday morning around 9am, it was packed as expected. I was seated within 5 mins (party of 1). So let me start off by saying I almost walked out after sitting down and reading all the bad reviews. The waiter did tell me it would be 25 mins for my food to come out because they were backed up in the kitchen with several orders. I did tell him I was in a hurry and appreciated if he put my order in right away. I ordered the usual breakfast items., eggs, hash browns, ham, pancakes. CJ my waiter was polite, checked on me several times and brought my food out within 15 mins. I was in and out within 45 mins. Not bad despite all the bad reviews. I did ask two other parties next to me and they waited 30-40 mins for their food to come out. So call it what you want, I guess I lucked out. I'm giving it 3 stars for the food, it was bland and tasteless. It's been a while I've been to an iHop, don't recall the eggs and hash browns being soo bland. read more

This ihop just opened 2 days ago. I was worried that since they were new they were not gonna have their kinks sorted out yet but I was wrong. As soon as you walk in, the hostess opens the door for you and greets you with a big smile. I was promptly sat (table for 1, I was craving pancakes lol) and given a booth. The establishment is new so obviously everything was really clean and well presented. Yetunde was my server. She was very friendly and attentive (maybe even too attentive lol). I ordered the build your own breakfast with oj and vanilla coffee Everything came out very tasty, hot, and well prepared. Again, my server, yetunde, asked me if everything was good and it was. Finished my meal, did that 1 question phone survey so next time I get free pancakes. Another server picked up my plates so it shows there is teamwork in there. ( I'm a server so I appreciate these things lol) As I was leaving, I was thanked for coming in and the hostess opened the door for me again... I saw that there was training crews in there and they're doing a great job! Outstanding service, food, and hospitality! I will definitely be back for my pancake fix. Thanks guys! read more

If I could do a half star I would. Customer service sucks so don't expect a smile when you walk in. The floor looks like the after math when hurricane Harvey hit Houston. Everyone looks like they are either hungover or hate working here. Our waitress was sick and kept wiping her nose with her hand, it was really disgusting. I know all restaurants are having staffing problems now that we're getting back from Covid, but when you have employees here that clearly do not want to work and are just a rude addition to the establishment, you have a problem that makes customers not want to come back! I went for breakfast on Saturday and upon walking in, there was a young lady standing at the hostess stand and she just stared at me and didn't greet me at all. I told her a table for two and she shoved the clipboard towards me and said write your name. I asked her how long the wait was because I clearly saw a lot of empty tables, and she said 45 minutes. We didn't have anything else to do, so we decided to wait. But I barely sat down and another person came up and said I can seat you right away. Our waiter was outstanding... I believe he said his name was Terrell. Poor guy was running all the tables in our section, placing orders, trying to assure people that the food was coming, and having to bus his own tables. Eventually, the young lady at the front door went over to a table and was talking to a customer, while people were walking in, standing there waiting to be greeted. I don't know if a manager just wasn't on staff that day, but I would've told her to get back to her job and if she didn't want to be there, she needed to leave. After the long wait for food, it was good and I saw all the other employees running around busting their butts. But when you clearly have a managerial problem and certain employees standing around and doing nothing, you need to reevaluate or risk having a lot of angry customers. I would avoid this establishment until they get everything back in order. read more

This is the absolute worst iHop AVOID AT ALL COST. This is probably my 4 visit so shame on me. You think with time things would get better but I've come on 4 separate occasions months apart and try to avoid at all cost. We usually go to the Fry and I-10 (10 mins down the road) location but we needed a quick in and out and it's the closes to our place. We sat for 10 mins with no greet. Even the managers didn't acknowledge us. I would say it's because there busy but it's just poor management. I worked in the service industry for awhile and have never given or received such poor service. read more

This place had no clue how to cook and serve food. Went there this morning for the seasonal pancakes. An hour later we were served our food cold. The manager came over to apologize and said they would not charge us an redo the order in 10 minutes. Ps 20 minutes later we walked out and saw many more people leaving and complaining. With so many places for breakfast in the area you would think they would try harder, I guess the owner doesn't care bit the franchising company should, I am calling them tomorrow. read more

The server was lovely, so no shade on him, but the food was not great. First of all, I don't know if the decision was handed down by corporate or if the decision was made by management at this particular location, but the pancakes were tiny compared to what they used to be. Then, my daughter's stack of strawberry banana pancakes weren't even cooked all the way through, so she didn't finish her meal. Lastly, the omelet was a joke compared to the size it used to be. Like I said, no hate on the employees who I'm sure get no say in how things are made or how much food they're allowed to cook with per order. This was my 2nd time at this particular location, and both times (dinner/evening), the restaurant was completely dead. So I bet this store is paying out the you know what in food costs and could be trying to cut costs - my theory for why the portions were so dang small. Still tipped 20%, because if you can't afford to tip, then you can't afford to eat out. Won't be going back, but again, lovely server, he was great. read more

So this is my new local IHOP. I love pancakes and everything breakfast related, so in my mind there are not many ways to mess this up (luckily aside from generic tasting food, they didn't fail) Establishment: star earned - The restaurant has the familiar IHOP look, albeit smaller than others I've seen and eaten at (I think this is like a "IHOP express or something). The interior was of course, new looking and the dining area was clean and comfortable. so comfortable i did linger for a while after finishing my food. I didn't fee compelled to eat, pay, and get out of there. Did I mention they have WiFi! Yeah....this may become my new late night hang out. Waitstaff/Counter person : star earned - Speaking of lingering, the servers were nice and never rushed me to order or to leave. I've been here at midnight and mid-day, when it was busy and never felt rushed. They even encourage you to linger especially during the late evening hours. (Did I tell you..... they have WiFi !! Come on, I cant be the only one excited about that (aren't you tired of Starbucks? Starbucks doesn't have pancakes!!) Service: 1/2 star earned (but we all know half stars don't count unless the're two of them ^_^ - The wait time was pretty standard (aka long), and there were no issues with my order. Food/Drinks: star earned - The food here is pretty OK. It's IHOP, so as expected, everything tastes generic, even the fancy flavored pancakes. I mean...the pancake choices are always changing and they are fun, tasty and well thought out, but they aren't mind blowing. Food/Drinks: not earned - Ok, as much as I like the hot coco, and endless coffee, it's really not amazing. The coffee is bland and weak. It's safe to say it won't keep you up at night. Not only did the family of 4 walk out without paying their bill due to bad service; my order was also incomplete. The bill was higher than what it should be. If I could give a negative star I would. I've given this location several visits to improve. Each time I'm disappointed. Tonight was the last time I'll go. Upon arrival the waiter was rude and short with us. Once we were seated he wasn't helpful at all. Order placed and after 45 minutes we left money on the table for our drinks. Only 1 waitress was working and the poor sweet girl couldn't get any help from her manager..... she was so busy trying to keep up with all her tables she forgot to give me a straw ... so when the manager on duty walked by I asked her for one and she looked at me so rude like I was crazy for asking her and then yelled at the girl to get it for me. COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS & RUDE ......... maybe instead of walking around not helping out her staff and just running her mouth to people she should wipe down the completely disgusting front doors of the place and front entrance. Okay well we all know IHOP is not your average 5 star. I mean let's face it, I only go for the pancakes plus the fact that service is USUALLY quick. Well today was a total disaster!!! We arrived at the table and ordered our food immediately. My food arrived to the table with a cold cheese on my eggs, just slapped on it. I sent it back to the kitchen and they warmed it up, drying out my eggs and sending it back to me!!!!!! Seriously!!!! Is that what we're doing now?!! Disgraceful is what today was.. I've been to this location multiple times. They few occasions I've sat in, the restaurant wasn't too busy so I recieved average ihop service. The most recent visit convinced me that this was a location I shouldn't give my business anymore. I placed an online order. Got to the restaurant, waiting ten mins to be greeted. Waitstaff walked as if the didn't have people waiting and didn't greet anyone. A couple came to the front to even complained about how rude service was. It NEVER fails!!! Always the WORST service!! We hadn't been here for a while for this very reason. Decided to give it a shot again and BIG MISTAKE! All the tables were dirty so there was no where to sit. Yet there were only 2 small tables eating. People just standing around. Then they cleaned one table and it was STILL soaking wet and placed the menus on the table. So the menus were stuck! It was disgusting! By the way, table was STILL dirty along with the seats. We ordered water and coffee. Sat there for 5 to 6 mins and NEVER got out drinks. Finally, we just walked out. When will SOMEONE (MANAGEMENT/OWNER) do something about this place. We came into the store today and were told 30 min wait. No problem! Then after 45 mins (still no big deal), we were informed that once seated it would be another 45-1 hr to get our food due to the volume of to-go orders that management would not allow the store to turn off. We left without eating. If the store does not want to serve in person orders, then please go to-go only. There was probably 4 tables seated in the entire place we were promptly in the back in a dirty half booth with chairs, the table was sticky and had syrup all over it,the booth smelled like dirty body, the coffee pot have food particles on it. We sat for 15 min before we had to grab someone to take our drink order and went ahead and ordered our food as well, went to the restrooms and they were beyond disgusting like going to a bar restroom on Saturday night. This is a joke! We were there for over an hour, our waitress waited 50 mins to put in our order. I only found this out after walking to the kitchen where all the managers were hanging out. I asked the manager what was taking so as others had already got up and left with out even getting served. He responded that out ticket was placed 10 mins ago. We had been there an HOUR! If I could I would rate this IHOP at no stars. I know everyone knows there's always a wait at any IHOP locations but the staff were all over the place the kitchen the diner area and in another room where the go go pick ups were.
