I have been here working for three weeks and I have to tell you that I have had the best breakfast from IHOP. The entire time I have been here the best French toast and hashbrowns ever I was totally shocked with an American restaurant being so good in another country because things are prepared differently most of the time, but I have had great service from DoorDash Since I've been here with IHOP. I cannot speak to the ambience because I've never been inside the restaurant, but as far as the taste in the cooking of the food, absolutely amazing you will not be disappointed. read more

Did not meet my expectations. The food did not match the name, I ordered a New York cheesecake pancake but it was mainly strawberry syrup and pieces of cheesecake. They took unnecessarily long for pancakes. read more

Don't go here if you are short on time because it is extremely slow. I don't know if all gravy in Canada is supposed to be that runny but the gravy on my chicken fried steak was the consistency of water. I come to Lethbridge once a year, but sadly will not return to IHOP. read more

IHOP is one of my favorites Canadian restaurants. I went IHOP in the City of Lethbridge with my boyfriend on my birthday April 25th, 2017 Morning. The place was not crowded since it has already been passed breakfast time. The service was super slow, unfriendly, and terrible. We had to wait for 20 mins to get a seat even though there are still many empty seats inside the restaurant. After we got a seated, we had to wait another 20 -30 mins for the order taken. The food came after 30 mins. To have a breakfast, you have to spend more than 2 hours in IHOP. It's very horrible place to go. Please don't waste your time at IHOP Lethbridge. The food there is OK. We had ordered 3 pcs Original Buttermilk Pancakes, Create combo - Crepes ( two eggs, two slices of bacon, hash brown, and strawberries & cream crepes) and two cups of Coffee. The portion of food was large. The taste of the food was the same as many other IHOP place. The price is around average. read more

We frequent this place and have yet to have a bad breakfast. The country omelette and steak omelettes are excellent value that will leave you over full if you can get through it all including your 3 stack of pancakes. We avoid weekends there due to its popularity but getting there early will have you beating the hangover crowd. Well recommended from 2 people that go there often read more

IHOP is one of my favourite restaurant chains, right up there with the Golden Griddle. Unfortunately neither of them are in Ottawa. We ordered pancakes - which they are famous for. So many choices it's hard to make a decision!! My strawberry banana pancakes and hubby's nutty pancakes were delicious. Bottomless coffee helped kick start the day. So I know that delivery isn't always the best and have a little time on the food but when your mozza sticks are still frozen inside, the chicken fingers look microwaved, soggy hash browns, burnt bacon and crusty fruit.. Called very nicely wanting something done since we weren't able to eat it, the woman made it seem like an inconviniece. We ordered through skip the dishes and she said the refund is a credit on the app and they should have called. I explained they have not yet and sorry for the misunderstanding she said "oh figures they haven't called that sounds about right. Makes sense." Unsure whether they were sarcastic comments to me or bad mouthing skip the dishes either way really unprofessional.. Its a bigger inconvenience to throw out $50 worth of food because of apauling quality. Will not be returning on account of low quality food and terrible service. read more

I first went to Ihop in California, and it was fantastic, then went to Calgary with too high of expectations, and it ended up being awful, finally building up the guts to try out the Lethbridge location, I was torn away again. Ordered the cinnastack pancakes and it was very sloppy, and the pancakes were complete mush. Also ordered the strawberry crepes, but was definitely disappointed that the strawberries were still frozen like they were poured right from the freezer. Food is definitely not the best quality in the fruit department, but friends that have ordered bacon and eggs said that their food was decent. read more

Ordered the Breakfast Sampler through Skip the Dishes. The delivery wasn't particularly late, but the food was.. disappointing. The hash browns were cold and soggy, the bacon was limp, the sausages tasted stale. The pancakes were alright, but nothing special. I was severely underwhelmed by the experience, and will likely never order from there again. read more

Ok, so we weren't expecting much, just a decent meal but unfortunately we got less than that. We both got eggs Bennie, the boy got the burger and the girl got the cinnamon French toast. The eggs Bennie had some yellow sauce but not hollandaise and stale English muffin with over fried ham. The hash browns were a pile of shredded potato fried on the outside and undercooked on the inside. Not sure what it was but I've had a stomach ache ever since. The food is good here, although sometimes you don't get a whole lot for what you pay for. The service each time I have been here could be better, they either take forever, or they leave for their smoke break for 20 minutes leaving the whole section unattended. read more

If a place can't even get toast right I wouldn't trust it. Waited 40 mins in an empty restaurant,maybe 5 tables, what came was bullshit food. Omelette had leftover steak! Toast was cold with the butter not melted in the toast. Coffee was cold. Why do I always make the mistake of coming here hoping for different results? I'm an idiot read more

AVOID THIS IHOP WHATEVER YOU DO!! This was our DUBIOUS second visit to this IHOP location, we've been to other IHOP locations and had excellent meals, not so with this place. Today's "breakfast" was the most disgusting meal ever served to my husband and myself. We ordered two omelets, which each came with three pancakes, and we each ordered a side of bacon and a side of breakfast potatoes. First indicator we had made a bad choice was the smell of old, dirty cooking oil wafting from our bags, next we took out the packages of one bag and the said dirty oil had oozed all over the packages in the bag, the bag contained our bacon orders and our "breakfast potatoes", which when I think of breakfast potatoes, I think seasoned cubed potatoes; no, these were pucks of dirty, burnt beyond edibility, shredded hash browns, these greasy burnt mounds were the source of the foul smell and ooze. Neither seasoned, nor edible. We moved on to our omelets, to be disappointed yet again; I had ordered the Bacon Temptation Omelette "Our omelette stuffed with custom cured hickory-smoked bacon with Jack & Cheddar cheese blend & a white cheese sauce. Topped with tomatoes & more bacon"says the website menu, I asked for mushrooms to be added to my omelet, how crazy of me to think that "stuffed" actually means that there will actually be something inside said omelet besides the gross white snot they call "cheese sauce"- no bacon, no cheese, no mushrooms, just flavorless snot sauce, there was bacon and tomato and mushrooms on the outside of the omelet, but the tomato was not ripe and the rest had that dirty griddle taste. Both my husbands' and my pancakes were underdone and incomplete, he ordered the Mexican churro pancakes for which we paid extra and got plain pancakes, I ordered NY cheesecake pancakes of which I got 1 out of three, and that one supposed to be "filled" with cheesecake bits, had 3 tiny tiny cheesecake flecks in the center. The bacon also tasted old and flavorless, like it had been cooked at 5am run under the tap and let sit in a heating table to be served by 10am after being dipped in the same rancid oil as the rest of our breakfast. We paid over $50 for a meal that made us both ill. I don't know who is at fault for such an appalling meal whether it is the staff cooking the food, or the owner supplying the food to be cooked but somewhere in this restaurant there is someone who just doesn't give a damn about quality or decency. I would strongly urge avoidance of the restaurant. read more

Once I was able to get in as there is no door opener button or service of any sort I had to park outside due to limited seating space. I asked to have food cutup in the kitchen due to a disability and was redirected to a different meal. The pancakes still came uncut. I was offered assistance out whan I asked; thank you for that. The food was delcious and I am also thankful for that. read more

Extremely slow service, been here 3 times in the past year and a half, disappointed every time. Food seemed well prepared, but was served cold each time, pretty sure it sat on the counter too long before serving. Cooks seem like they are on the ball, but the serving staff is horrible. I'll be going down the street to Smitty's instead from now on. read more
