Poor service. When calling in orders, the workers should ask for name and phone number. Upon picking up your food, they should ask for your name and phone number that you called from. I ordered the "Rise and Shine" breakfast. I always enjoyed that meal when I was in Tampa Fl. Quite disappointed. The scrambled eggs and the bacon were fine but the hot tea tasted heavily of chlorine . The potatoes were soggy and tasted of burned vegetable oil and the toast was ice cold with a clump of butter on top. Not at all what I hoped for. read more

I just moved to the area and I was so excited to see an IHOP close by. However my excitement was short lived. I guess I can go step by step. First we walked in and and were quickly greeted. (That was nice) Then we looked at the menu and we chose 2 coffees, a cheese omelette and Belgian waffle. This is where my visit turned to average then to upset. First the coffee took 20 minutes to get. Our food came before my coffee . Now the food was for the most part bleak and boring. I really don't want to go into details. This store really needs help. Went yesterday and from start to finish had a really sucky experience, took very long to get service, their fountain drinks weren't working, they were out of fruit, my husbands food was cold, took a long time to get whatever we asked for, the waitress said they were down a cook but it seemed like much more than that, manager was hosting and doing togo so she couldn't properly manage the floor and The icing on the cake, there was frozen boxes of hash browns and other items sitting out by the bathroom door like a truck hadn't been put away. read more

Went here with my toddler son to enjoy a simple lunch and it turned out to be terrible. We ordered a kids pancake meal. The pancakes were falling apart. The top layer of the pancake just peeled off. It was undercooked and the batter in the inside was still runny. I also ordered the Spicy Chicken Ranch Sandwich and they served me a RAW chicken sandwich. I would post a picture of it if I could. The chicken was completely pink. It looked like they just cooked the surface of it and just served to me in a hurry. I had taken 3 bites of it before I realized how raw it was. Its not like it was mostly cooked and a little pink. It was completely raw on the inside. The waitress just apologized and said she could get me something else but I was already turned off by how they could serve something like that. I will not be going back to this location ever again. We went this evening and there was nobody in the place. Ordered an ice tea and a chocolate milk... they were out of both. Then we ordered a split decision which included (states on the menu) bacon and sausage. Waiter returned to our table letting us know that the owner will only allow us to get one or another. We pointed to the menu description and the waiter replied that's what the owner wants... walked out and will not be returning. read more

What's not to love about breakfast food? I think this location is only a year or so old, so it's still very clean, modern and aesthetically appealing. They have a huge selection of not just breakfast food, but regular all American type food as well. I got the steak tips and eggs which are always very good. I'm only taking away one star because it wasn't very busy when we went and it still took along time for the food to come out. In general, I'm not someone who gets annoyed if food doesn't Come out quick, but there were maybe 10 tables being occupied and two of them got there after us and still got their food before us. Breakfast sampler is always an excellent choice because it has EVERYTHING you could want at a good price. Today was "all you can eat" pancakes which was a little misleading. They systematically pace your consumption by making you wait for each 2 pancakes they bring you. Our sampler arrived at the table about 5 minutes before the original 2 pancakes that accompanies the breakfast combo arrived. My boyfriend and I ordered a second stack. We had to wait a while for them and they did not arrive together so we were forced to watch the other one eat. read more

Food tasted great but an employee in the back was not wearing his mask. I work at a restaurant and I get how hot it can be with the mask on but the fact that he had it off the whole time I was there was unacceptable. There is a pandemic going on just wear the mask. I can't say I'll be having many meals here. I often went to diner's and had eggs. Here I had eggs a side of pancakes, Oj, and coffee. The eggs and coffee ok- The pancakes were like rubber I could not even cut with a folk, glad there was a knife at the table. I requested bottle water. Server stated, they don't have any. He made no suggestion to replace it with a filtered water. When my change came it had seven or so pennies which I left along with a proper tip. Did you run out of nickels? We visited midweek so there was no wait to be seated. Our server was professional and efficient. We ordered combos and our waiter switched around the order so that it would save us some money. I honestly wasn't concerned about the $2 each but I think it was great that he offered to do that. so the money we saved went back to him :) The harvest grain pancakes were delicious as usual, and the eggs were cooked perfect. This is the worst ihop i have ever been to.. sadly enough i just moved nearby and i will never go to this ihop ever again... first off they burn everything.. the toast the pancakes... the bacon everything was burnt... the servicw was slow.. I was there on a day yhat was slow... it took me over one hour to get out of there even after i did not eat my breakfast ... even after i returned the first order... took me 20 minutes to get ny bill.. then the cashier told me i had to wait for my server to cash me out... You know my position on main stream restaurants. I'm not always sold on them. But seeing one of my Yelp friend recently go made me think to give them another try. I chose this location because I've been by it many times before. The parking lot was huge, but there surprisingly wasn't a lot of parking, not because "IHOP" was packed, it was because they share the lot with other businesses. This is the nicest location I've seen so far. It looks renovated and real fancy. When I walked in I was seating and the service was substandard as usual. I got a omelette and the wait wasn't long. I actually enjoy this one, they got it right. I enjoyed the onions and cheese in it. My brother got pancakes and he made me try them, I did and they were good. It was good to go and I might go again. But this wasn't enough to sell me on the idea that "IHOP" a main stream restaurant is better then a "Mom & Pop" diner. But if I needed to I can say I would definitely recommend this place. read more

What can I say other than the food is standard at all IHOPs, everything is premade. What varies is the customer service. I believe this is my second visit to this location so what I noticed is that there were like 15 wait staff on hand, we were seated pretty quickly by the host and so I ordered coffee but there was no milk "really". Any way the manager was very apologetic and send someone across the street to the 7/11. What I didn't understand was why the host was coming to take our order when there was all the other wait staff just sitting around and checking their cells. The manager was very proactive but she seemed overwhelmed, fairly new. So overall food was good, wait staff was somewhat lacking, but it was noticeable they were trying. I believe they will get it someday, So if you like IHOP, this location is much better than the one in Westbury - Those guys are lost in the sauce! read more

Came in here for breakfast and was super disappointed. I ordered the simple n fit breakfast which comes with scrambled egg whites, two pieces of turkey bacon, seasonal fruit, and whole wheat toast. I asked to switch whole wheat for rye toast instead, and our server Tariq said it wouldn't be possible. He advised me to order a different meal instead, if I wanted different toast. I was super shocked, and obviously if it had to do with paying a little extra, I would have. But i was told no. Lastly, my fruit cup was never brought out until I asked for it. Worst service I ever received! I get there, get seated and within 10 seconds of getting the menu I am being pushed to order. I ask for a minute and literally ordered one minute later after I got my coffee. I looked around and they scrambled to find me a new table and gave a faint apology. I got seated and another waiter had the nerve to give me another menu and asked me to order. I know that this facility is new construction, but there were water stains on some ceiling tiles. Gotta get someone on the roof to patch up the holes. Not too long ago (July? August?), I received a coupon for a free stack of pancakes in my email. The coupon clearly stated, "free full stack of any of our world famous pancakes". I had previously used the coupon for my mom's birthday during the shutdown in April at this location for pick up/to go & didn't have a problem using the coupon. This second time, I called to order for pick up/to go. A female answered the phone, who told me the coupon was only good for only the original stack & was for dine in only. I told her the coupon clearly stated ANY full stack & didn't say anything about dine in only. She acted like she was doing me a favor to even honor the coupon for the original stack & to make the order to go, stating how the coupon said, "other restrictions may apply" (which it did at the bottom) but to me sounds like they can make up their own rules as they choose. My first coupon use, I had ordered additional food & gave gratuity. This second coupon, due the issue I was given, I didn't order additional food & didn't give gratuity. Fast forward to today; I received another coupon in my email for the same free full stack of pancakes. After my last experience, I opted to go to the Farmingdale location instead & dined in. As soon as I showed the server my coupon, she said the coupon was for any full stack of pancakes. Exactly!!! Don't think I would come back to the Levittown location. IHOP is a dead company walking. The food quality that I remember from even a few years ago is apparently long gone. If they're not reheating frozen food with a microwave in the kitchen, I would be extremely surprised. The bacon was like greasy jerky, the ham was like dry rawhide, and the hash browns looked like they came straight out of the box in the frozen food section of the supermarket. First off, my family & I love going to IHOP, but this location is terrible! My daughter begged to go here for a late lunch & ordered her all-time favorite ~ buttermilk pancakes & vanilla milkshake. It was a Saturday late lunch date around 1:30 pm, place was not crowded. We were seated right away & our server came & introduced himself. He immediately asked us if "we're ready to order". He did not even ask if we want a glass of water or anything like that. Knowing what I wanted, we ordered food & oh boy! 30 minute wait for an omelette & for my daughter's pancakes. Wow!!! The server did not even ask us how the food was or if we need anything. I felt a little jealous with the kind of service the other male server was providing the guests across our table that he was serving. The next time we saw our server was when he handed our bill. I mean, really??!!! I thought of not leaving a tip because I was really pissed with the quality of service. I left $1 for him for delivering our food into our table. Tip is something you give depending on how well you were treated & served, right?! If I can leave 0 star, I would. Please look for other places / IHOP locations.
