Food was great service was outstanding- our server Damian was one of the nicest and professional servers ever!

I'm not sure what happened to this location but my family and I will not go back. First day of our staycation, we decided to go out for breakfast. It was pretty crowded but the wait wasn't very long. After a 15 minute wait, my family of 4 was led to our table. One of the tables was still still dirty as well as the chairs. After being cleaned, we sat down. It was close to 10 minutes before we met our server. After she took our order, we waited another 20 minutes before getting our drinks, in which the server spilled my son's drink before it reached him. Our napkins were also wet. Another 30 minutes of waiting before we decided to leave. We never did get our food. Service - 0 stars, Clean - 0 stars. I would also like to add that with the servers being customer-facing, their appearance should be impeccable- hair and nails included. We will not be returning to this location. read more

This Ihop location is extremely lacking the customer service. When we walked in, there was no hostess or no wait sign for us to wait for someone to sit us down. So we sat ourselves down politely and waited patiently until somebody came with menus. The hostess was extremely disrespectful to us when she found out we sat ourselves told us to wait next time. Our waitress had a very rude attitude towards us when we were picking a table to sit at and specifically told us we couldn't sit down at a booth that was open when all the other booths were taken which made no sense what so ever. While she took our food, she never gave us our silverware. When upon paying, we were accused of not paying for our food when we had paid online through the app and I had showed then I paid through my bank statement! The manager was so nice to explain to us that they had new systems that were interfering with the app online. Once we had fully checked to make sure the payment didn't process fully yet, the manager was nice to check us out again under her supervision and apologized for the inconvenience. As soon as we walked into the restaurant we had to witness a male servers arguing with the manager about being told to work faster with getting the food out to the customers. After church my niece and I decided to grab a bite to eat... IHop was our spot. They were busy, but we were seated within 10 minutes. The restaurant was not "cozy", nor did it have the feel of bright and cherrie - but was a bit on the drab side. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. The food was like the restaurant - bland. I choose the omelet made with egg whites and veggies, with a side of hash browns. My niece choose a bowl of grits, (it was more like two cups) - she only ate about a half a cup. She had something else, but sadly, the entire experience was blah! It took about 10 minutes to pay for our bill with the cashier. There was only one cashier and the line was long. At one point she had to go to the kitchen to get something for a carry-out meal and no one came to her assistance, so the line grew while she was away for about 3 minutes. The saving grace of the experience was our waitress, although she didn't cook the meal, nor help out with the cashiering, nor did she choose the decor... she at least was good at her job... Still, I don't go to restaurant to pay $30 for a waitress. I go for a decent meal - to be filled..., so this was a disappointment. read more

Not terrible, definitely needing improvement. Took longer than I expected to get our food but it was correct and tasted good. It's very obvious they're short staffed because the waitresses have to do the hostess jobs and wait their own tables as well as bus their own tables. read more

Serves is so very very bad! He didn't wear a name tag so we didn't know his name. He didn't know how much a side salad was. Then thought I wanted a side of toast with my BLT when I never said anything about toast. Maybe if he spoke English we wouldn't have a problem or maybe I need to learn Spanish? 20 minute wait for one to be seated in a spot that was open for those 20 minutes. After being seated another 15 minutes before anyone spoke or anything in regards to my order. When the lady came to take my order she had the most "whatever " attitude. Only reason I endured the wait as regardless i was going to have to wait while car was being worked on. 2/18/19 I wold give them 0, zero, if I could. Justin, new manager, seated a party of 2 and a party of 8, that came after my party of 3 , because he would not clean off a booth that was empty for 30 minutes. When asked why, He stayed he decided to clean off the booth and tables for a party of 8, even though they came after us. Several workers looked at the list and was just walking around after looking at the list. It took a very long time I clean he tables, no bus boys, won't be coming back! read more

Covid precautions have eliminated the standard menu, so you're now required to scan a QR code. Which even my waiter was unable to do on my phone then he blamed it on me not having an iPhone. Find a way to sanitize your menus or find a better system. Unable to remark about the quality of the food because we left in frustration after 15 min. (For takeout) The wait was terrible, but it always is. I knew what I was getting into. If you have the patience to wait, go for it.

I hate this ihop but the one in Orland Park was closed for the day and my daughter wanted ihop so we went. The staff are really unprofessional the ridiculous side conversations they have where customers can hear is ridiculous. Don't ever send food back they complain and are loud about why they don't want to make it again. They warmed the syrup in the microwave which I had to ask for warm syrup but when I poured it out it was literally water. I was then told because it just came out the microwave it's like that. Wrong!! I've been to many breakfast places that have warm syrup it's never watery they just water their products down and or use a poor quality cheap syrup. I then had paper in my glass of water. It was a disaster next time we will not go to this location. read more

This is by far worst ihop! The service was horrible, they had dirty dishes just sitting at an unoccupied booth. There was also only one server to wait on 7 tables and seat people at the same time. There are way better options for a quick bite. read more

Do not eat here, they have roaches! One crawled down the wall not far from where we sat. We went and got the manager and he came over and killed it. He was very nonchalant about the situation as if this was a normal situation. By the tim me this occurred we had already ate our food. The manager only took $7 off our bill for the inconvenience. I went here to get breakfast to carry out. My last IHOP experience was horrible so I wanted to see how this visit would be. I was surprised at how busy this restaurant was and how many customers were greeted in a way that you could tell they are regular patrons there. Like a family environment. So, I really wanted a Denver Omelette but it wasn't on the menu. I told the cashier what I wanted and she confidently said "oh, we can fix that, no problem". That let me know I was in the right place. The friendly cashier told me "it will take 10 minutes for your order". Surprisingly again, she came with my fresh, hot food in about 5 minutes. My inside mind was like "Wow". My food was delicious. Sorry I don't have pictures, I was STARVING! Not to fret, pictures to come because I definitely will be back. If I could give them zero stars I would. They customers service is horrible. Placed online order it took 30 minutes after I arrived to get my food. And once I got my order they just throw chocolate chips and strawberries in my bag with no container. I will ever eat at ihop again. Denny's is better read more

While I loved my breakfast, the enchalada thing..my wife was very disappointed in hers. And the employees seem to be so into each other, it's really a shame that there's not more professionalism. This is definitely not the place to go for Saturday morning pancakes. You are not greeted or even acknowledged when you walk in. The waitresses appear to also be the hostess, and they appear to move at a snail's pace. After 10 minutes when we finally got seated, no one brought us coffee or water. We finally got up and left. If I could give them 0 I would! Went for breakfast & the booth Cushion had a huge hole covered with duck tape on this account alone I will never go back to this location. It was crowded so we would have had to wait for a new table to open. The fact that they are that crowded on the weekend shows that the cushion is a easy fix blame poor management. Right off the bat this was not a pleasant experience. My husband and I stood waiting for a host/hostess for a while with a few other people while staff walked back and forth practically ignoring us. When a young woman finally got to us, she took our names and assured us that we would only have to wait a couple minutes for a table to get cleaned. No big deal, sometimes places are short staffed, we get that. Well we waited, and waited... and waited. The couple behind us left at this point, but we hung in there. We wanted to give them a chance. Food service IS a hard gig afterall. Another woman came out and assured us we wouldn't be waiting for too much longer, but wait we did. After a while, more customers came in BEHIND us, and they were seated right away. That was the nail in the coffin. What was the point in taking down our names? Man, that was straight disrespectful. Even the guy waiting for his pickup order gave us a pitying look. We left without ever tasting the food. I hope they can become more organized in the future, but then again I won't be going back to check. read more

We visited this IHOP on a Sunday morning and were greeted promptly upon entering. We were seated right away and our waitress took our drink orders as soon as we were seated. Our food arrived quickly and was delicious. Our order was correct and the food was hot. Our waitress checked on us a couple of times and provided us with the things that we needed. When the restaurant you walk into has garbage on the floor in the waiting area it is never a good sign of a well-managed establishment. We were told that there was a five minute wait and after 20 minutes of sitting and seeing at least four open tables. We asked to speak to the manager but she was unavailable because she was cooking according to the waitress. We made Several suggestions including seating the people in the waiting area at a table while they waited. She informed that she made the same suggestion to the manager who told her it was better for people to wait in the lobby as the kitchen was backed up. ???? The garbage can was also overflowing so with all of these factors in mind we decided to go elsewhere. I have not been here in awhile and I will never go back. First off there was vomit out in the front of the restaurant. The hostess just stared at us when we walked in. She said nothing! There was a 15 second pause, & I said there are 6 of us & we need a high chair. She still said nothing! Walked us over & I told her where we needed the high chair and she gave me a dirty look.
