    222 w steakhouse bacon

It was not one of my best experiences in an IHOP. The server was amazing she was out of her way to make sure Our coffee cups are always full we had enough water she came back a couple times and checked on us. But unfortunately I wasn't totally impressed with the meal I really thought of the bacon would have more flavor I got the special bacon that they had on the menu however the bacon was it tasted just like a slice of ham if I wanted ham I would've ordered ham there was no sweetener taste to it like it is described in the menu it was actually kind of bland. Also I got scrambled eggs and they tasted of kind of funny so I didn't finish them I realized after I looked at the menu that they add in their pancake batter to their scrambled eggs I guess to make them fluffy or something but it just leaves a weird taste in your mouth after you eat them. My friends thought their meal was OK but really was wondering if it wasn't supposed be better. Probably won't go to this IHOP again for a while. Let's wait and see if things get better. I do go to other IHOP's that are typically my regular spots and I've never had problems either one of those so I'm gonna wait and see if this one just gets better..

IHOP of Milford -- 17 Medway Road / Route 109, Milford Menu

IHOP just opened in the former Friendly's building right along Route 109 in Milford, minutes from Milford Center and even closer to Exit 19 off I-495. And it was just about time.... the closest IHOP to here, in Framingham, is a good 25 minutes or longer to get to, so it's definitely much more convenient to have one in this area. Large parking area, not busy, and pleasant interior. It's a bit smaller than most other IHOP restaurants I've been to, which could only possibly be an issue during busy times. They upgraded this space nicely though.... it's much cleaner than during Friendly's tenure in this space. Staff and management are especially friendly, efficient, and professional. I had been sent via email that was only supposed to be used at another IHOP... the manager gladly accepted it. Food was standard IHOP fare, was very quick, and was just an overall pleasant experience. -1 star only for the small interior and the extremely sticky menus. Those did not seem new and everyone at my table was grossed out by how there was seemingly syrup all over them! 4 stars. IHOP is surely welcome to Milford, and I think they will provide better and more necessary service than Friendly's ever did!

You can see the remnants from the coating that was on the raw chicken breast!

I loved the maple margarita. Perfect balance of sweet and salty. The food came out hot and nicely plated. Do not miss the smashed potatoes, the veggie hash, and the freshly squeezed juices. All are delicious. My omelette was jam packed with all kinds of veggies. The only negative is that it is very loud inside and can be hard to hear your own conversation. If I lived close by, I would be a regular.

I've been here for both of my sisters' graduation brunches, and we always leave happy. It's become one of our favorite spots for a celebratory brunch. For drinks, I tried their new Vanilla Bean Matcha Latte with oat milk. It was a bit thicker than I expected--possibly because of the oat milk. I can definitely see some people loving that texture, but for me it was just okay. That said, it was still a good drink, and the hint of vanilla came through nicely without overpowering the matcha. For food, we ordered a variety of dishes for the table. 1. The chicken and waffles had so much flavor, and the poached eggs were cooked perfectly--not too runny, but still soft, gooey, and delicious. The chicken was a little soggy, but it made up for it by being incredibly tender. 2. The blueberry pancake was fantastic. Their pancake portions are huge, so this time we only ordered one to share. It was delicious, though definitely on the heavier side. 3. The house burger was easily the standout dish of the meal and might be my favorite item on the menu. It's simple and classic, but packed with flavor. 4. The chicken burger, on the other hand, was disappointing. The chicken was quite dry, and I probably wouldn't order it again. I think something like pickled onions or another acidic topping could help bring some balance and moisture to the sandwich. 5. We also tried the omelet, which was very good, especially with the goat cheese. What really made the experience special was that the staff noticed we were celebrating a graduation and surprised us with complimentary donuts. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a lovely way to end the meal.

Their coffee is good, though they don't offer many specialty flavor options if that's what you're looking for. The corned beef is large chunks, not small diced pieces found in most commercial and canned hash. The potatoes, peppers, and onions gave a nice texture and flavor. As I was eyeing the French toast, he gave me a single piece which included their fruit infused whipped cream and was really, really good! That might be my entree next time. My friend got the crepes and her face was doing happy expressions while she was eating. My new best friend Maria kept my coffee mug full-she visited the table frequently to make sure my mug never got low nor cold. She also took care to clean the table promptly as plates were finished. Now if my kids could learn that... oh wait, this is a diner review. The ambiance is cute and chic. There was easy access to accommodate wheel chairs and they have their menu clearly marked for gluten free available and vegan options (most of the menu). The menu is on the fancier side; they will prepare whatever someone wants (e.g. if someone just wants 2 eggs and bacon, they can easily do that). The location is on Main St. so parking is hit or miss. If you are nearby and want something good, this is a good option!
