We decided to go to breakfast for Mother's Day. We were a party of 7 and arrived at 10:50am. Unfortunately 2 young gentlemen did not know how to seat a large party. After the 45 minute wait that we had been told they seated 2 separate groups one a couple and one with 3 people at the large table that could have accommodated our party (they also came into the restaurant and put their name on the list 1/2 hour after us). We asked at the counter and they said you will have to take 2 tables seated across from each other or wait for the table that seated the 2 groups of people. we took the tables seated across from each other with the understanding that they were going to serve us as one table. Not very much family time for Mother's Day seated away from each other. Then they wait on one table and 15 minutes later they still had not come to the other table. Talked to the front counter then they had to get another waitress. Finally they took our order but our other table was receiving their food already. We have been going to IHOP for 30+ years and this is by far the worst restaurant we have ever been to. To top it off while taking a child to the restroom a cook came from the kitchen went to the restroom (did not flush) and went directly from the stall to the kitchen. Came Sunday around noon with husband and two teens. Place was busy but we were seated right away. Our waitress Evelyn was perfect, I mean perfect! Unbelievable that they hire rude waiters that purposely ignore customers because they ask about a special that has been running on commercials for over a week. Went in to check them out. Noticed there was nothing about the special in the menu or on any signage. After receiving my coffee I asked the waiter about the special and he stated " I don't no anything about any special". I said it had been running on TV and he just turned around and walked away. Manager came over and said he knew about the special but their location was running behind on starting that because they only recently opened. He told us he would honor the special. After that the waiter basically ignored us. He did everything including clearing a table, took multiple checks, while we sat their waiting to order. After he dealt with other tables and I assumed he would finally come to us, he went to another empty table and dealt with clearing a bill. Never looking at our table. We got up and left. Will never go back to that location. If you go and get the miserable male waiter good luck to you. read more

I am upset. I ordered a side of fruit expecting there to be a great deal of various fruits since the price was over $5. When I received it I was astonished. There was a single grape, 1 piece of honeydew, and 5 pieces of squishy warm watermelon. I was completely baffled and irritated. Never will I order fruit from Ihop ever again. Our waitress, Stephanie, was super kind and trying her hardest to make everything great. She was the only worker in the restaurant at the time we were there and she had many tables/to go orders to be juggling all at once. My food was good, however my friend got raw chicken. So at 8 am on a Sunday morning we stop for breakfast. 3 cars in the parking lot and 2 workers standing outside by the back door. I don't know why I bothered because I knew what the outcome would be but I tried the doors. Sure enough, the doors were locked. Hours say they should be open at 6 am. My guess is they didn't have enough people show up to work to open. I feel bad for the workers that showed up because they looked locked out too. read more

Employees do drugs in the bathroom while they are working , and managers know about it, they don't care the girl have all her hand with pinches , she got caught in the bathroom the lady that caught her , complain but managers didn't care , first and last time at IHOP in Milford. I do not recommend this location AT ALL.. terrible service. Seeing as we were the ONLY people in the entire restaurant there is absolutely no reason why it took more then 10 minutes to receive our food. Waitress was one of the worse I've ever come into contact with. They received no tip. When we came in there was a big table that had someone's remaining dirty dishes & silverware on it, we spent more then half an hour in the restaurant and when we left the table STILL had the dirty dishes on it so the waitress/busser clearly NOT doing his/her job. I asked for a full stack, which on there menu said 5 pancakes I only received 4 ... and asked for a side (2) of pancakes and didn't receive those AT ALL but was charged for them but I'm no fool I can bet you they didn't get paid for those none received pancakes... I'm from out of town so whenever I do come in I can guarantee you they won't get a visit from me & my spouse ever again food was definitely not worth the wait read more

I'm not sure if we just got lucky- but we had great service the other day for breakfast. The waitress was really nice, and everything came out pretty fast. My daughter enjoyed the churro pancakes, and I enjoyed regular pancakes, eggs and bacon. I appreciated the small pot of coffee, so I could do my own refills. All I can say is wayyy too expensive. I was shocked when we got the bill, they charged 2.99/ per cup of coffee per person and another 2.99 for chocolate milk. Also ordered an omelette with hash browns and some French toast with 2 slices of bacon and hash browns. The total with tip cape out to $40. Will never return. read more

IHOP is a classic so I had to check this new location out. It's so much closer to me than the Framingham or Worcester ones. I think it's a great place to go for a leisurely meal. I know they just opened recently, so I think they are trying to still figure everything out, staffing wise. I'm not sure if they were just short staffed the night I went there or if they are short staffed in general, but there was a pretty good wait for our food. We weren't in a rush so it didn't matter much to me. In my opinion, the food is always worth the wait. The servers were very apologetic about the wait, which was nice. They made sure we were all set while we waited and were very attentive. I hope they get some more employees because the place has the potential to be 5 stars for sure, just needs a few extra hands! Maybe they'll hire me for the summer :p Like I said, if you're in no rush, looking to spend some time with friends or family over some breakfast (preferably for dinner, I don't know why sausage just tastes sooo good after 5pm), then it's a great place to go! "Meh". This place is new, I was hoping to be wowed. But nothing special here. On the plus side, the restaurant has been recently renovated, everything seems clean and bright. The tables, floor and seats were clean (a pet peeve of our's), and staff was busily busing other tables ( a good sign). We were greeted warmly when we entered, and our waitress was friendly and helpful. On the minus side, my pancakes were undercooked (could taste the batter). I sent them back, and they were quickly replaced with more undercooked pancakes. My wife's eggs and toast were fine. Coffee, tea, and 2 meals were $27. No bargain here. There are many other better choices for breakfast in this area. Lowell's in Hopedale, Johnny Jacks in Milford, Town Common in Hopedale.... just to name a few. read more

I love the food here. It is consistent and delicious every time. Unfortunately the service is horrible. There is no management or mismanagement. They allow empty tables to sit while they make people sit out front. The service staff is inefficient and confused. My husband refuses to go there due to the bad service. So I went myself to enjoy a quiet breakfast while I read my book. He was right. I should have stayed home. Service is again horrible even though the restaurant was not that busy. So disappointed because I love the food. I won't be back. read more

Had to wait over 20 minutes to be seated. Once seated, we were put behind a group of really loud teenagers so we asked to switch to a different table. Once switched, we were then completely ignored by all servers for 15 minutes until I had to go up to the front to the greater and ask where our server is. Any place that has a waitress that asks you if there was anything wrong with her service in a condescendingly fashion because she got a tip that wasn't what she expected automatically is low class. We were a party of 4 and went for dinner. The place was probably at 20% capacity but yet we had to wait a while to be seated. The drinks we ordered came quick but that is where everything slowed down to a crawl. The apps took at least 15-20 minutes to come out and consisted of chicken tenders, onion rings and mozz stix in a bowl and 1 small cup of marinara. No ketchup or anything else offered. The meals we got weren't that satisfying and the two sandwiches were so haphazardly put together that they had to be eaten with a knife and fork. The chicken garden salad was a chicken breast and 1/2 mushrooms half lettuce. Part of the order was forgotten and we had to request ketchup for the fries. While we were eating the waitress began sweeping right next to our table, which we found inconsiderate. Topping everything off after being there for an hour and 20 minutes was a bill that needed to be adjusted. Then the waitress wonders why the tip was 9%. The place looked okay but nothing more than the slightly renovated Friendly's that used to be there. Which I now miss considerably. read more
