I went with one of my classic favs -- the bison burger with fries. And it was Burger Tuesday, so it was $5 off, yay! I was sitting at the bar and the bartender was handling everyone's orders efficiently. I forgot his name, but he was a nice older guy. Now... the choke (hairy little inside portion) is called the choke for a reason. That being said, there wasn't too too much of it and I just kinda cut most of it off with my spoon as it was fried and fairly easy to remove. The aioli that it was served with was quite good. I also got to try the brussel sprouts which were quite delicious, if not a bit heavy handedly sauced. It was definitely clear the brussel sprouts would have been very crispy if the sauce were added, tossed, and then strained. I also did get to try the poutine which ignited a debate with my friend about what type of cheese goes onto a traditional poutine, in which I clearly told him and can clearly tell you - he was wrong lol. Traditionally poutine is served with whole cheese curds. He was trying to argue that it was not and that they wouldn't melt from the heat of the fries and gravy. He is wrong. Argument handled lol.
